For those who didn't play the game back then: Consider that Leblanc wasn't meta at all. She was considered a bad pick and considering that this performance is even more insane in the context of history. Faker basically invented leblanc
Dancinglings in fact i distinctly remember people bitching about her being OP because her early game was too strong, the reason she wasnt seen in pro was because her late game was so retardedly weak even if you got ahead you had to be a god on her to do anything
one-dot-two Same as Anivia. The reason you don't see her in competetive is her very slow ramp time, but besides that she has insane lategame teamfighting, midgame powerspike and 1v1 lane control.
+Kasper Livbjerg We (koreans) were already watching his rise up through the SoloQueue rank. He was monster with Kassadin and Lissandra. Even american casters who watch korean scene know about Faker
Hello guys, thanks for watching my video. Faker so amazing, right? He and his team carry the world when they was 17 (World Championship Season 3 2013). Young and strong.
+UnbounDxSpartaN yeah... there's nothing wrong with being sub, like how huhi is pobelter's sub on clg, they train together, different strengths probably
What a fun meta this was, when pros would play jayce top, karthus mid, zyra support, nasus jungle and sona. And they considered leblanc as a bad pick for mid. OMG this days seemed to be so fun.
+trollworkout Have you played Dota2? It looks nothing like league. The rift looks like this clean cut polished slab you fight on, whereas the arena you play in in Dota2 looks like something straight out of DnD.
dunno what you guys think about this but i think that faker actually revolutionized league, i mean everyone back then was getting caught from his plays and now everyone has learned those plays from lcs/lck ppl who played against/with faker.
these were the fun days to watch pro LoL games. no real strategies, shit ton of kills not fighting only around objectives 5v5, and games rarely went past 30 mins
Mercyz nah i meant what i said, but bronze division's mechanics and basic game knowledge is pretty damn far from making the scenery that i described enjoyful to watch. can't remember the correct match up, but either way, it was last week's world tournament, where there were more dragons done, than kills at 40 mins. sure you can outplay your opponent on the map, and win the game through that, but i sure as hell would rather see a display of superior mechanical skills and teamfight capability. and the more the better.
skt s3 played very strategy oriented game, maybe it looks different now from s5 perspective or u arent knowledged enough to catch it, but i see clearly they had planned all things, their rotations on map was very smart
+XowntXihqX Well unfortunately for you, we probably won't see that since players have improved a lot and they deduced by themselves that their strategies are the best way to win games now.
+TheGummie55 Money... they corrupt people. Imagine if the money from china go to Korea. Jeesus Christ.. I doubt the western teams will ever see shit if that happens in terms of international achievements.
+Spriteful Meto actually the ppl from china did go to korea and invest on a team now know as longzhu, they buy almost all the superstar player from last year and add them to their roster and keep the original 5 man to have a 10 roaster squard, they basically use money to gather all of them and longzhu is still a trash team even after that
+A7OldRscplayer You should learn how to read the description as well ''Sorry about the tittle, i'm wrong, Faker used Nidalee at the first game in pro-league not Leblanc.''
Oh my gosh, re-watching this game made me think back to the whole Karthrus vs Leblanc debate-which Faker had said that Karthus would win, agreeing with Froggen. His reason was that whenever Easyhoon and him 1v1ed as the two, Easyhoon would always win as Karthrus. The irony tho. xD
Trish Phan no. Back then SK Telecom had 2 league of legends team. #1 and #2. Because the differences of the teams were just numbers, casters gave them different names to help cast them easier. So #2 was named Judgement Day.
+MUGEN TV Yep. As soon as Ghostcrawler came from the WOW pvp balance team , over to Riot games. League adapted the same style as Wow. Tank champions are the meta and its all about getting through armor now.
Man i miss the old league! skill first above everything else, in season 3 the champions actually felt powerfull and fun to play.. league needs some buffs
its so funny how League changed. Back then, the flash Sona Ult was an "amazing" play, today we would notice that Varus hits the turret once and the coordination is totally off, as he runs out while Sona flashes in, but back in the days that was an amazing play by everyone. Incredible how much better League players got from there on.
+Josias Br Piglet was trying to kill the turret in order to continue the tower dive (MVP bot lane wasn't going anywhere and he was taking turret shots). Zyra flashes forward to kill Varus who was being requiem'd by Karthus with her own ult but is unable to kill him because he flashes northward, completely but barely dodging Zyra ult damage (his barrier was full shield). There was no misplay at all here by SKT.
+Josias Br That play WAS amazing. MVP probably didn't think they would get tower dived but their tower was low on health so Poohmandu shotcalls that play, flash ults with Sona right after tower shoots first shot at minions (buys more time to tower dive) BUT Zyra catches Piglet with her E same time Sona flash ults, Varus is stuck so all he can do is ult to keep them there longer until he kills the tower. SO RISKY because Varus had to tank the tower and MVP had Karthus Ult, but piglet's flashing/dodging Zyra Ult and Zyra Passive + Impact's shen ult on Sona won that team fight. Purely outplayed. Shame on you for thinking pros weren't good back then!
i started playing league when braum came out(like mid season 4) and played a ton of league(like 800 norm wins atm) so going back and seeing the strategys and item buys in season 3, after only being exposed to the "newer stuff" is so wonkey ^.^
Creative Self Bow before me, started beta, before the servers were as we know them now, over 3k normal wins, shitload of hours played, still only low diamond unfortunately.
Herbu Sałustowicz wow, ive seen gameplay of the closed beta and it was halarious, no meta, super chill atmosphere. you just kinda did whatever, your situation scares me a bit tho, i put alot of time into the game and play to get better more than have fun at times lol, hopefully this is the correct atitude ;c
Beta was like that because noone knew what the fuck the game was about, but people quickly defined some types of meta like Ashe/MF mid and bruiser/support bot lane with AP Carry top and a jungler, but due to some op mechanics like dodge runes and stuff the game was totally unbalanced, it was fun tho. And that beta icon is dope.
Faker still stomps with LeBlanc, even when he was baited to pick LB against EDG in Msi, he still did pretty well despite playing against a team comp catered to clynter his LB
+4SidedStar Yup. PawN was such a shitty mid laner in all of those 5 games. Easyhoon outclassed him by doing How To Orianna/Cassi 1v1 match up ,both sides of the coin 2.0 V5 Guide. I haven't seen other mid laner getting dived so frequently as PawN. Yet.. his ego still thinks the Morgana pick was the key to victory. Maybe that -50 CS and 1 -2 lvls below Faker was THE HUGE catalyst, Kappa.
+Pancreas Dragonheart So first off no, Back during this game she wasn't even meta, she was b - c tier because of how hard she falls off. Next for her being op atm, that's just hilariously wrong, there are tons of champions that do what she does but better. Making her q a skill shot would make her the single worst champion in the game by far. She wouldn't beable to fight in a minion wave (or clear one effectively) and she would never beable to pull of a fast poke combo (W (for distance) then Q,R,E or Q,E). Because she wouldn't beable to aim 3 skill shots in less then a milisecond. It would be impossible. She already has a poor winrate and is rarely picked competitively, That would be like kicking a weak champions knee's in and blindfolding her.
the fact that these plays were so amazing just shows how bad the pro scene was in season 2-3 ever mid laner in the top half korea could play leblanc this well now and the same with every other region
+one-dot-two are you fucking stupid?!? Thats exactly what makes these plays so next level. Use your head and keep and open mind.... Faker INVENTED this style of LB. You say everybody can play LB this well now, well no shit Faker introduced this kind of LB style to league. Before this there was no LB plays like this. Not that the pro scene was bad, thats just stupid and ignorant to say. Maybe play the game for more than a year then say something thats not fucking idiotic.
one-dot-two Gratz man you want a cookie? It doesn't mean shit that you've played since the beginning of s3. And yea of course the quality of pro players has risen the game is much much more popular now. That still doesn't take away from the fact the pros back then were ''BAD" as you said. You probably still don't have the knowledge or mechanics of these pros and this was how long ago? telling me to get over myself? You're probably fucking gold saying the Pioneers of league and what got this game big are bad. Once again think before you fucking speak/type.
+Xiphos559 i directly replied to your accusation that i hadn't played for more than a year. I mean every pro now is better than koreans then so w/e man. You seem kinda mad though tbh fam :^)
Ok so I'm seeing many people saying it wasn't impressive, anyone can do that with LB, and all..... yes most of the people can do all these with LB "now".... but this match was an OGN spring championship 2013 match, which means it was still early 2013, and I've been playing LOL since 2012 and I love playing ap champs... back then I've never seen anyone mentioning or banning or playing LB in ranked matches but my friend who got me into league suggested me LB in 2013, so I tried her in normal quo and liked her, but when I wanted to play her at ranked later that year she was being banned like hell in every ranked game. when I asked my friend about it he sid, and I'm quoting him here "an a.hole from Korea used her in a competitive tournament and just raped everyone, and now she's one of the most OP champs in league thanks to that b****rd" (PS: he also was a recent LB player later he got a pentakill in a normal match so he was angry), The Point Is, it was faker who showed everyone how to play LB and thanks to that now people can play her easily....
For those who didn't play the game back then: Consider that Leblanc wasn't meta at all. She was considered a bad pick and considering that this performance is even more insane in the context of history. Faker basically invented leblanc
+Dancinglings leblanc wasnt considered a bad pick just a mediocre pick
poppy was a bad pick
one-dot-two I'd say below average to bad. Same as you would say about anivia atm ( eventhough shes sick for soloq )
+Dancinglings you forgo the zone control of anivia but she got replaced by viktor :(
AND FROM THAT DAY, THEY ALL FEARED HIM
+Kasper Livbjerg AND FROM THAT DAY, HE BACAME A LEGEND
+Kasper Livbjerg I am become death, the destroyer of worlds
+simunator true 😂
+Kasper Livbjerg We (koreans) were already watching his rise up through the SoloQueue rank. He was monster with Kassadin and Lissandra. Even american casters who watch korean scene know about Faker

love how easyhoon is now faker's sub hahaha
atlanteantapir nop
atlanteantapir they're both subs, different play styles.
+에릭 M8 no easyhoon is the sub. Faker is not LOL
+UnbounDxSpartaN yeah... there's nothing wrong with being sub, like how huhi is pobelter's sub on clg, they train together, different strengths probably

nesurame what??
+gigityyquagmire first time league?
no
+nesurame Real MVP
seeing old Shen, Cait, Sona, Nasus hits me in the feels :')
I remember watching this. LeBlanc repeatedly deleting Zyra.... what a game
What a fun meta this was, when pros would play jayce top, karthus mid, zyra support, nasus jungle and sona. And they considered leblanc as a bad pick for mid. OMG this days seemed to be so fun.
lmao these days karthus would be way to immobile to even survive midlane leblanc or any other meta mids
the good old days
Yea now league is such shit.. so unbalanced..
I really miss the girl that did the champion guide videos too :(
the game is actually shit now.. past 4 seasons are 1 big blur
@@xtagin5688 KUSANTEE
"elise might be more popular than TF one day" ...lol
+Nicole Miller Well, they were right. Elise dominated the Top and Jungle meta, even occasionally mid for all of S3, and a little bit of S4.
+yung obscene hell she was 100% pick ban all this worlds too
Wow I feel so weird watching this video, LoL graphic changed so much!
hahaha me too!
+trollworkout Have you played Dota2? It looks nothing like league. The rift looks like this clean cut polished slab you fight on, whereas the arena you play in in Dota2 looks like something straight out of DnD.
+trollworkout lol you mad cause league is better?
Ikr 😂😂
U have to see now
dunno what you guys think about this but i think that faker actually revolutionized league, i mean everyone back then was getting caught from his plays and now everyone has learned those plays from lcs/lck ppl who played against/with faker.
these were the fun days to watch pro LoL games. no real strategies, shit ton of kills not fighting only around objectives 5v5, and games rarely went past 30 mins
+XowntXihqX You don't want strategy in a strategy based game? lol. If you want a game with shit ton of kills and dumb fighting, you can watch bronze q
+david yang i think he just meant based off single players.. he worded it completely wrong
Mercyz nah i meant what i said, but bronze division's mechanics and basic game knowledge is pretty damn far from making the scenery that i described enjoyful to watch.
can't remember the correct match up, but either way, it was last week's world tournament, where there were more dragons done, than kills at 40 mins. sure you can outplay your opponent on the map, and win the game through that, but i sure as hell would rather see a display of superior mechanical skills and teamfight capability. and the more the better.

wait this is fkn easyhoon vs faker? xD didnt know that at all holy shit what a story
This isnt Fakers first OGN game.. Fakers first pro game was on Nid vs Kha against CJ Entus Blaze
Got a vod link for that game?
Looking for it. It's hard since ogn has exclusive rights to their games. Ill link when I find it
Danny Hirsch www.twitch.tv/ongamenet/b/387298731?t=14m10s
GGimMexican Dude!!! I ve been looking for this match since ninteenalways . I even sent an email to Riot xd. Thanks a lot !!!!
GGimMexican Thanks so much!
EasyHoon's face turns like that since after.
+Kevin Tan
omg lol
"Miss Fortune being a huge problem" now thats something I haven't heard in a long long time XD
+Max de Leeuw MF is pretty fkin good right now
Faker was one-shotting supports so early into games they had to completely rework the support role 😂😂😂
Great point there, Dyrone. It was in fact a Flamingo kill.
this wasnt his debut game. but it was the one that launched him to fame :)
Its his debut for lb not for league
Yeah i think so, you can find the game on youtube, he went like 9/0 or something, insane spears
You could simply change the title to "Faker's debut LeBlanc game"
"he's not doing a very good job sharing." "we're gonna have to send him back to kindergarten" LOL
People saying all faker is going to do is die haha
omg nasus jungle in a professional league.. i miss those times lol
its weird how much this game has changed from these days...i mean look these kills .they are not even impressive nowadyays
that's the tank and juggernaut meta for ya luckily it over
It was impressive because LeBlanc was considered shit back then.
Awww poor easy hoon at least now he is on the winning team and is along side faker. 😎👏🏻
+TheGummie55 He left. He went to china to join vici gaming, so he is now on the losing side again.
Earl Baker Ik also Marin... /.\

A God was born.
Faker's debut game was on Nidalee vs CJ, not on Leblanc.
+xNamsu this is his leblanc debut game
+xNamsu learn to read
rekt
+A7OldRscplayer You should learn how to read the description as well ''Sorry about the tittle, i'm wrong, Faker used Nidalee at the first game in pro-league not Leblanc.''
***** You should learn to read the title. Look at the title. (FIRST LEBLANC) Fucking dumbass
22:30 Definition of Faker.
Philosopher's Stone.. :(
Everything about the whichever season this game was on was amazing. LB with silence. Those were the days
Making LeBlanc look good, he said. Faker creating meta.
The irony tho. xD
Oh shit is that MVP Easyhoon lol
Yeah man
+I-Ta Lu and Acorn in the top lane, before his name change
why is easyhoon on a different team
+The Travelling Vegan Engineer cause this video was from 2013 lol and he was on a different team at that point of time.
No, it's patrick
A God Was Born
For those of you who wonder, Chunyang is former Samsung Blue's support, Heart and Cheonju is former Samsung Blue's top, Acorn (current LGD's top)
If you pause it at the right moment at 14:30, you can see they have MSN open. Those were the days :')
"Elise might be more popular than TF someday." If only you knew DOA...
Bjersen played Lenlanc, on his debut game with TSM.
I cant believe people believed Karthus late game was stronger than LB late game during these times!! Lol.
I miss this LB so bad.
lol i forgot how small the dragon used to be. looks like a baby.
It's the witness-the-cursor-mouse-controlled spectator mode, the only true spectator mode
How Faker is now show cased in the intro
4:55 LOL ARE THEY REALLY GONNA LOCK THIS IN?! referring to the quinn top, and here we are in s6 where its 3 adc comps are meta LOL
+Ben Shanks Quinn top has always been a semi meta thing.
This brings me so much joy
the pressure is so intense in this game
the legend begins..
oh easyhoon in mvp blue :O
That smile on faker's face after the switch. lol
back in the days where nasus afk jungle wasnt troll
Hey does anyone know what "Judgement Day" is referring to? The casters keep saying that.
Sk telecom T2 judgement day was the korean teams full name but the shout casters decided to shorten it to judgement day since it sounded cooler XD
Ah, that makes sense. Thanks.
Trish Phan no. Back then SK Telecom had 2 league of legends team. #1 and #2. Because the differences of the teams were just numbers, casters gave them different names to help cast them easier. So #2 was named Judgement Day.
+Jastro88 skt t1 s was the terminator and skt t1 k was judgement day
Why isnt judgement day the Sk telecom T1 instead of T2... They were way better
I love how everything was free, never able to play this kind of LoL. :(
+MUGEN TV Yep. As soon as Ghostcrawler came from the WOW pvp balance team , over to Riot games. League adapted the same style as Wow. Tank champions are the meta and its all about getting through armor now.
Well everything is still "free", you can still main Yorick for example and still be able to climb to Plat (which is quite an achievement)
"Elise might even be more popular than TF someday" mlg predictions
Man i miss the old league! skill first above everything else, in season 3 the champions actually felt powerfull and fun to play.. league needs some buffs
FF at 20? Cmon if you get paid to play league, continue getting rekt until your nexus goes down. Like a Man.
its so funny how League changed.

god revealed himself that day
Lord faker.
5:32 He smiles. He already knew he was the best.
Faker's LB is scary as hell.
what a fancy way to debut
i started playing league when braum came out(like mid season 4) and played a ton of league(like 800 norm wins atm) so going back and seeing the strategys and item buys in season 3, after only being exposed to the "newer stuff" is so wonkey ^.^

And i have 2k normal wins

sapling wiz Uhh, I started late S3, and have about 600 normal wins... You have no life.
the days before EasyHoon joined skt and the day that everyone feared faker :)
That tower misclick 17:23
yeah, I'm amazed none of the casters noticed it.
i think piglet is really destroying it first
Does anyone know if there's a video of Faker's first professional game? Is this it?
I dont think so, the casters sound like they know him
Just search Faker Debut Game, should be him playing Nidalee
THANKS EVERYONE
Azurlite II this isn't it it's him playing nid against Cj blaze lol it's epic he solos ambition in lane and Stars game 4-0
Damn back then the game sounds were really loud that sometimes you couldnt even listen to monte and doa
Fortune banned, Fiddles banned,Jarvan banned etc, damn this is a old game, funny how the meta has changed.
This meta was much more fun..
That nasus jungle... Oh, good times :)
19:50 "some of the most impressive leblanc plays I've ever seen"
3 years later..
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
oh wow nasus in proleague those were the days
+Lortagreb And no TP toplaners
really funny how his first leblanc is against is current OP azir sub easyhoon senpai XD
Montecristo my lovely MC lol
The moment montecristos nuthugging started xd
Honestly Leblanc never would have been nerfed if not for this man she was strongest in the hands of faker.
Faker still stomps with LeBlanc, even when he was baited to pick LB against EDG in Msi, he still did pretty well despite playing against a team comp catered to clynter his LB
+4SidedStar counter*
+4SidedStar Yup. PawN was such a shitty mid laner in all of those 5 games. Easyhoon outclassed him by doing How To Orianna/Cassi 1v1 match up ,both sides of the coin 2.0 V5 Guide. I haven't seen other mid laner getting dived so frequently as PawN. Yet.. his ego still thinks the Morgana pick was the key to victory. Maybe that -50 CS and 1 -2 lvls below Faker was THE HUGE catalyst, Kappa.
what said faker about Karthus-Leblanc matchup?
Imagine getting whopped by faker on his first game. "how are you feeding him?" he's just some Korean scrub!" 2 years later...
Leblanc whas such an overpowered champ here, still is imo. They should make Q a skillshot.
+Pancreas Dragonheart So first off no, Back during this game she wasn't even meta, she was b - c tier because of how hard she falls off. Next for her being op atm, that's just hilariously wrong, there are tons of champions that do what she does but better. She already has a poor winrate and is rarely picked competitively, That would be like kicking a weak champions knee's in and blindfolding her.
Begin of the legend :3
This is not the debut game, i think. He fist appearance was in the world championship.
Are you an idiot? World championship is in the end of the season. While this was spring 2013 way before worlds started
what was the "judgement day" that they kept mentioning
It was the name for SKT's second team, instead of team's 1 and 2
+Tubsmctubson oh thx bud
저때 딱 페이커 선수와 뱅기 선수한테 말해주고 싶네요. 당신들은 '13년과 '15년 월드컵 우승자들이라고.
+BoxyRulez i totally agree
+Shaken haywire LoL
Holy crap..I almost forgot that Karthus exists LOL
the item that i missed the most, DEATH FIRE GRASP.. :'(
There is nothing better than fakers leblanc and easyhoons azir
the fact that these plays were so amazing just shows how bad the pro scene was in season 2-3
