Thank you. I got my arlo pro 2 about 7 years ago and also bought solar panels for each differently so I don’t have to keep charging them. Three of them are at 100% batteries but one is in 1%. We don’t have much sunlight for days now. My question to you is, does this type of weather(no sunlight & rainy days) causing the solar panel not charging? This is the first time happening since I bought this 7 years ago. Also, this one that’s in a low battery is kind of hidden from a direct sunlight too.
This is the easy way, unless you really must have it that way. Quick tip: if you are going to install cameras outside get the solar panel to self-recharge the batteries.
I somehow lost my charger. I wants to hardwire my arlo pro camera (inside & outside,, with the plugs inside) It says I need a 9v plug in adapter but yet every charger I find as a replacement for my arlo pro is 5v. My regular phone chargers won't work at home. Can you help me?
That's a good question - maybe the charger is not providing enough juice to the cameras. Try an more powerful charger - that's what I use. ( ruclips.net/video/zp8CSG8QwRM/видео.html )
thanks for the information, will this cable work with any USB charger? I notice when I bought my Arlo cameras that when I connected the Arlo cable to a regular USB charger that the cameras would not charge.

Thank you for this video. I saw in some other places where people hardwired their cameras.

Hello, do they make a solar panel to keep Arlo pro 2 cams charged?
Thank you Mr. Tech. In my humble opinion, vandal resistant Dome POe cameras is the best solution. Arlo can be knocked off with a stick. :)
Yes I agree, hopefully it will capture the person who did.
Much appreciated Chard!!!!
You are welcome, Camden
That cable is not available on Amazon anymore.
Do you know where can I get it or find other brand that’s available

Bro how come my joints aren’t holding a charge?
I got 1/6 that’s charged and is telling me the percent.
The other 5 shut down right after I un plug???

Yes the cable will work with any charger, but the charger minimum pecs have to be "Output Voltage: 5V 2A 10W"
What kinda cable cord do we need?
You should have added if you have the camera outsideand they're pulling the cord in and out of the back doesn't help it either mine broke off
Sorry to hear that, I haven't had that problem within the last 3 years.
Where I get the cable
Can you make a video on how to mount those cameras?
I sure can - just add it to my list & it will be up soon.
@@ChardTheTechGuy thanks. A lot of people are using velcro. But I paid too much $ for these cameras to use that.
@@maribelzuniga7279 I will show exactly what I use
@@ChardTheTechGuy will that be posted soon?
Thank you for your great tips. 👍
You are welcome - glad to help
Thanks

Thanks for sharing, what do you think about using solar panel instead? I see arlo sell a pack of them, not sure how well performing they are
