Sling Mods has an excellent 3 piece tour pack and saddlebag set. Comes with wiring that adds brake lights, and nighttime running lights. A must have for touring on your Ryker.
Green Acres! I had the misfortune of driving through Manhattan 2 weeks ago. 3:10 min to go 3 miles and I sat through 30 green lights without moving! Yeah, you can keep Manhatten just give me that countryside!
When I had my 900 Ryker (not Rally), I road all over. I had after market bags and a rack added ( I don't travel as light as you!). Touring on the Ryker is all about your desire to tour. Now on my F3 it's much more comfortable!
Green acres is the place to be... there are gorgeous places in the small towns of the south. I live in the foothills near Lincolnton nc now, having left Charlotte in the mirror. love small town nc.
You definitely have your priorities in order for a successful ride: Good food, friends/family lots of gasoline and plenty of time!!! Thanks for sharing. Of course we missed CV. 😎
Thanks for a great video considering a Can-Am Ryker 600 myself I utilize a wheelchair for my mobility so I have to figure out how to make that work. I’m sure I can figure something out. The Ryker just seems like an amazing piece of equipment for a reasonable amount of money.
Dear Coach Bob, I enjoyed the video so much. It looks like you had a great ride. Oh I do so look to the day when I can do the same. I will be praying for your sister as well as the rest of your family. God bless you.
I took my three wheel class to get my license on a Ryker. It was a lot of fun. Talking about engine heat, I have a 22 RTL and I don’t feel any heat from the engine. It was a treat to ride along with you this morning.
Great video...I have a Spyder F3 limited and my husband just got a Ryker Sport. We do love riding and will do anywhere from 150 miles to 400 miles in a day. Love the CanAm rides. Thanks for the videos
SHAVE???? I bathe but the razor stays home! After two weeks on the road, my own dog doesn't recognize me. An old Harley guy gave me some useful touring advice. He takes all his ragged underwear, socks, and T-shirts and throws them away after wearing them. No laundry, just a trip to Wally-Mart to restock them. Great video. Thanks for the ride along!
Great video my wife and I bought a 2016 rt limited about 6 months ago and have put 1000 local miles on it, getting ready to do some touring soon, I also have a nerve disease that makes walking difficult and the Spyder has made it possible for me to ride.
I've started wearing wicking shirts as my first layer when touring, they roll-up and are very compact when packing. Wear the Bohn Armour shirt over it, or an appropriate jacket for the weather. Another good video Coach. Hope your family is doing better.
Yep, perfectly fine to use as a light tourer to visit somebody 2 or 3 hours away but a long distance ride it is not. Think of a standard or UJM. That's about the wheelhouse for it. You can load it down with touring acoutrama but I would highly recommend going up to a Spyder with the limited package if you really want to eat miles.
Nice little rip CB3. I had almost talked myself into a F3 base model when BRP dropped it for 2024. With the cost increase on the F3S compared to the Rally, I'm really having to consider if I can justify the cost of the F3S over the Rally. Most of my riding would be local, so it'll probably be the Rally. We will see. I do like the shaft drive and dirt capability of the Rally. Decisions, decisions. God bless, Rob
My wife had a 22 Ryker, it was fun around town. It would beat you to death out on the highway, the wind noise was loud and you would feel every bump in the highway. She had put less than 900 miles on it in a year. She didn’t enjoy it at all. I rode it on the highway for 30 miles, while she rode my 22 RTL. She was hooked on the RTL I was ready to trade it off. We traded it for a new sea to sky Spyder 23 model. Any one that rides a Ryker out on the highway is tougher than me. Best of luck with the Ryker. Ride Safe too.
Hah! I see you're channeling your inner hippie by wearing those Berkies!😊 I was wondering about that Bohn armor shirt. You haven't worn it in awhile...howz tbat working out for you on your trip?
I love it! It has been performing very well. The shortcoming for me is that I like to wear it as an underlayment. which means when I go into restaurants I either look like Captain America (big shoulder pads), or I have to undress in the parking lot....which gets me a lot of attention and sometimes a few "catcalls". 😂😂😂😂
I have a side hard bag for my tools and my rain gear and jump pack , including a back wheel nut since no garage as this ( and emergency flash) since there is no emergency flasher on the Ryker. I love the sea bag idea, I will need to get them . today was the ride for DAD ( prostate cancer fund raiser) 125 miles a nice poker run included , Mostly HD 140of them , 2 ryker ( one was me) and a few spyders ...As usually love your video testing the ryker and all ( got lots a friends that do long 400-500 km long rides and they love it ). The gaz meter is off most of the time, but you get use to it, and yes I have the windshield ( brp) model and its great ...mine is not a rally, Alain & Yellow
Hi coach bob. I enjoyed watching the ride out on the Ryker. It had no issues in eating up the miles. I was wandering what watch you have as I think you mentioned it had a direction compass built in?
This was a great review and gave me more insight and information to consider twards my decision as to my choices on what bike I will buy. That was some really beautiful weather and scenery on that trip can’t wait till I’m doing that with my bike 💜💜💜
Were you using the ECO Mode, and if not how much of a difference would that have made in gas mileage do you think? Also, with an automatic transmission in a car, the engine RPM's drop when you reach your cruising speed. I take it that this type of automatic transmission does not?
Green acres great content I am thinking about buying one of these riker rallies I thought that bike would be an absolute pushover by what you're doing is nothing short of what UFOs can do truly amazing
Hilarious Coach Bob. I actually live where Green Acres is supposed to be. I wonder if you compared the answer to your question in relationship to the demographics that ride a Spyder vs Ryker how skewed it would be? Thanks for your hard work.
This video clinches it for me. One up touring is exactly what I'm looking for in the Ryker Rally. Lets go Spring 2024!
Single rider touring that is.
I’m down brother

Thanks ❤️

You answered all my questions about one up touring. Thanks Coach Bob

Thanks for going along!!!👍👍👍
Hey, how difficult was the three wheel motorcycle endorsement test? What did it involve if you don’t mind me asking?
@@mattm1686 it was pretty easy. You learn everything you need to know in the class.
Well, coach Bob, another one in the books. Great video. Maybe you should've got that soap. You could've watched up why it was raining.🤣🤣
LOL!!!! I am done with you Coach!!!! Using Green Acres references LOL!! Keep on keeping on sir!!
I admire you sir; thanks for the tour / info

Can recommend the Madstad Screen - very easy to fit and options to match the rider's height

Congratulations on the purchase of your Spyder!! It is great to see us folks riding again. The "pain struggle" is real.

Great video again thank you from New Zealand

Look at 2022 models I saved 4500 on a F3 Ltd it had only 59 miles on it.
Great information, glad you enjoyed the ride... Amazing your ear plugs were gonners 👍
Thanks

Atlanta area is nasty today. Lots of rain. Ride safe!
Hey coach Bob thank you so much for this video! Plus your advise in riding a ca-am Spyder as been helpful. They are great motorcycles. Ride safe
Glad to help!!! I appreciate you watching and taking your time to comment. 👍👍👍👍

I wear the Apple Ultra Expedition Watch. I love it.
Quitman looks like a beautiful town.
Greeeeen Acres
It's the place to be!!! 👍😎
@@CoachBob3Farm livin' is the life for me!
the slingmod ultimate seat and 3-piece luggage set would be great for the ryker touring.
Thank you, sir, for the video. Green Acres theme song.

I thought i saw on the Can-Am site, a side bag piece of luggage? But that would be useful, too. Green Acres is the place to be.
Heck yeah it'll tour.
👍👍👍
I’ve got a screen and also a Shad top box (UK) here…
Glad you found your earplugs. Watched the video and saw them come off and I thought they were goners. Someone upstairs was watching out for you.
Thanks for sharing some pretty green acres on your trip.
I’m off this morning for a MRI …
Good luck Ed!

Dang Bob, now you got me trying to figure out how to fit a Ryker in my garage next to my RTL. It’s just a death wish you planted in my brain…
Ha coach bob were you riding the speed limit and with mode did you travel in
Hooterville!
does the rally have cruise control? saw your hand off at 14:25 or so? LOL watch the whole video to get answers!
Love the video
Green acres great content I am thinking about buying one of these riker rallies I thought that bike would be an absolute pushover by what you're doing is nothing short of what UFOs can do truly amazing
But I can get a Ryker for $8900 so that’s awesome! Unfortunately can’t get an RT for that!
Love your video brother
Ah the joys of the Rykers fuel gauge lol. It’s the only thing I dislike about it.
Is yours the 600 twin or the 900 triple
May God, continue to bless and strengthen your sister in Jesus name Amen 🙏 I always enjoy your videos.
Sorry Bob, I have not been keeping up-to-date, but do you own a Ryker now?
It's a loaner.
Cool stuff coach..I ride a 22 F3SE6L in can am Red..its choice..I got the ultimate baja ron sway bar, back rest, an cup n phone holders so far..

I'm surprised you didn't get the small windshield at least..easy fix coach..an don't forget the baja ron ultimate sway bar
Green Acres
Showing your age. Green acres theme song.
lol... no way thats enough space for me, but maybe a difference in how a man can pack and how a woman can pack for touring.
Put clothes in ziplok bags
Green Acres
It is definitely...the place to be!!! Thanks for watching and commenting. 👍👍👍👍
