The UK is holding a general election on 4 July. This is a nationwide vote called by the prime minister, Rishi Sunak, and it will lead to the formation of a new government for England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, for up to five years. Now is the chance to use our vote to have our voices heard, and have a say in what our future looks like. Are you registered to vote?
