So many people on tik tok make it seem like it is so easy to start with Amazon.. But I find that to be misleading. It does definitely consist of extensive hard work. I just started literally yesterday and I have not listed a product yet. I am trying to conduct thorough research so I go into the business knowing as much as I can. What Amazon offers for “training” is not helpful at all. Everyday is a learning experience and yes you definitely have to put in the time and effort, but it is worth it. Thanks again.

Everyone really needs to hear what Nikki is saying. Forget what people are claiming to be earning because it’s probably not true. Like Nikki states, just because you’re selling 10k a month doesn’t mean you’re making a boat load of $$$$. This business is a grind and something that you just want to scream at. Plus, when you have customers trying to get stuff for free, it makes it even tougher. Stay strong and focused and you’ll start seeing results.

Applied to sell on May 27th. Got my address verification in the mail June 2 and was approved later that day! Took me a while for a display name and all the horror stories of people having issues getting approved made me scared, but I did it right the first time and now can start selling. Took me until today to get brave enough to try scanning, but I overcame it haha. So excited and feel confident I can be successful. Thank you Nikki Kirk for your inspiration and belief in others!
I just got verified july 27th and all them stories had me a little worried as well but I got verified pretty easily only had one little hick up the scan of my ID was apparently a little blurry for them but I'm so excited to get started!
Nothing easy about this life lol I work my ass off just doing yard sales and thrifting. i spent 14 hours on my day off from my job cleaning , photos and listing on ebay. This is allowing me to get my money up to file an LLC and have Amazon funds. When I get ungated it will be another step forward. I do not take any money for myself it goes to printers, shipping supplies and shelving etc. I will be so ready for Q4! I work 35 hours at a normal job and another 35 on reselling. On top of that, I somehow find time to watch videos to learn more.
My first three weeks product sells sold over $1000. (Hope I said that right). I did well because I watched your videos and dove in. Speaking of reserves: yes I huge lump of my “Profits” went into reserve. I’m ok with that. It’s a marathon and not a sprint. It’s so much work (I work a regular full time job too), but I love this. I work on my days off and when I get home. Not trying to get rich but to supplement my retirement in a couple years. Gotta have goals right? I’ve made a couple mistakes but like you said, “We learn from them.” BTW I’m going on my 4th week and have my fourth shipment FBA going in. I’m excited. Thank you Nikki.

Because your items have to sell before the money is there then they have to ship to the customer and then you get it “available” 7 days after delivery. So it adds up time wise. Then Amazon holds back money to cover any charge back and returns. I have a full video on it. Congrats on starting!
All the research I did and not one person said anything about sales velocity reserve. A good thing to have but sucks. For those that are reading and new. That’s when you sell stuff so fast that Amazon holds your money back for returns. There’s no set dates on release. Amazon, the great Oz, decides based on your metrics.

Before I purchase I was wondering if making accounts with to get invoices with reputable distributors that you use requires an LLC, or business banking account set up. I have been selling for 4 years and because it works and is great I was talking about it on my Instagram and to friends and family. About two years ago people started to ask how to get started and what to buy etc, I created things to help sellers based on what people were asking for. I don’t charge a lot of money because that’s not why I made them. There are actually not many people teaching it. Not everyone likes or wants to help others they focus on their business. I enjoy helping people by nature but going sourcing will always be the best part of what I do. It’s not stressful, I don’t have sellers asking me for help or writing comments like this, it’s just me and my app looking for profitable products and out of everything I do, it is the most enjoyable.

I hit 10k in sales last month, but I just feel like I'm in the circle of paying my credit card off with my Amazon money and not seeing any gains myself
It’s the summer slow down right now but I wools just keep scanning, keep sending in inventory because back to school and Q4 are so close now it’s worth it.
@@theunxxpected such a good point because sales don’t reflect income which is what I was saying here. Keep sending in and making sure you have the profit buffer high enough to factor in any price drops etc, you got this!

You can get ungated whenever you’re ready to. There isn’t a time limit needed in your account or anything

I hit 10k in sales last month, but I just feel like I'm in the circle of paying my credit card off with my Amazon money and not seeing any gains myself
It’s the summer slow down right now but I wools just keep scanning, keep sending in inventory because back to school and Q4 are so close now it’s worth it.
@@theunxxpected such a good point because sales don’t reflect income which is what I was saying here. Keep sending in and making sure you have the profit buffer high enough to factor in any price drops etc, you got this!
