Thanks for watching!
Those thick screwdowns are great. I've always been a fan. Honestly, in my opinion, the better the card, the thicker the screwdown should be. 52 Topps Mantle needs to be sandwiched between two slabs of five-foot-thick plastic. Its high class collecting.
I strongly agree! 😁 💎😎💎
But make the plastic the darkest black possible to protect the card from sunlight
I thought screw down slabs mess your cards up in the long term. There's lots of people that say when you go to get them graded a majority of them come back altered or does not meet the size requirements or something around those lines
@@Firecracker321g I’m pretty sure everyone in this thread is joking.
@Wax Pack oh right on never knew that ty
I still can’t believe you got all those great vintage cards for $1200 holly molly you can make a huge score on this lot, wow!!
That '72 Joe Torre looks like a creature from a horror flick. Or maybe he's just got the Dennis Cook demon in him!
Holy smokes! What a collection! Although I'm not sure I can sleep without a light on after seeing the Don Mossi.
My eyes started to water up while whatching you flip through that first binder of all the 60’s cards my friend and i had the 66 and 67’s in uncut sheets and cut them out and flipped them and put them on bike spokes the good old days wish i had them still
It is hard for me to sit here and watch this as my jealousy grows by every page that you flip! What a great collection!
This collection is nuts. I gotta say im jealous! Congratulations on this gem!!! Thank you for the videos.
$1,200?! Dream find! Congrats man!
You got an amazing deal .....favorite card would definitely be the 1958 al kaline it was a card my dad had gotten for me for my 10th birthday and I am now 43 , dad is gone and unfortunately so is the kaline .......but what a great collection
Awesome collection, I would have so much fun going through all this! Another great TPIA video
amazing collection of vintage...great buy for sure. This will keep you busy for a while...(like you don't have enough to do! LOL) Congrats on the buy!
It's so easy to know that Ernie Banks said.."Let's play two!".....He was always so happy in every photo of him.
Great deal on the price paid thanks for the memories
Power on every page! I love it.
So much fun to see all those classic cards. Thanks for turning pages.
Very nice for 1200 bucks. Thanks for posting!
$1200 is a great deal just for the vintage alone in my opinion. Nice score!!
Fantastic vintage collection!! 😮😀
Old Football cards look soooooo nice. That design is special.
Such a fantastic collection. Unbelievable for just $1200! Congrats Jon
Great Uecker! That is awesome vintage collection. So many HOF. Yeah. You got a gvery good deal, going to have to keep the shop open after the New Years to make great money on those cards.
This was the dream , if you build it, they will come.. finally the collection comes in that is a gold mine, not a pillowcase full of loose junk wax. Congratulations man
Wow, what a great buy. That Clemente Aaron Mays leaders card is one of my favorite cards of all time
Awesome 🤩 pick up! Great vintage
The binder of card's you have on this video is awesome. I have some of the 70's baseball cards.
Awesome collection buy!! The 2 binders alone, I’m hoping covered the cost of the entire collection. 😎👍🏼
1200 is a great deal. I collect but set up a table at a local card show to display and buy. Always crazy what people have just sitting in attics etc. when I die I’m sure my kids will just dump years of collecting for a few thousand dollars and someone will get a steal
That Clemente with the yellow background is my favorite one the card itself just looks so clean and traditional
These cards are AMAZING! Love your videos! ❤️🇺🇸
Much appreciated!
What a great find!! That’s awesome!!
Exquisite top of the line stuff here, WOW..... Love the '57 Banks (!) nice Billy Martin too. The ones at the start in those 1-inch thick screw-down cases were my favorite. Wonder why this person (or how) they got rid of this! $1200??? Add another zero and that's probably what this is worth!
What an awesome vintage collection, great find!
Wow! You got a great deal! Unbelievable
1200? Wow. You cleaned up.
Happy belated Birthday to my favorite RUclipsr that shares my birthday!
Thanks!
That collection is outstanding!!!!
love the tony conigliaro rookie. his story is a real heart breaker. had one of the best teenage seasons in major league history and then almost died getting beaned in the head at 22 and it ruined the rest of his career and took the vision in one of his eyes. he would have been an all time great in my opinion. he never got right after that injury and passed away at 45. hit .363 in the minors at 17.
Being from New England, he is one of my favorites. I am on a quest to obtain all of his cards. Missing 2
Great buy, those binders are very nice.
Absolutely a great deal no doubt about it great score awesome collection.
Fantastic find! Love this haul. Congratulations.
Collection looks great. 1968 Ed Brinkman (yellow team name) is a fairly rare variation I believe!
Nice pick up. The binders were awesome
I am more than just a little bit jealous as I see the cards this collection is loaded with. I am just waiting for someone to come to me with something like this, but nothing as of yet, lol. Amazing, simply amazing, find.
Are you going to open those screwdowns or sell/store them as is? Screwdowns always make me nervous. Pretty sweet collection!
15:36 The Mc Covey Washington National League is not an error. There was talk that the Padres would be purchased and moved to Washington. A team name had not been selected so it was just listed as "Nat'l Lea" (National League) Of course the deal fell through.
best condition and best cards ever seen great deal you hit a homerun with these cards
I did not think you were going to say what you paid. I thought it was about $3,000. That was a really good deal.
Love all the Brooks, Boog, and Frank Robinson
Great pickup. I love old vintage cards
Wow what a collection! I would really like to put all those Cleveland cards In my PC!! Thanks for sharing Jon!
Very nice pick up. Thank you for sharing.
Jon, in the album with the 1969's, you have both variations of the Donn Clendenon card, one is the Expos, the other is Houston
That binder had alot of really nice cards...need to be put in top loaders...I'd be so nervous taking them out of the pages...good luck
Wow! You must be about to retire! 😉 That’s an impressive collection.
Very very nice
What can I say just wow!! Are any going to be for sale I would be interested in some,I also do eBay would you be auctioning them, I don’t really bid on line just eBay.great pick up Jon!! Thanks for sharing
Did you say $1200 wow dude!!!
Man! That '60 Hank is PRIMO!💯💯💯
I still have my 59 Topps Clemente in a screw down case lol
That's a really sweet collection.
Wow that’s a great collection and to say you got a great deal would be an understatement but like you mentioned that you didn’t see any Mantles I couldn’t help but notice there weren’t any Mike Schmidt’s when you got to 73 on up but regardless congratulations on a great find and hopefully we get a part 2 soon..Thanks and stay safe my man..
you probably know but be careful with the screwdowns, if they were in there too long too tight thell stick to the holder on the corners. heat up with hair dryer before removing cards without sleeves
Amazing pick up. Get them graded? Loved seeing the Brooks and Frank Robinson's and Eddie Murray rookie. I sold a Murray that was in a screw down to Cory. Open the cellos on your channel?
Great score man. This is the good stuff for sure
wow.... jackpot is right! awesome as always T.P.I.A
Freakin awesome find! 👍👍👍
You certainly didn't over pay Jon. Nice looking binders for the most part.
I don't live that far from Greensburg.I think I'm paying you visit soon.Nice stuff!
Great buy for 1200. Cant wait to see the rest .
Great collection.
good pickup.......you selling any of these.....interested in your 60`s and 69s.....do you ship to canada
You got a Goood deal. If you don’t want those vintage binders I can take them off your hands
What a collection!!!!
Great deal... I had 1K in the back of my mind as a good buy, every collection that I bought back in the day I made sure that I was always super safe with my bid or offer so I wouldn't get hurt ! You did very well with this...
It would be different if they were binders of 80's - 90's and newer cards & inserts but you have dozens of pre 70's HOF'ers (lots of gems) + cards & items we haven't seen yet 👀
I'll take the whole lot for 1700.00 that will give you a 500 dollar quick flip....
I didn't think so, you'll do double that plus selling them at the store and on ebay !
It's always nice to have old cards for sale instead of the same new crap everyone has...
Have a case loaded with old classic HOF'ers ! It should do very well 🙂
Can't wait for a look at the rest... thank you for the video
So when is the auction ?
I use to date Rennie Stinnetts niece. Him Felipe and Matty Alou Juan Marichal Luis Aparicio Orlando Cepada Rod Carew others we played ball in the early 90's . They all had the big binders with multiple pages of each of their cards
I saw you show a pinnacle mint coin. You mentioned not having the accompanying card. Well, I have man football and baseball coins still in the same condition as when I first bought them. By the way, I tried emailing you, but I don't think it went through. How can I find out?
Super Cards !!! Super Deal !!!!!!!!!!!
The middle 1965 Rookie Stars 282 Dick Estelle & Masanori Murakami is $10. Nice one.
What an amazing collection! Great pickup!
Very nice.
Still can’t believe this collection!
Amazing stuff Jon! Only $1,200???Nice score!
Those binders must have been in a hot attic in the summer, the pages look like Shrinky Dinks
I have a couple of the in 50's cards, but their condition is not as well taken care of as yours are. However, my later cards are on many cases of gradeable condition.
Nice score for $1200.
I'd eat my beard just to have the opportunity to buy a vintage collection this loaded....
Great find
I really enjoy these type of video
Does he send his top vintage cards to PSA for grading? I never hear him talking about it
My fave were all the Ernie banks and Roberto Clemente and Bob Gibson
Bro you and your brother keep coming up on the coolest cards ever. There ain't anything or any type of deals over here in northern California. And the prices you get them for is nothing less than amazing. I would meet a similar guy with a deal but our here guy gonna say prices like they are all psa tens. I say you don't get psa 10 prices untill you come with the actual psa 10s. Not your interpretation of them. Seriously. You got the same type of characters out there where you guys are at? Lol.
I bought a 1970 sporting news Hank Aaron card in 2002 for 9 dollars, mint condition. I wonder what it's worth today
How much for all the McCovey's? Im not on facebook.
some cool cards for sure, gratz on the pick ups. too bad no real Mantle cards. other than the leaders cards.
If you still have the Dusty baker, don baylor rookie card, I need it and would buy from you?..
Nice collection, wow where do you find these great deals ?
These were brought into my store before it closed down at the end of the year.
8:16 Donn Clendenon Expos and Houston Cards. 8:21 Aurelio Rodriguez / Leonard Garcia "Batboy card"
Great collection!!!
Sweet cards.
