Dam that looks good! There’s something about a regular cab that just looks good! Especially when lifted and a dually! Trends in oickup trucks have made cabs bigger, huge, take the mega cab for example. Everything is a 4 door. Beds have gotten smaller cabs gotten bigger. I had a mega cab, it was cool. But I still wanted a long bed! I almost did the ‘long bed your mega cab kit’ but it was stupid stupid expensive. My first truck when I was 16 was a single cab ‘97 ford f150 that I lifted 4” and had 33” Pro-comp muds! It was by far the nicest truck in the high school parking lot. I’d love to go back to a single cab, no one ever rode in the back of my mega cab, and if by any rare chance someone did it always seemed like they made a mess, was annoying.
Dang that thing kills. I love the look. It’s funny how these days a regular cab long bed is a ‘unique’ build. lol my first truck in 2000 when I turned 16 and got My drives license was a regular cab long bed ford f150. That was right about the time everyone wanted 4 door, quad cab, bigger. Bigger bigger. Cabs for more doors and higher and beds got smaller, a lot smaller, you can let even out a 4wheeler atv in the bed of a new truck these days anymore. It won’t fit . I’m so glad my ‘02 24v HO 6 speed is a long bed, I live being able to put a dirt bike in the back and close the tail gate. I remember I almost didn’t buy my ‘02 cause I wanted a short bed, I’m so glad I did. That what a real pickup truck is, a bench seat and an 8 foot bed. All these 4 door, quad cab, mega cab trucks with back seats that even recline. Meh. I had a ‘06 mega cab for a long time. It was cool. I wanted to do the ‘long bed my mega cab kit’ but it was so expensive to do. Doing it is the easy part. The kit came with the frame extensions. That part’s easy. It’s the pain of finding a decent good 8 foot bed that ain’t all cow licked and dented up, having to paint match it and everything. That part’s easy for you with your paint shop. A leaven with an 8 foot bed has got to be like driving a school bus. There’s one rolling around Grand junction Colorado here I’ve seen. The dude had the entire thing bed liner sprayed like a flat olive army green color. Killer bold man! Love the style, keep ‘em coming!
