In the 1st interview she replied to the detective "No I didn't call 911 again because my phone was in the kitchen, and that was too near to the front door." ....later...where was your phone, where did you find it?..."It was in the computer room"....2nd interview I couldn't find my phone. 2. Her stalking, videoing the children right up the fatal shooting, did not show the children outside or on her property ...last time stamp 8.53pm. It also didn't show them shouting and screaming. So her 1st 911 call at 8.54 to 8.59pm was a Big Lie. 3. 1st interview the door had extended deadbolts....the 2nd - I was in fear, the door was damaged the deadbolts weren't locked. 4. The TWO Guns....she purchased 2 guns within months of the shooting. She also CHOSE which one to use at that fatal time. She then put the SELECTED gun of choice back, but UNDER the other gun.... 5. She researched terminology of Stand Your Ground Reasonings/Defence prior to the shooting. 6. She admitted to the victim that she did call the Victim's boys Slaves, and apologised....but when further questioned about this, she claimed she apologised just to diffuse the situation..... 7. The LETTER to the Victim's Children regarding their tragic life changing loss.....well the so called letter/note spoke volumes. I hope they decided not to read that to tge children. 8. The time from her 1st call which ended 8.59pm to the 2nd call at 9.01pm...she managed managed to listen to the victim, tell the victim to go away, wait until the second pounding on the door, scramble around to find her phone, which she couldn't find, go into her bedroom, rummage in her Trash bin where she kept the 2 guns and paperwork. Then select which gun she wanted to use, come back into the Kitchen...remember she already said she DIDN'T want to go into the kitchen to find the phone because it was too near the front door!... position herself, take aim with both hands and shoot at chest level through the door... To me, in my own opinion she planned this for some time, and set the victim up with a serious reason for her to come to her apartment....the racial slurs, the tablet, the skates...any parent would want to confront her. I will also suspect that she was watching the Victim walk over to her door, as she was watching and filming all the children up to the 911 call...she even said she was still watching them on that call. Yep it was a cold set up, but obviously that's not on the table it's just the probable cause for Defence. But as the 2nd Detective kept saying the Leap from only having 2 or 3 conversations with the victim to the Fatal Shooting does not add up...... Justice for Ajike Owens and Family 🦋💙⚖️

How can you look up stand your ground law after you fired the gun. This is a sad case, because I know the victim personally. They just need to find her guilty. The tapes didn't help her case at all. Fabulous analysis. I popped in on the trial not knowing the background and by the end of the breakdown of all the previous 911 calls I had decided this was a hate crime. She targeted this family. Hearing all the other details.......the final two 911 calls.........that just sealed it in. I feel for the whole of that family impacted by such a dark hate. Listening to those kids learn they had lost their mom, that tears at the soul.
Just think how different things would have turned out if Susan would have shown kindness. AJ was a single mom so you know she would have welcomed help. Im sure the kids would have welcomed a "grandmother " type person living there.

The corker is the fact that she knew the police were on there way. That she felt justified in lobbing shit at a kid, enough to call the cops on her behalf, that is a big tell. She spent nearly 5 minutes on the phone with 911, and in the span of about 7 minutes made two 911 calls. The statement of the pounding being 10 minutes at least.......proved false by her own recorded 911 calls. Instead of moving somewhere that is guaranteed to have no kids, she decided to make it her job to ensure that the kids were neither seen nor heard. If this hadn't happened then, it was going to happen and she was going to do something else to make it unfold in the same tragic way.

This might sound discriminatory but older people should really live in a senior citizen community so they don't have to deal with children since they are nuisance to them.
Most senior housing communities begin at age 62 unless they are 55 and disabled. So Susan would not have been eligible if she wasn't receiving a SSI check or declared disabled by a doctor per HUD's definition of disabled. I work for HUD, specifically with elderly and disabled!
