What would the wii shop channel theme sound like if it was released in the 50’s? Well, wonder no more! In the era of dishwashing soap commercials, this would definitely fit right in!
No idea why I decided to orchestrate this together, but here you go! Something fun for your ears!
I created the vintage sound by eq'ing all the frequencies together and making them very lofi. I then added a vinyl sound effect over the top and viola! Instant vintage sound.

I was listening to this in the same room as my mom (who was born in the 50's) and she said it sounded like a commercial for candy that used to play during her youth. So you're pretty spot on lol 😂

Hi there! I was hoping you could do your own version of Star Fox Assault's Heroes of Old? Problem is, there was never a released version of it in the soundtrack, and the closest that there has been of it is an edited rip off cutscenes, which still preserved a lot of background sounds, and some quality loss. I've been looking for a long time for someone that could pull this off, and the ones that could have said thanks but no thanks. You're our last hope, mate.

Oh, that'd be so amazing that I'd scream so loud I couldn't hear the awesome music that's being played.
This is sick! I got a big smile on my face just from reading the title because I thought it was such a clever concept! So many times people gravitate towards rock or orchestral re-arrangements of video game music, but this is really creative! I would LOVE to see a whole series of 50s vintage arrangements of classic video game tunes.

damn the 50's sound is really well captured on this. Props on that. Also, how would you define the "50's style"? Is it the walking bass, the mono strings or something else which makes the signature sound?
Thank you! That is a great question, I tend to describe it as the instrumentation style and the way it sounds. I found that a lot of the retro commercial music out there now have that mono sound to them. Not to mention, the mid / higher frequencies are more prominent / rough sounding. Hope this helps!
