There's a 1350w versions that's 800ml, I can't for the life of me figure out what the difference between it and the 1500w model is. Does anyone know? Is it an older model?
I used to buy one of this kettle then return back to seller after few days testing. Major issues was I have doubt of material safety. The kettle Inner part stainless steel body isn’t designed as “one-body”. Between inside base n body there is barely noticed gap which one could slide in tissue into gap and there was black dirt stick on it. My guessing is dirt is maybe relates to outside coating of kettle(due to similar color). The reason I found out issue was due to kettle release kind of chemical smell every time after water boiled …. Which I never found similar problem on the other xiaomi kettle.
It could be you've received a faulty kettle or maybe a Gen 1. We have found Timemore to be reliable but being a new company I think their tolerences and designs weren't the best at the beginning. Having said that we have not encounter that particular issue on chemical smell from their kettle, but we do have customers that complain of the body not working and couldn't heat up within a couple months. But timemore was quick enough to send a replacement out for them.
I thought of this one for the price but ultimately settled on the Saki kettle for $100 since it was on sale.
That's awesome. I think the timemore is priced similarly too.
You ever have any issues with rust on the bottom of your Saki? Had mine for almost two months and already started to rust...
Great review, thanks
Thanks so much for taking the time to watch and leave a comment hope it helped out a little
I think you have the latest version of this kettle. It has a different lid than the earliest versions. It looks higher and better.
Interesting. Didn't know they had different version

I didn't know there were 2 different wattage level. It could be an older model.
Does the smart version of the kettle connects to the timemore app?
No it doesn't. As far as I know there is no app for timemore.
