This song deals with my tendency to compare myself to other people on social media and end up feeling miserable. Writing the song helped me do something with those emotions, and I'm so happy with how it turned out!

this is my anthem. i am always comparing myself to others and it’s draining. this song is so well put together and i’m so glad i can listen to something to input my emotions to. it’s relatable yet original and the composition is so well made. this is amazing!!
This is so nice to hear! It’s a lot like how I feel about writing it / performing it… it’s an outlet for those emotions. It’s a theme that doesn’t get talked about a lot!

How is it that you managed to capture my bipolar in such a whimsical and accurate way ???? It’s so tiring to go through this cycle of mania and depression, I feel so good about myself only for my mental health to take a dive and I start loathing myself until it’s hard for me to even get up in the morning. It’s literally like having a shoulder angel and a shoulder demon fighting for who should have influence over my decisions
That is so tough!! I don’t have bipolar but I do have various other mental health issues, and this is a song I wrote at the suggestion of my therapist… It doesn’t necessarily make the hard times easier, but it feels satisfying to have done something creative with those emotions. I’m glad you have your emotional support dove, and hopefully other support as well!
