I remember you talking about that 10 last year and how funky it was. Looks like from two plus years it hasn’t changed much. Good to see the 12 live and kicking.
Finally decided to be done with High West this past season. So passed on this year’s MWND (it still is sitting on shelves at $150 plus tax). I really like MWND and the funny thing seeing you talking about the act 10 is mine is very good and better than my act 11. I could never find the Act 9 but after 9 they have been easy to find. Just too expensive for what you get and they always loses in blinds
I’m still not sure any high west is worth more than $100. I’m not down hard fan I do like ryes. Just don’t see the value in it. Another great video Patrick. Thanks for sharing.
I feel like MWND is to High West as to what Booker’s is to Jim Beam. Too pricey for the unpredictable nature of what’s in the bottle. I recently saw both on the shelf in VA ABC and never even considered either.
It is definitely a solid comparison to make. I think you can find some great bottles for cheaper than those two. I’m told sagamore port is a great alternative for mwnd and knob break 120 proof single barrels are better than bookers imo.
Even when stores are dropping the price 12 sits on the shelf. I'm torn at buying one at $130. I have 11 and it just doesn't come across as a $150 bottle, barely a 60-70 dollar bottle.
The 10/11 haven’t really been worth it in my opinion. If you can find the 12 for sub 125 I could make a case for that as a one time buy for a high west fan.
@@robertshay9235 that’s alright. I’ve started to hunt down a bottle so I’m hopeful when I head to Tennessee soon I can find one. I’ll let you know if I don’t lol.

If anything it regressed.
Great video. Thanks for the shout out.
It was perfect for this video Justin. Thanks for the gift.
This is very helpful information, given the variation in the product. Unfortunately, my only purchase was an overpriced Act 10 - not easy to forget.
Oh damn. That’s an unfortunate year to pick one up. If you can find a 12 for 120~ I’d give it another whirl depending on your budget.
I’d like to see more multi-release/year comparisons.
Thanks!
Noted dude. Anything in mind?
I have act 12 I like it, never had any of the others
It’s been the best for a few years.

I hear you. I've stopped buying a certain whiskey but I always am curious to see how other brands are doing and compare them.
When do we get to see the Whiskey Cove creation of this bottle up against these originals? How’s your experiment coming along?
I have it completed. Maybe I should have thrown it in this blind. Tune into the livestream and I’ll be drinking it then!

I think you could say that about most whiskeys Alex. Thanks for watching as always.

I’ve only ever had the Act 10 and wasn’t impressed. I’d rather have Sagamore Port. Cheers
I’ve heard very good things about that sagamore port.
@ you want me to send you a sample?

Not worth the money when it was $80-$90 I would do it as it was a holiday bottle now not so much.
Wish we were back to those prices. It should be sub $100 though.
So many STILL sitting on michigan liquor store shelves 🤔 $149-189 🫣 I'd rather have something else for that price. Cheers 👍 🥃
Yeah, that's not a great price.
