I have made tsampa from hulled barley… it is very nice. I add ground cacao nibs to it for extra nutritional benefit. It tastes very good. I recommended it.

A normal person follow his desire blindly, a cultivator see his desires arise try to stop it, a sage see desire is like no desire bc it has no effect to them. If a buddha has no desire, how can he have a desire to help all living beings free from suffering, So the buddha didnt eat meat? What is the reason behind not eating meat you have to find out. The buddha said dont eat meat so that you dont bring killing to yourself and other, but there are three exceptions that you can eat meat. I want you to find out for yourself these three exceptions. You know sometimes we have to really get into one religion or in this case , one philosophy teaching before we make comment, otherwise it make us look like a frog sit in the well and look at the sky
