Thanks for this--this was great info. I'm also a 49 year old American and will be doing an early retirement to Bangkok later this year once I hit 50. My background is in academia so Chula's Thai program sounds right up my alley. Also, the idea of getting a university student ID card to start off my "retirement" puts a smile on my face. 😅 Will be very interested to hear what the field trips entail.
Is it open to the general public? I walk onto the campus sometimes to cut corners but never really know if I'm allowed to be there. I'm young(ish) so guess the security just think I'm a student.
@@baconoverflow4384 usually yes it's allowed. However, in some canteens (at least the one next to Siam Square) will have a sign asking non-students to avoid during the lunch time.
Thanks for the video! Really helped me prepare for my first day there. Though I’m wondering how did you get to level 5 considering that you scored 9/50 and I’m allocated to level 4 with a score of 27/50 🥲 (No hate, just curious! Also didn’t want the morning class due to the traffic in the morning haha)

Great review, Humphrey. Can't wait to see the next update!
Great video! I’ll be waiting for the update!
Nice review! The canteen there is one of the best. You must try! (I'm a Chula alumni both undergrad&mba).

I'm guessing my video was the deciding factor. Duke students tend to speak well.
Thanks for sharing this information
Are accommodations readily available close to campus? I've been contemplating in person.
