About This Video :-
in this video we have discussed the points to keep in mind when you visit passport seva kendra on the selected appointment date.
the process to apply for indian passport is that initially you have to apply online for passport by visiting passportindia.gov.in and then you get an appointment date and on that appointment date you have to visit passport seva kendra and finally the process of police verification comes and after that your passport is delivered to your home address.
You don't need print out of your appointment just sms will do.. Save paper carry print out of your aadhar and original aadhar and 10th certificate. please don't carry photos lot of videos are there giving wrong information to carry passport size photos which is not required at all.. + remember you can reschedule your appointment only 3 times and if you cancel it's gone for one year so be very careful and check your form carefully
Bhai maine 2995/- dekar apply kiya tha or mera appointment date bhi aa gaya. PSK pe jane ke baad ka process thoda explain kar denge?

4:41 if any such issue please don't take immediate date . Request for time .
Try and have a same name working bank account for address proof.
During verification process at the passport office it's a 3 step verification process before it goes to the actual passport officer.
So you can make changes in A, B counters. Here if we don't have any document they will try to give us next date . Try your best to get that document without taking next date . They may not send you outside but you can make calls , ask someone to get the document, send emails, WhatsApp etc and those will be passed inside . Inside they have printers and Xerox machines.
I did everything but accepted next date and then tried so my efforts went waste . Hope it helps someone 🙏

After marriage Female candidate ke liye unke basic details per father name or legal guardian name pe father name Hoga ya husband name ? or place of birth pe unke father's address na Sasural ki address honge? kyunki passport k front page pe rahega to sensitive hai main Janna chahatahu... please reply me as soon as possible.

I applied for passport fresh application in 5th feb 23, appointment is scheduled in 8th fed 23, after documents verification in passport seva kendra, called for police verification in 17th feb 23, in this day i sucessfully complete police verification, and in 22th feb 23 i received my own passport
So to online application to passport receive it took 17 day only and appointment to passport receive it took 15 days

I am a married woman. I have already changed my aadhar card and pan card years back according to my husband's title. In my pan card i still have my father's name. But my CBSE board certificate is as usual with my maiden name. So, now how do I substantiate tht i am the same person before and after marriage ?
No problem if you want to passport then in adar your husband name is compulsory so I think it is impossible to change in tenth certificate so dont worry

Hello Sir, My adhar details were updated few days back so I haven't received original adhar card can I carry the colour printout of e-aadhar at time of passport appointment.

No it doesn't work. This is happened with me when I had the same issue. When I reached their with colour print out, but they rejected they said bring the original one with the new appointment date

A: Applicants are required to attach self -attested photocopies of all the required documents with the application form at PSK/POPSK. Original documents must be produced at the counter during your application processing at PSK/POPSK; which will be returned after verification.
Q12: Is Identity Certificate mandatory for Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employees?

Can a government employee apply as an ordinary citizen without submitting the additional documents?

In what cases Annexure A,G and H have to be submitted and is it mandatory to submit these documents?
A: For issuance of a passport, Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employees need to submit either Identity Certificate in original as per Annexure "A" or No Objection Certificate (NOC) as per Annexure "G" or Prior Intimation Letter (PI) as per Annexure "H" as an additional document along with the application form. If he/she submits Annexure "A", passport will be issued without police verification and if he/she submits Annexure "G", passport will be issued on post police verification basis and if he/she submits Annexure "H", passport will be issued on pre police verification basis.
Q13: I am working in a private bank. ? Am I required to furnish my Identity Certificate?
A: No, only Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employees need to submit their Identity Certificate.
Q14: If a government employee wants to apply for major change in name in passport, is advertisement/declaration/announcement in a leading newspaper required to be submitted?
A: If Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employee wants to go for major change in name, then he/she has to submit the following additional documents:
Gazette Notification changing name in applicant's department.
Fresh ID Certificate in changed name.
Q15: Can dependents of Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employees apply for the passport in the normal process without submitting any affidavits?
A: Dependent family members of Government/Public Sector/Statutory body employees can be issued passport (validity of passport for minor dependent restricted to the age of 18 years) without police verification, if they submit “Identity Certificate” in original as per Annexure “A” (of dependent) as an additional document.
Otherwise, passport would be issued to them on pre police verification basis, or post police verification basis - if they apply under Tatkaal scheme with required documents.
Q16: Is it mandatory to submit Birth Certificate for applicants who are born on or after 26.01.1989?

Q17: Do I need to submit a Birth Certificate for re-issue of a passport?

Q18: I am a salaried person and Income tax is deducted from salary. What are the documents I need to submit for Non-ECR status?
A: Following documents have to be submitted for Non-ECR (previously ECNR) status:
Proof of assessment of income tax and actual payment of income tax for last one year; or
Income Tax returns statement (with income tax being paid by the applicant) for last one year that is stamped by income tax authorities and a copy of the PAN card.
Please note that applicants submitting NIL income tax return statements are not eligible for ECNR.

Q19: What documents are required when there is a change in surname on account of marriage/divorce?
A: No additional document is required for change of surname of female application on account of marriage/divorce.

Q20: What documents have to be submitted for applicants who are unable to provide the prescribed marriage certificate or joint affidavit due to marital discord or separation and are applying for fresh passport?
A: Married applicants would not be required to provide any marriage certificate or joint affidavit.
Q21: What are the requirements /documents needed for getting the date of birth/place of birth changed in my passport?
A: To change the date/place of birth in the passport, you have to apply for a “Re-issue” of passport and get the specified change done in the personal particulars. However, more documents may be sought by competent authority. Each case for change of date/place of birth would be examined and request may also be refused, if not found in order.
Q22: I want to change address on my passport. What documents should I submit along with the application form?
A: You need to submit the following documents:

Q25: I am a self employed person and have recently shifted to Bangalore from Delhi. I want to apply for a passport on Tatkaal basis, but I don't have any address proof. What should I do?

Q26: Can I use Passbook/statement of banks as a proof of address?

Q27: I have printed my online form and have found a mistake. How can I correct it?
A: At the Passport Seva Kendra (PSK)/Post Office Passport Seva Kendra (POPSK) please ask the Citizen Service Executive (CSE) i.e. at Counter-A to make the required changes in the application form.

ECR or ECNR ( if you are passed 10th or above you cangent ECNR passport) otherwise you have to clear Emigration Clearance i.e Deposite Rs.20,000-- as security deposit with Emigration department

The CSE or TCS staff just do the documentation. Rest all the work like verification and granting are done by central government employees at B and C counters.

You can update your ECR passport to Non-ECR after providing eligible document.
