- I thought it would be cool and convenient to have wireless charging capability in my truck so I bought some stuff off of Amazon to see if I could rig something up. I had some MDF scrap, contact cement and connectors/splicers from previous projects and the only things I had to buy were the fabric ($5.00), the USB outlet ($11.99) and the wireless charging pad ($11.99). For the most part I am happy with how it turned out except for the bottom of the tray but I can live with it. Thanks for watching.

Sweet man
Thanks!
you coming back?
I will be back sporadically. I can't compete on RUclips so there isn't a lot of incentive to put out a weekly video. Daily content is king on RUclips anything else just gets marginalized.
Does it work with a heavy duty phone case?
I don't know, my phone case is pretty thin.l and it always worked.
Clever idea and looks really good wrapped in vinyl. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you its not bad for my first try if I do say so myself.
I need for Ford Focus 2
Just curious my truck has two cigarette lighter adapter so I want to remove one and put this in its place is that OK to do? Or do I have to trail somewhere else
I'm not an expert but I don't see why you can't. I swapped out one of my cigarette lighters for a usb charger instead. I just made sure that I matched the positive wire to the positive terminal on the new plug.
That was very nice and clean ! How much for you to build the exact same charging station for me to purchase I have a 2013. If you are interested let me know how to continue thanks
Sorry I don't sell these.
Ok thank you
Nice neat job
Thanks I think it came out okay.
Just saying I’m gonna order a shirt I really love the layout
Thanks but you don't need to do that.
can I buy it from you?
Sorry I don't sell these.
Well done!
Thanks!
That’s cool
Thanks!
This is awesome, great work and attention to detail.
Cool 👍🏾
Thank you I appreciate it.
Man, Dan, that took a long time to come back ;-). I was wandering if you would ever come back. Nice little build
Thanks, yeah I realized I can make more money from selling my marking knives on Instagram than making videos for RUclips. So I put the channel on the back burner. I have no real intentions of trying to post weekly content though. I just thought this might be helpful to some other Tundra owners. Thanks for watching and for the comment I do appreciate it.
@@danthemakerman I (and I think several more) enjoyed your vids very much. Maybe monthly? ;-)
@@nachtdiertje1972 Thanks man means a lot!
