Hiking, trekking, food....always in europe or north america....and then you came allong. I fell in love with your uploads.... manny greetings from the Netherlands
Tibetan here. I always carry couple of kilos of Tsampa on all my Himalayan treks here in Uttarakhand. It’s indeed a superfood. Instant energy and can be had with anything. You can add bit of Tsampa in your pack of Knorr soup and you got yourself a high caloric Tsam-Thuk(Thukpa) meal.
you can come in india for tour you are welcome mam, when you come in india call me for tour, we can go together my facebook acount is JASWANT SINGH PAWRIA
Tsampa is a staple food for Tibetans and for a person with busy life like me, throw a bit of Tsampa into mixer with almond milk and mixture of goji berries, pistachios and kajus and smoothie is produced to keep you running until late lunch
Sir you are totally an inspiration. I also do a lot of treks but haven't done a solo one like you. But you are really living a dream life. Your filming and editing skills are also amazing. Keep making these awesome videos.
You are just a legent dedicated and committed to explore the life, culture, scenarios in the mountain, You are also a different Vlogger who mainly focused on the subject of Vlog not on by own. Bravo!!!!!
Greetings from Washington DC! Watching your videos brings back many happy memories. I learned to eat Tsampa in outer Tibet (Amdo and Kham) or what the Chinese call Qinghai and Northwestern Sichuan. The monks showed me how to prepare the balls. I now make it here at home. I have everything but the sweet smell of yak dung used to boil the tea. :) Anyhow, your videos are so full of tenderness, patience and joy. Danyavad and Tujiche for sharing your life with us.
I live in Utah and started making and eating tsampa a few years ago. I've taken it on hikes in our mountains here. It's good mixed with walnuts, which grow plentifully in the valley. My daughter loves it.
that great bro.. Tsampa is national food of Tibet.. yes it's is really helpful in cold weather and got good energy also .. with Tsampa you can eat yak meet .. yes you can make batter tea with Tsampa ... You also make stampthuee means thupa ... Have nice day bro .. take care ... Here in kullu hp. But from Tibet....

Seeing all of you videos right from the morning and still watching. Couldn't stop me to comment here: The video shoot is great and best part is narration. Your voice is clear and very mild to understand. And finally subscribed. A Big Thank you!
Your videos photography is so beautiful and attractive that it stirs my thirst for roaming around the mountains but physical it won't be possible for many reasons, so I see my world through your videos, I live my life through yours.
Your recordings will go down in the history as a reference manual for others to follow, simply incomparable content nd quality, big salute nd hug 🤗 loads of love man 🙏🙏
It's a crime to skip the ad in your videos which we usually do for others. This is the minimum we can do to support you. I am surprised that with this kind of quality of video contents/documentary, you have not crossed at least a million subscribers. That's gross injustice. Keep doing great work and god bless you.
Great sir as always ...yes and tsampa is the staple breakfast food for all Ladakhis ,it is super food really healty but instead of pheymar you can make kholak out of tsampa same process but without suger and carry packet soups with you sir especially vegetables soup and eat kholak with the soup and u can also add little bit of black pepper in the soup ...I'm sure sir that you ll also love this combo....and it can become alternate food for phaymar i guess 😋✌️ love from Ladakh sir
Yes, Thinle. I have had this Thukpa made from Tsampa, Atta, Meat and Churrpi in Changtang and other remote villages. I have seen them add soup powder to it as well (especially those who can get these packets from army). It definitely tastes great and I will try to prepare them on my trips in the future. Thanks.
Hey guys, Cheers From Bulgaria! This guy is amazing. Very calm, very balanced speaking, so positive look, blessed by GOD! I love your videos, please keep giving us these secret of life! I'd love to join you in some trekking and just speak with you, bro!!! Good luck with all adventures and hopefully to join you some day !!!
Tsampa is called "phey" in Ladakhi. And it's a must food for each and every household in Ladakh. And it feels so surprising to see a non local savouring it. You have become local in true sense. All your videos are so honest and humble. Very inspiring.
I think maybe the closest thing we have in American and maybe the U.K. is oatmeal and perhaps a few things made from oats. But it doesn't sound like oatmeal is anything close to tsampa in nutrition. Although I've never seen it (or barley meal) for sale anywhere, I have heard of it--from Tintin in Tibet, of all places.
Have been following your videos since a while , excellent narration and even more beautiful are the stories which the whole video shows. Kudos and amazing work . Keep inspiring 🙏
Your narration is excellent man it feels like you are totally genuine about your experience.you dont just visit those places you live in there with tge natives. Watching your videos inspires me travel to those places. Cheers to you man.
There is lots of passion n courage required for doing solo trip at hilly area, thnks for grt information n vedio. The solo trip where we get chance to know our self, inner peace ☮️at peaceful hills.
Another informative video Sarvana. Love the way you compiled you having food in different - different trips and put whole story together. Background music, time-laps everything 👌
I actually recorded this video many times in the last few years. Never was happy with the results. This lockdown has finally given me the time to work on these videos and experiment with some new types of videos as well.
You are an inspiration. Every time I see a notification from your channel it fills me with excitement and anticipation. I hope things get better soon and you get back to the mountains and keep providing us these stunning visuals. (Your mountains must be missing you too)
I hope to return back this winter. But a lot of these communities will be vary of outsiders and may not be as welcoming as they were in the past. So I'm not sure when things will go back up normal again.
I started following ur channel it's , amazing and inspiring videos. Usually a team is needed to shoot such kind of video's but here u manage to make it alone. All the best for ur RUclips, ur trips, ur feature & for ur wishes. 💯 interesting contents with wonderful narration.
This is good man. I am also from Chennai and long to leave this life and go to mountain become a wandering sadhu. The only reason I see your video is too see Himalayan mountains... Try to find some meditating sadhus in those caves I am sure they are there, next time
Thanking for sharing another great video. As you're sharing about Tsampa the super energy food, I am also captivated with the beautiful sceneries. Thank you for sharing, IL US.
Ladakh is really very beautiful though I visited ladakh once only it's my favourite place and I wish to visit it again n again...simply amazing, your videos about ladakhi peoples their lifestyle are really very nice.
I don't know why I love watching your videos... I am now addicted... I desperately want to learn these tricks of sustainance you show in your videos.. I want to accompany you..seriously... 😄
Great Video, Love the mountains and the Landscape, let alone the cold ruthless climate high in the mountains. Beautiful, Relaxing and Exciting at the same time.
Thank you for allowing us to explore so many beautiful places from our homes during the pandemic. Hope you are keeping safe and rearing to go on your next adventure soon. My brother introduced me to this channel after seeing your series of videos in Spiti. We had done a trek there a few years ago and seeing your video made us relive all those memories! Romba Nandri sir!
This is one of the best channel i have visited, such love for mother nature is rare, thanks a lot brother, hope to trekk with you someday, god bless you🍃🌼
Very much Informative, I get lost with u videos! I was in siberia ,I never tout india wud gimme the same feeling which I felt in russia! Definite visit ! Ladakh!
Nice to see you back... with another mesmerizing episode. We used to eat this when we were children in Villages in Kinnaur,HP. We call it Sattu here... unlike the rest of India where Sattu is made of roasted channa (gram) for us Sattu mean Tsampa/roasted Barley flour. There are various recipes for how to eat it.. With Namkeen Chai, or mix with Chulli Ka Tel (wild apricot oil) and bit of jaggery or sugar and make laddus/pinni, the onw with Chulli ka tel can be stored for much longer.
Yes. I learnt the trick of adding Chuli ka tel to the Tsampa in Kinnaur. I now always add apricot when I make pheymar. It gives it a nice nutty apricot flavour and smell.
You have rightly mentioned two most important things to remember during solo hikes, nutrition and morale. And I feel unless you have had prior experience of eating little raw, bland foods for all meals, better carry spices. The food, journey and experience are supposed to bring harmony between you, your mind and your body.
the same way we were given SATTU (it is a mix of many grains, rich in protein and energy). you can make a drink or the same way of making laddus. I'm hoping to try tsampa on my next visit to Leh.
Ahh, so interesting 😊 I have perfected a similar perfect food for landscape gardening work - chickpea salad with sesame, cider vinegar and soya dressing. Low GI, lasts well (just ferments into kimchi if you forget and leave it in the truck a few days). I must try making Tsampa and compare😁🥰
Very nice bhai ji... Woundeful video...♥️ This is also my favourite n fast food during solo treks and also big part of our culture...we called "Sattu" in Garhwal..
You are going to be the best soon. I wonder why don't u have 10+ million subscribers. U deserve that. Love your content. Would love to know more about you. Plz make a video about u like what u did earlier and why did u choose to do this ? Cheers to your channel👍
Sir I love your channel, you are great explore and while watching your videos ,I feel same experience as you are getting their 😊,Thanku India In motion
I am a Ladakhi ,and my mother use to give us huge chunks of phey-mar in our hands ,when we were young. Good old days💞
U should continue with the tradition

I actually had a segment about using Tsampa to make Thukpa ( with atta, dry vegetables, churrpi etc). But decided to save that for a future video
Next time plz let me know when you go for trekking, i am in dehradun 🙏
Tsampa is Tibetan fast food. 😀
Where city do you live in?
For a college student living away from family, its the best breakfast ever, super quick + healthy.
Dear World why wo much hype....See how simple can life ...... & Inner peace within you.
This type of narration is excellent sir..big inspiration
The audio is a bit 'muddy' in this one. Sorry about that.
Are you back in the mountains for the summer?
Sounds OK to me👍😊
I don't think it is good to go back now. Maybe in winter
@Raning Kamei Thanks for correcting me. I checked again. The file name says MountainTwin_Hymn. So I guess Mountain Twin was the album name.
