In fact, winch start isn't as common as it seems. At least in Europe, most airfields rather do air-tows rather than winch launches

No Swiss you stay on the winch for like 45 seconds minimum with a nose up of like 50° until you get to roughly 2500 ft AGL

Those whinches have abaut 400hp so there are defnitifly not weak. You will need that power to acelerate an 800kg arcus from 0-100kmh in two seconds but an airliner is way heavyer
