Hey guys, I deleted most of my old videos on here and have started making new ones. Short comedic videos with some dark humor and special f/x. Please check them out and let me know what you think! And subscribe for more!
this video inspired me to make my budget green ranger costume.I cut the shield off this costume and then crazy glued it to a foam mat i purchased from home depot for 10$ and sprayed it gold. It looks like a high quality dragon shield you see online for 500$ lol
I would line the Chest Armor with some thin foam to make it rigid. The white diamonds don't matter with the green ranger. Awesome job dude!!! Looks great!!!
I bought this same costume about a week ago. Now, I'm pretty small, and all they had was an XL. What I did was just take out the muscle padding, and take in the suit substantially, and it looks great! Used my Grandma's sewing machine, and finished in a few hrs. Also used the gold sharpie for the gloves and boots. Took in the gloves and boots also. Cut off the boot covers and modified a pair of old boots I had lying around. Good video though.
That's awesome. There are definitely other methods depending on your skills and the tools available to you, and it seems like you found something that works. Kudos!
I'm currently working on a white ranger cosplay made from scratch so I've been looking all over the internet for help and inspiration so this has been helpful :D
I still have the Halloween costume and I found out that the muscles are actually removable from the inside. Of course you'll have to sew it back once the padding is out, but now it's not so heavy on me.
Thanks for making such an Awesome Video! This is gonna totally make my Halloween. Here we go! DIY. Should I take my Legacy Dragon Dagger out of the box???
Green ranger has always been my favorite. I will be giving this a try. Favorited this video for reference! Will see about the full body Green morph suit (no pun intended), otherwise Green Ranger Suit Costume with diamonds I found on eBay.
timdog326 One thing I did not see in the video, was about the spandex suit, and if needing to cut a hole in the head for extra room for breathing. Did you do that, or did you just decapitate the head portion of the spandex suit?
konack1 I used the head portion of the spandex suit to cover up my neck, as the white neck part of the halloween costume wasn't enough by itself to do so. That head part is basically a backwards hoodie, so it can be pulled down if you don't want to use it. You can see it in some of the photos. If I had more time, I would've just gotten a thick white piece of cloth and wrapped around my neck. I mention it briefly at around 19:11
Awesome video for making a decent Green Ranger suit. I would only add that a toy Dragon Dagger is much better than the Legacy Dragon Dagger, which weighs a fucking TON! and would be near impossible to find a holster and belt sturdy enough to hold it up! Kudos for getting a cool response from JDF! That's awesome!!
That's a good point, but they look soooooooooo good though, man. All shiny and new and stuff. I have the original and will always cherish it, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't really want one of those. Thanks so much for the kind words!
I don't think I really have any recommendations since I never really considered doing it, but I think someone else in the comments suggested maybe ironing the pattern on it.
your video gave me the idea to do a blue ranger costume........ assuming I can get my hands on one, and do the suit as opposed to the muscle costume. you've got some great ideas!
has anyone figured out how to get the white diamonds on the back of the costume, im getting a red mmpr costume for the new 2017 movie except that its what the original power rangers looked liked ( so i can show everyone what the MMPR is supposed to look like lol)
hey whatsup man I have not seen your videos in a long time how things are going? I use to watch the show geekly dose and watch some of the independent films that you were in you did really good job in those. let me know what upcoming things that you have been working on that I can be able to check out.
Hey buddy! Yeah I'm gonna start making videos again. I appreciate all of the support. The best way to keep up with me and find out about upcoming projects and videos is to go to Facebook.com/timbridgewater2 I appreciate the support!
Okay just wondering cause a lot of people saying it says morphsuit across the but I was just curious I love the way your costume came out you are right it wasn't expensive to do this at all I was the bomb at the Comic Con in our hometown I even had the Dragon Sword thank you very much buddy
The song at the beginning and end is called "An Ode to Violence" by Swords At Sundown (a band I used to sing in) The rest of it is just music that came on my iMac.
+Tim Bridgewater GEEK - timdog326 good. All I have to do now is to upload a photo of the drawing of it onto my tablet, and then send it to you, either through the comments section or Gmail.
I'll probably be doing this either this year or next. Only thing I'll spend the $$$ on is the helmet. I've always wanted one of the legit helmets. But I appreciate all the good ideas man. Did you ever get the white ranger costume made?
+Big Viss I didn't. I'm actually gonna miss the party that I mentioned in the video this year because I'll be out of town, so I didn't even make plans for a costume this year.
also remember boobs and spandex I accidentally found this when I was wondering if it was possible to remove the muscle from one of those costumes because obviously I'm a girl and I'm into fanfiction and stuff and the girls costumes from some things are either non existent or way too revealing- not school or*ahem* family appropriate- plus I'm not that confident with my body and I don't want other [people to see stuff they shouldn't anyways. And I don't know how to sew much nor want to ask other people to help either since my mom only knows basic sewing like hemming and repairs. Though this year I'm going to be power girl since there will be too many super girls with the tv show and I don't want to mess with a wig since I just dyed my hair any other color than the blonde it is and the color won't be out by Halloween. I found a dress on amazon and my boyfriend's mom is going to help with the cape and stuff.

+Andrew Wood Nooice!
That's great i wanna cosplay as the dark rangers from mmpr the ones sucked so i'm gonna use the 2017 movie costume.
Andrew you have any pics of that
THEY MADE A WHITE RANGER COSTUME!!!!!
I would line the Chest Armor with some thin foam to make it rigid.
The white diamonds don't matter with the green ranger.
Awesome job dude!!! Looks great!!!
I'm going to be the female green ranger so this helped a lot!!!
Nice! I honestly don't think I've seen that before.
Really? wow!

Oh yeah, I also removed all the elastic. That stuff on the back looked ridiculous. It had to go!
That's awesome. There are definitely other methods depending on your skills and the tools available to you, and it seems like you found something that works. Kudos!
Not gonna lie, this has inspired me to try and see how budget friendly i could get with making ranger costumes. i'm gonna give it a shot
megas957 that’s awesome dude, glad the vid helped you!

+liquidjorge So glad to hear that, that's why I made it
Casual "well endowed " disclaimer. Lol
I'm currently working on a white ranger cosplay made from scratch so I've been looking all over the internet for help and inspiration so this has been helpful :D
That's awesome, man...glad to be of help!
I still have the Halloween costume and I found out that the muscles are actually removable from the inside. Of course you'll have to sew it back once the padding is out, but now it's not so heavy on me.
Theirs a White Ranger muscle costume out now. You should try doing one for that. :)
I sent him a message on Facebook telling him yesterday!
Mralfpit Thanks, guys! Perhaps I will!
the movie clip was bomb!
Awesome job man the suit looks great i wonder if you can put clamps on the helmet?
Thanks for making such an Awesome Video! This is gonna totally make my Halloween. Here we go! DIY. Should I take my Legacy Dragon Dagger out of the box???
Steven! No problem, buddy! And as for the Legacy Dragon Dagger, I feel like you have to take it out! But be careful...
Green ranger has always been my favorite. I will be giving this a try. Favorited this video for reference! Will see about the full body Green morph suit (no pun intended), otherwise Green Ranger Suit Costume with diamonds I found on eBay.
That's great. I'm glad you're finding it useful. Good luck! I'd love to see how your costume comes out!

Like your video and plus here's a cheap way to make the white diamond shapes on the suite
You turned the suit from sh*t to sugar with pure will power.......#Dope!
Definitely trying this out this Halloween. Thanks for the tips
No prob!

That actually didn't turn out too bad thanks for the ideas I really appreciate it
No problem, glad it worked out for you!
Hey I know you didn't do it but what would you recommend to create the diamond pattern on the spandex suit
I don't think I really have any recommendations since I never really considered doing it, but I think someone else in the comments suggested maybe ironing the pattern on it.
I think you can use white out or paint to design the diamonds if your an artist like me.I think that's what I'll do
oh man this guy is hilarious
your video gave me the idea to do a blue ranger costume........ assuming I can get my hands on one, and do the suit as opposed to the muscle costume. you've got some great ideas!
Sweet! I'd like to see it if you do it.
timdog326
For sure! I just need to find the costume first. If I can, it's on!
I've been trying to get some standalone objects like the shield, but I can't find them anywhere
Val get it from anki cosplay
has anyone figured out how to get the white diamonds on the back of the costume, im getting a red mmpr costume for the new 2017 movie except that its what the original power rangers looked liked ( so i can show everyone what the MMPR is supposed to look like lol)
The Random Soldier I think someone in the comments someone suggested ironing them on...?
On behalf of every MMPR fan in England, thanks man!
+Graham O'Brien No problem, bud! I'm hoping to visit you guys someday!
Thanks for the ideas I got this on amazon today

Johnathon Ortiz Yeah some of might say that on it, but mine didn't. I'm so glad you found the video useful and that you were the bomb! Congrats!
Where did you get the music for your video?
The song at the beginning and end is called "An Ode to Violence" by Swords At Sundown (a band I used to sing in) The rest of it is just music that came on my iMac.
Can you send me a link with the mac music?

+Tim Bridgewater GEEK - timdog326 good. All I have to do now is to upload a photo of the drawing of it onto my tablet, and then send it to you, either through the comments section or Gmail.

Yes! The "junk container" step also applies to women, of course! Good luck with Power Girl, I'm sure it'll work out great!
Of course all it takes for us is a good bra. lol
Thanks!
Girls have it so easy! (not really)
That's only true if you're under a C cup. XD
