Question: How and why has Arielle not played the role of Elphaba yet?!
She’s apparently auditioned for the role previously then the producers felt she would be better as Nessa. In time I for sure think she will play the role 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I think it's because of her voice. Her voice suits Nessa since the actress who sang Nessa has the same voice texture? as Arielle. But I also think her range would have some difficulty with Elphaba's notes. Idina started it so high thus producers, I think,wanted somebody with more or less the same range as Idina's.

Everyone should listen to her entire one woman show on Spotify. Her story is so incredible and she picks the best songs to match the mood of each stage of her life. So much respect for her as a person and for and her undeniable talent.

OMG her high note at the end sounded like Christina Grimmie. I so miss hearing Christina Grimmie's voice.
