I definitely wonder if it was a reprint. It wouldn't make sense that he would have the Heritage priced at $70 and the update which is the bigger card at $10. Either way, great score on the gloves and the cards. Can never go wrong with vintage Mays.
The Roberto Clemente rookie(I believe )in the thumbnail I traded my boy for the O.J. rookie. At times I regret it but what I got in return was on my wishlist. Definitely missed a good card.
You cheated yourself 13:50. The price for the card lot he gave was $60, which included the $45 Carr card, which he stated he wanted the $45 price for it. So without the Carr card, the remaining cards would be $15 before any discount. But you offered $20, and hence he immediately was like "uh yea! oh yea!" You must take this as a learning experience my young Padawan.
Yeah I actaully realized I messed that up at the time. Sometimes you get more of a discount when you buy more, so removing the Carr wouldn't necessarily drop the price to $15, however I think the 3 cards were $1 each and the Mays was $15 so I paid more than asking anyway - doh!
I bet it’s a blast going to these as often as you do! Good gets!
Thanks man - yeah I look forward to them - go twice a week
watching you pass on the clemente was tough for me to watch haha
@@shaynetheprophet3417 thanks for watching- I don’t remember seeing a Clemente but I’ll have to rewatch
Really fun finds!
Thank you very much for watching Sammy!
Title text here just past the 8 minute mark got me laughing 😂
Doh!!!! Lol - first time I’ve made that mistake
Good thing the Rams came back to LA 😂😂😂 makes those auto medallions valid again.
Lol - true - definitely an easier sell - thanks for watching
Hey Keith. Nice pickup on the stuff. Gloves came out nice...👍👌👊💪
Thanks @papapunching - yeah the gloves shined up nicely - thank you for watching!
That’s a nice pair of mitts you got
Heck yeah!
Ahhh...you went right by a Trout update RC and a Trout Heritage RC as well!!!
Yeah someone else mentioned that too - not sure how I did that to be honest - thanks for watching

@@jasonlord7203 thank you - yeah I love the gloves and I sold the mays on my Whatnot
Steve Smith Topps RC.
if that mike trout on 12:16 is a real rookie card and not a reprint for $10, thats a steal of a lifetime.
@@shaynetheprophet3417 yeah I don’t think I looked at it closely - didn’t notice it at the time but admittedly don’t know that stuff well

Thanks for watching. The OJ rookie was a classic card when I was a kid too so I get that trade.
Was that a 2011 Mike Trout Update RC at 12:16?
It looks like you might be right - not sure if I didn't notice that when I was looking through - Good eye! thanks for watching
@@vintagesportflips Well if it was and not a reprint (which I think it is , that was a big score lol.
Have you ever seen an vintage glove with a logo that is like the letter E inside a circle with an arrow through it?
No that logo doesn’t sound like anything I’m familiar with unfortunately
What type of oil do you use to bring those gloves back to life? They look fantastic.
I use a leather cleaner / conditioner- I’ll need to check the name
@@vintagesportflips Thank you.
I think that guy would have taken $20 for both gloves.
Yeah I probably could gotten a discount but I’ll make good money on them so just paid his asking
Keith are you setting up at the national this year?
Yes I'll be there - in booth 342 or 344
