Just saw this twice a week ago at Universal. Such an action-packed performance. So much energy. The poor stunt man fighting Helen gets beat up so much! The plane! The fire! The violence! I NEVER get tired of this show. And SO much better in real life. BTW your camera work following the action was excellent.

Their not traditional pirates, they are post apocalyptic "smokes." The ice caps have melted and flooded all continents world wide, so maybe a fresh pair of Nike's somehow washed it's way into the hands of a "pirate."
Amazing Preparation. For them to remember all those moves, action sequences and so on is amazing. Very cool!! you know how many takes that would have to happen in if it was a real movie.
There are 3 new highfalls in waterworld 2.0 : Sage's atoller killed by a gatling gun and fallen off the gate 5:50 Smoker#5 chases Helen then suddenly falls off the tower because he is unable to catch her when she starts to fly away 11:52 Mariner and Smoker#8 falls off the tower when they got blasted by Deacon's bertha right after the new fight scene between them 14:52
@@angelbryan98 Actors are not always the same there are 3 to 4 casts, the pay is great and as comes with the job there will always be scrapes and bruises but nothing serious
I was surprised to see that the boats are all manually driven and not on tracks under the water. I wonder how many times they miss there marks or have equipment failure. Seems way cooler than I thought even on video, must be pretty cool IRL.

When they were screaming, that's exactly what me and my family did when we were waiting for the show. That show was awesome but I wasn't in the green zone so I could barely feel water...
I admit this version is much better than the old one and its the same one as the water world in universal studios signapore as well if you see that video on youtube.Its the same
If you look to the left of the water tower, it looks like a crane arm. They actually use it every day to pick up the plane and set it back up for the next show.
Spencer Calderon the use a slingshot and when the plane hits the water it absorbs the water getting 80 extra pounds and stops in the same spot every time. To reset it which takes 30 minutes they attach the plane to a crane and pull it back into place draining the water in the process
the girl she amazing I took a picture with her beginning of the month and her other friends of the cast member I really like the show it was good and fun to watch
+Alex Forman The ramp on the other side catapults the plane out. The wings of the plane, if you look closely, are inverted, meaning it will drop like a rock the moment it takes off. There is nothing to stop the plane once it takes off; stopping it depends on gravity and motion. When the show is over, the plane is towed back into position for the next show. I used to work Waterworld in USH awhile back ^_^

20 years ago it was a Miami Vice themed show with a helicopter shot down by Tubbs and Crockett that crashed just behind the set in a big ball of fire. You could feel the heat from where you seated.
Yes it should be enough time. The park is actually not very big,not a great deal of attractions but still very fun. I recommend definitely doing the backlot studio tour earlier in the day as it does sometimes get crowded. That tour is a must do on your trip there haha. Have fun!
No. Not "American." Hollywood. That's what Hollywood is! Right? Kind of cool and unique! Other countries travel here to explore the movie studio / theme park.

This show keeps improving every time I go see it. They added more explosions and the cast is always good.
I remember seeing this as a kid. One of the most amazing performances that has stuck with me. Especially when the plane comes through.
Even after almost 20 years it still looks exciting and fun! Kudos to Universal Studios for keeping it open for this long.
