If there’s more baking soda and not flattened I find it more airy and lighter crunch ☺️
to all the people who dont have baking soda and have baking powder just use thrice the amount of backing powder then baking soda so like 3-4 pinches of baking powder, hope this helps :)

Hmmm I think too much baking soda might make it bitter but not sure why salty though 🤔
Maybe you didn’t wash your pan enough when you made it? Sometimes the leftover food fragrance and particles can make other food taste like that.

honestly if you bake whatsoever you should have baking soda and powder on hand! but if you dont thats fine lol

How can we clean the pan after that?
I asked a lot, but no one answered me, but I know you always answer comments, so I asked you. 💗
the sugar hardens so you can pour water into the pan and heat on the stove, the sugar will dissolve into the water and will be easy to clean after you pour it out! or you can soak the pan in hot water and the sugar will slowly soften and dissolve!

just gotta be careful when cooking the sugar! remove back and fourth from the heat to control it and your actions have to be quick as the sugar burns quickly once it caramelizes

I ate at K-Chicken and did the Dalgona challenge, it was harder than it looked (since I had a wooden toothpick) AND THEN I BROKE IT

Oh no 🥺 might need to turn the heat lower or remember to remove from heat occasionally! After you add baking soda and u heat it for too long it burns more easily
