- With more companies entering the realm of smart glasses, Razer has recently decided to jump into the market as well and offer their new smart glasses with more battery life and lower audio latency. In this video, I have an unboxing and review of the Razer Anzu Smart Glasses that I've tested out for a week. Let me know what you guys think? Are these smart glasses on your list of items to get from Razer?

Literally came to this video to find out where they hid the charging cable and was so happy to hear “I was wondering where the charging cable was at and it’s actually in the leather case” THANK YOU!
5:36 you’re welcome
I have these they're really nice although I am planing to use these with prescription lenses
I wonder if my eye insurance would pay for this lol
Please try it lol
With prescription lenses will be perfect!
Wow! I’m delighted 😃 Congratulations, you nailed it! Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
Just got a pair recently on sale. Awesome review this helped out alot
How do you like them? Best Buy has them on sale right now for 69 bucks
@@JLBREMER I use them everyday as my primary glasses. The sound and call quality is clear but it only has a 5 hour battery life for music and talking. Normally I wouldn’t complain but I have prescription lenses so I wish lasted longer. They do make your eyes look a little big 😂 I also use them for phone calls at work so it’s a win for me
Yeah just got mine for 60 said screw it it works as a headset on my pc if I want it to 😂
Isn38 good
I like this guy, he's like underrated unbox Theory
You mean overrated?
@@jclau77 no he said it correctly. He’s saying that this guy is basically the underrated version of unbox therapy but he definitely could. Have worded this differently
I got a pair recently and I like them got mine for a good price
I already own the Bose frames. Also had them sent out to get my prescription transition lenses installed. He seriously look like a re-branded Bose frames all the way to using Lensabl.
if the warranties anything like bose if you do not go through Lensabl for your prescription you void your warranty.
Unfortunately I’ve had to go through the warranty process of bows and all I did was pop out my prescription and put in do you original sunglass lenses. Got my new pair and put in my prescription lenses back in.
nice content! Is this the Large size?
Small/medium
in the event of a flash flood this guy’s purpose will be fulfilled
Wait is there like and holographic or like menu type of thing that you can see through the lens?
I was just here to see about the how to charge and the secret pouch is definitely a secret
with the option to put prescription lenses, i dont see why it would be an issue making those lenses into transition lenses. thus making those extra tinted lenses useless.
I don't need a prescription, do they make non prescription transition lens?
Not sure why this has downvotes. Is a good review.
Thanks Dean!
cuz the product sucks lol
not the guys fault
@@GreggEddwards The product seems to be fine. They are about the same price as designer frames, on par with other Smart Glasses like Bose, and they look nice (to me at least, as it is matter of opinion). I wouldn't be against getting these as prescription sunglasses for outdoor use like walking/biking.
Why do we use touch controls when buttons would do? It makes sense on tiny things like airpods maybe (but even there the pros added a button on the stem and it's way simpler and more responsive)
Dude had ALL that desk space and threw the small box on the floor 😂
Love the video! Keep going man!
Here's some tips for ya, put a ring light in the middle of your camera so your shadow when looking down will be lightened
Thanks! I got a ring light recently 👍
@@T3CHUP cool!
I'd love to see how they fit in a motorcycle helmet
Really want to see how these would go in an office environment, how well the mic works for teams calls etc, can I wear these in the office and take calls or our my neighbours going to hear my entire call? Would love to see a follow up review on WFH and office based scenarios
Aaron these would actually be great for an office environment at home, but in an office environment at work I’d be slightly skeptical using them. Considering if you’re close to others at work you’ll turn some heads at full volume as others would slightly hear your conversations, but they aren’t that loud as open ear headphones at full volume.
You can definitely use these for PC gaming with gaming mode activated
How do you activate gaming mode?
So basically it's a waste of money.
I'd just hold out for AR lenses.
How does the fit feel. Want to get them but don't know what size to choose
The fit on them were great for me I didnt have any issue with the fit Davindra, but you'll have to look at the measurements Razer provides to really know what size you'll need to get.
Hey woot is selling these for $25 right now, anyone looking at these should check it out. Insane deal
do you mind doing a comparison with these and bose frames tenor/soprano?
🤔
@@PhillyPhrilly ?
Thats definitely been on my mind😊
And Vue glasses
I already own the Bose frames. Also had them sent out to get my prescription transition lenses installed. He seriously look like a re-branded Bose frames.
If you play a music, will it be heard by the person beside you or no ? Im curious before getting one
It all depends on how high you would set the volume. If you blast them to full volume someone will notice but it wont be as loud for them. Everyone also hears things differently.
Honestly, all those smart glasses and watches don't inovate, it just the same shit we have on our phone, so buying something for 200$ that does nothing new, and isn't really that good wouldn't be a home run purchase.. Good review!
Yeah Lenstah, I can’t completely disagree with you. You have a point, to me right now smart glasses and smart watches offer convenience and glorified Bluetooth but 10 yrs from now it could be a different story? We’re still in the early stages of smart glasses.
Do you know if these can be used dor video calls? Like if were to make or receive calls via facetime, duo, zoom etc, would you be able to hear clearly through them?
Jeremy I did try these with facetime and they worked via bluetooth, but i dont know about Duo or Zoom since i didnt try it on those.
@@T3CHUP Thank you for the quick reply. I'm pretty sure if they worked for facetime it will work for the others. I'm just looking for an alternative for a wires headset or ear buds. I appreciate the info. Keep up the good work on your channel.
Camera is there?
Live streaming possible?
Unfortunately, the glasses dont have a camera...
I'm searching for glasses with a built in display anyone got any ideas
How is the sound leakage?
So these smart glasses have open ear speakers on the frames so it’s going to leak sound no matter what. The speakers and sound aim downwards and towards your ear.
No A.R.?
the only thing i cared about was the sound of em... and you didnt touch on it at all. i had the bose and the bone conduction in those was horrendous.
Bose has no bone conduction you dumbass.
What size were they? Med or large?
I got it in medium 👍
What size did you get? Sm or L?
SM 👍
@@T3CHUP thank you!!
Does it have heads up display?
No it does not.
Does it have a camera ?
No, it doesn’t.
I'm sure you'll add a better review in the future, but we'll put that to the side for now.
Imma buy it bc why not
Companies keep trying to copy the Tony Stark Glasses 😂 watch Apple be the closest tho 🤔
Soooo, they're just headphones?
Yup, if I were to describe them in several words. I’d honestly say they’re a pair of wireless headset glasses 👍
The bigger box looks used...
Is this a pair of smart glasses you're interested in?
The sides are bulky and ugly though what they can do is impressive thougg
Where’s the charger for it?
5:37 I mentioned it in the video.
Did anyone in the comment section even watch the video? It's full of people asking about things he showed in the video lmao
My husband bought 2 pairs of their 'smart glasses' and within 2 weeks, the right arm came off. Razer told me that this was due to abuse. The connection of the arm to the frame is plastic and poorly designed. I have put script lens in both pair and now Razer refuses to repair the arm assembly. I have full documentation and pictures of their 'wonderful' support. Buyer Beware!
Bro your audio quality could be better, I guess.
Maybe needs foam? Sound engineers what you got?
swimming goggles
😂
You should have just cut to the chase and said these are cheap glasses that have built in earphones.
Lil Michelin reviews
They look so awkward from the front view;
I'm not keen on this look. I think it'll look hideous on me.
So they're just speaker frames... not smart glasses
Any device that can connect to the internet is a smart device, aka IoT (Internet of Things)
But now they are on sale on woot for 25$
They make you look like a minion from despicable me
😂
What's the point of these? apart from blocking blue light there isn't really much use to these, who wants to walk around talking on the phone with little speakers in you glasses so everyone can hear your conversations...
Its getting silly now how everything is classed as smart but then doesn't actually do anything smart.
And who the hell is going to use these for gaming and use the silly little speakers.
Anyone who games properly will have a decent headset and proper mic.
Seriously... what is the point?
I'm not sure are these smart glasses? I think he mentioned that they are smart glasses. I think he should mention about 200 more times that they are smart glasses so we know that they are smart glasses.
intro and misc = 75% body and conclusion = 25% .....
Wtf, who would wear them as normal glasses!?
I would
Why do I feel like this dude is being held hostage and reading off of cue cards. Bring some personality to the video.
Lol this was my first yt video. 😅
Ok these are not smart glasses. This is wireless earbuds hidden in a pair of glasses. Companies need to stop wasting our time with this bullshit, we want Augmented Reality not bullshit audio gear
