Funny.....one evening below Claytor lake dam at the ramp a fellow approached me..........I think I caught three muskellenge that day. Anyway, we got to talking and he said he'd caught over a 100 muskie but none over 45 inch. Hate that for ya. I told him I'd been trying for years to find one bigger than 45 lbs. 8oz. He laughed and said ......Dude, I was in the boat with Shannon when he caught that big female. They were bass fishing........Mouth of Tom's Creek. Whitethorne. Alex caught that fish during the winter prior. Anyway...........I see where you caught 8 citations in 2017. At 4:30 am by myself I finally caught my 10th piece of paper that year. I gave 4 citations away.......to ahh .....guests on my boat. So it took me quite a bit longer. I just happened to come across your channel. I'm not easy to impress. Especially when it comes to muskie fishing. But you..............yeah........I'm very impressed. I love the way you handle yourself. You get on em with firm advice. Lot of anglers on my boat get tired of me ragging on em..... It's all for the good. Sam.....I wish you the best. Really enjoy your channel. Some say the new record will come out of the James. Some say the New. With the keep limit at 48 inches now. It's just a matter of time. You have a true passion for it. You're a legal guide. I'm just a weekend warrior. Have a great year.
