Introducing Newborn Baby To Our Dogs! They're So Excited!!

- Hey everyone, it feels like yesterday we were here for the first time going through this! This time we have even more fluff! We're a big advocate of this stage, for those of you who have followed the channel before, our dogs know they're expecting change, they sense pregnancy and for Phil and Niko, they've been through this before. Whilst they know and we can anticipate their reaction we like to go through these initial transitional steps. It's important to stay calm, and praise your dog's calm behaviour too. Keep them feeling included rather than pushing them away. and above all else, never leave your dog and your baby unsupervised despite how much you trust them.
A dog is as much a family member as the child. They were here first and they too can be affected emotionally by distancing, exclusion and stress. It's unfair to turn their world upside down and not afford them the opportunity. Think of as many lifestyle changes as possible that’ll occur after your baby is born, and get your dog used to them well in advance - this will minimise stress when your newborn comes home. They can be just as loving as you to their new sibling!

Following Phil's lead, I think the other two dogs are getting the point. Yes, the calmness is very important. This is something new, but not threatening.

For all the new people looking the vids of this wonderful family, and are concern about the fursiblings metting BabyMute, or how they are going to be around him. Please check the vids of 3years ago, when MiaMute was introduced for the first time. They were so gentle and loving, even Milo that at the beginning did not want anything to do with MiaMute, he became the most attached to her. And Like Emma said in the description, she and Shane never left MiaMute unattended with the furbabies. I understand people new to this channel being concern for BabyMute, but you don't have to be. Not only the furbabies are the most gentle and loving in the world, but also Shane and Emma are really responsible parents, and this is not their first rodeo, 😊😘. Love from Dallas , TX

I admire how you all take your time and introduce the fur babies to their human siblings. Seems like Phil and Nikko are taking the their responsibilities very seriously with those sniffs. Teddy will be the fun brother.
Philly Bear is so curious and wise. He knows the baby is born and in the house. They all do but Phil "gets it."
The dogs meeting little mister will be like when they met Mia... priceless!!! I think Teddy will be the most excited though.

Emma and Shane, congratulations again on the new arrival! I agree entirely with what you said in the video description, and I absolutely love how you plan for introducing a new baby to the pets. You do a great job making sure that both pets and humans are included in everything (fully supervised, of course), and it's been a joy to watch the bonds that have grown between Mia and the pets as a result. It's been great for Mia, it's been great for the pets, and I'm sure it will be great for Baby Brother too.

I would say that they all are loving that new baby smell that's so special...but Milo with the babies hat on was so cute...lol. I think dogs instinctively know when it's a little one & that their gentle nature shines through with babies!
