Scorched was the best DLC by far, so maybe no one wants to exit from there haha
I mean it makes sense lore wise. Like on the island and aberration you fight the overseers of the arks and ascend that way (Rockwell wired himself into the Ark after it was desperate for a new overseer). Extinction you practically win life and speak to Helena. Genesis you exit the simulation. I don’t know about Genesis part 2 though. Scorched you just beat the manticore, you never fight the overseer

Best creature for boss fight, Reaper, they are Tanki, will only receive low damage, Ex 23 damage per hit depend on your dino damage setting, get impregnant by a reaper Queen and just raise them, and do it again, also have reaper pheromones to raise them and boom you got yourself a reaper army, do look out for weakness that reapers have, bleeding damage and charge light, Good luck.

What I think would be a good ascension scene for scorched would be this: after killing the manticore, you see yourself walking into the colosseum and up to the ARK’s console. You try to figure out how it works when you look behind you and see a wyvern flying towards you. You quickly slam your fists on the console and get transported to abberation

I recently ascended the island on official and that felt good looking at my default implant one last time

good that the character voices are actually set big, but the game sounds aren't, that's why we heard HLNA saying the F word closely
I recently got to experience all these ascensions for the first time... over the course of months, playing with my best friend, and I tell you... Aberration, and Extinction. Def my top fave ascensions! They always manage to bring a tear to my eye just based on how BEAUTIFUL they are and how EPIC they look/are! I recently got to finally start Part 2 of Genesis for the first time and I'm loving it!
ARK is such a beautiful game! On the surface, you only see a primitive looking survival game, but it is SO much more! The lore that's been built, not only in the cut scenes, but in the notes we find on each map is so well documented! It's incredible to see where this game has gone since 2015. I love it so much!

I was a little upset when genesis came out because extinction felt like a good place to end the story but the credit scene of the ascension of Rockwell saying I’m Coming For You just meant that another dlc had to come out
I love that we got to see the island on the extinction ascension
Some of these are emotional
the island has the classic ark soundtrack, aberration has a sort of alien feel to it, and extinction has a sort of victorious feel to it. it’s a shame scorched earth never got one
Only if the maps released actually looked half way the same as they show when arriving in cutscenes
Extinction is earth and earth axis has stopped spinning in the lore so I guess that could be that opposite side of earth as extinction is obviously not the entire earth

The first Ascension is my fav just the concept pulls it together and the music makes it better. It’s like you were abducted by aliens put on a new “world” to survive and in the cinematic you see the Earth and how we fucked it up and the moons remaining parts on the side. And you realize you are going home.
That’s what I think happened,
Imagine if wildcard were to make a spinoff set in the ARK universe with a clear plot...

I realized that, when you ascend, you leave all your dinosaurs, your companions throughout your ARK story. Your companions think your coming back... when in reality, your making new memories with new dinosaurs

But after listening to Helena's diary entrys, and how much she liked the sunrises on the Ark...it hits different ngl

Someone else noticed that at minute 7:28 the survivor has the implant in his left arm and it is assumed that genesis is after extinction
