Brown noise but it's howling winds, the rain comes and goes...

This 12 hour brown noise is for people who like storm sounds. It's not thee best option for sleep, but for getting into a restful vibe, it may be just the ticket.
It's hibernation weather. The wind howls and whistles, and the rain starts and stops over a 12 hour period.
This brown noise is made from my wind recordings of a winter tree in Shoeburyness, Essex, UK. I used contact microphones and Sennheiser mkh ms stereo microphones. I believe that using nature as the source for ambient noise makes for a more fulfilling and soothing listening experience than typical brown noise, which is just a digital random noise signal.
The howling wind layer is made by opening the window slightly in my home on a windy night - the wind then whistles through the gap in the window.
Brown noise is a deep sounding alternative to white noise, which can help in many scenarios by masking intrusive external noise. It can help with focus and study, with relaxation and meditation, with adult insomnia, and for parents it can help your baby sleep.
