You could make the stroke on the shape that's inside the pre-comp (the middle stroke) black. Then add a layer styles stroke on that comp and set the comp's blending mode to screen so the black stroke becomes transparent. This may or may not work, depending on the other colors you're using, but you may be able to get the result you're looking for by trying other blending modes. Hope that helps!
