I had my HTC one m9 for 2 days and then the screen wouldn't turn on. I've had my HTC one m7 for two years and it works as good as when I first got it.

The rest of the comments are shit and complaining on toshiba sensors is lack of knowledge in image processing.
Get a samsung phone, take "good" photos, deal with framerate drops in everyday use, and shut the hell up.
Anyway, the toshiba sensor is not the problem, because even lumia cameras have it. The problem is only in the processing software, the rest I think snap810+fullhd display+android M + sense = best phone ever.
It lacks on fingerprint sensor but personally I don't care about it that much.

I seriously wanna get a M9. Sense is the best. I love to customize. I love gaming. I love watching videos and doing more. M9's got 3 GB of RAM. I'm satisfied. So what about the Camera, I take occasional photos of things like nature and sunset etc.(sometimes overstating and understating a photo especially sunset actually makes it look soooo much cooler). If I wanna be a professional photographer(which is unlikely) i'll go n buy a Canon. And oh, i almost forgot for all you losers who are compaining about the build quality, get a life HTC One M9 is sexy by looks and in your palm.

Lol, i knew u were, i was just making a a general statement to all those who hate the M9 under your statement.
everyone is hating on the rear camrea... this is sad, use it before you say something and if you have used it... it's not horrible if you want a good camera for good photos go buy a DSLR a phone camera is used to capture the moment and be able to show your friend what you did. I mean what else are use it for making a movie?

Htc should have it where the power button is a fingerprint scanner. Personally I don't like the fingerprint scanner on the m9 plus bc it makes it taller and it doesn't fit the phones look. For the m10, htc should have the power button on the right side with the volume buttons but it's not really a button that you press. Make it look like the Galaxy s health scanner. I think that would give htc a push up the phone ladder.
The phone sure looks really good.
But with a camera that's so far behind the competition it's hard to justify buying it.
They really really need to put all of their work into the camera for the m10

Honestly the m9 had no point, it should be like an m8i or something to show simply retry of same phone, then the m9+ should be m9 with a market wide help.
I so much want this very good phone, but this price. :(
Im sorry guys, but tbh the M9+ does feel like it has a lot of compromises :( (but hey, i still LOVE my M8, and would recommend anyone get one)
The finger scanner location, the stuck out camera, the TOSHIBA CAMERA (WTF GUYS), the sharp edges, etc. etc. etc.
Well it doesn't help when they massively screw up the one component that the M9 desperately needed (a good camera) :P
***** Not really, Id rather have a camera capable of taking good shots (albeit at a very low resolution) than have a shit overall camera that, despite its size, still cant capture sharp images.
I've compared both cameras, and on average the M8 has taken much better shots. I'm not biased just because I own an M8 (wtf?). Just because the sensor is only 4 MP in resolution, doesn't mean it's a complete shit camera. It just means you can't really zoom in too far. On the other hand, the M9 not only takes very shitty looking shots (and isn't even comparable in lowlight), but as I mentioned earlier, it still takes blurry shots.
Have you ever actually taken a photo with the M8? Yes, as I said time and time again, it lacks detail. That is a bad thing. But compared to the garbage sensor on the M9, the M8 takes far better shots on average (and especially in lowlight).
Why don't choose Apple instead of HTC come on be a man like this Yo!!!!!! Apple is great we have IPhone IPad iPod Imac Apple watch and more this doesn't build tablet and everything I choose Apple because of what Apple done I will make Steve jobs proud and find out more about you HTC
