The chemicals these obsessive cleaners breathe in is horrific
thats what i think- the chemicals will probably kill them
I was hoping they'd open a window 😮
I agree!
Living like a pig and not cleaning for 4 years is horrific
And think of the poor dog. Bad enough that he is put in a cage. 😮😢
Richard is a sweetheart, suffering from depression. The woman is a sweetheart suffering from OCD.
He is correct. The mix of chemicals ia dangerous. If you simply use dish soap and let it sit for 15 min or so after rubbing it - you will see it breaks down the grime.
I use Dawn on my fiberglass shower and tub with a scrubdaddy and it looks great + smells great
The people that make DAWN have come out with a product called Platinum Power wash dish spray and I even use it for walls, my shower and many other things. It doesn't have anything in it that will harm you.
Use white vinegar, it works and its natural....
I've used vinegar for years, even in my wash but it doesn't clean stains as well. Baking soda is also another good one and using lemon juice with it works very well but sometimes bleach and products with a bit more strength can be used in a pinch.
The OCD cleaners should seek professional help because mixing chemicals and using obsessive amount of bleach can be lethal
The show is a good platform to educate on the damage to your lungs and body those chemicals can do
One problem with compulsive cleaner, other than the crazy cleaning, is they aren't able to build up normal immunities from germs.
What a lovely young man he’s is 🦘🇦🇺
So basically, you took a person with an OCD problem and threw them into literally the worst environment for their condition and tried to paint it as anything but triggering and exploitative. Granted, I'm not dismissing the clear depression mess this guy has, but this could've been tackled by someone who doesnt have OCD.
I'm pretty sure these people have chosen to do this. I highly doubt they were forced into it.
Being obsessed with cleaning so many hours per day is just as sick as not cleaning at all.
Almost...
I wouldn't go that far LOL 🤣
It's one thing to clean your house. I detest a dirty bathroom and a dirty kitchen. My laundry gets done every day. However, I can't get down on my hands and knees anymore due to arthritis. I do the best I can but never to the extent this gal does. It's over the top. And yes, mixing chemicals, especially in an enclosed space, can be dangerous.
Damn, come clean my house... It's a riot
I'm a self-employed house cleaner & I have seen filth like this before & I have cleaned filth like this before, but no matter how bad it is, scolding the people who have made it that way, is not the way to go. Her mixing of chemicals is a no-no & not even opening a window could have sent both of them to the emergency room. Having long hair dangling around while you're cleaning, is also a no-no, hairs do fall out & you don't want a hair on the clean surfaces you just cleaned. She said at the end ' what do you do?' In regards to her 'O.C.D' what you could do is create your own cleaning company, unless of course, you're loaded with $$ already & have no need for anymore.
You do not need bleach in a normal house. Dish soap and vinegar clean almost anything, and for hard stains, just use scrubbing paste or scrubbing milk
she needs mental health help to assist with her severe phobia. this is not a healthy way of dealing with her phobia at all
Maybe don't match people with ocd with people who need basic help. No one could live by her standards.
And if Richard suffers from depression, the last thing he needs is someone preaching to him how high their standards are, compared to how low Richard's are.
All that bleach ends up in the waterways . She’s a bit dangerous
What do you think chlorine is???? If you have a pool it's full of chlorine. Most cities use chlorine in your drinking water. If diluted it is harmless. You're drinking water has chlorine (BLEACH) in it.
How the f do you not clean your house once in four years.... I bet that stunk jeeezeee
This lady motivate me🪣🧼🧹🧽
Как сразу преобразуется квартира когда наводишь порядок. Просто класс.👍💯😃👏👏👏
Idgaf
I'd live with her. I'm have OCD but went a lil to much after the pandemic, im not a rude Person but there is a lot of homes of my friends and family I can't go in. Even my moms house makes me itchy and I have to clean and she gets all mad then I do. I even had to Lysol her car. I'm getting help
For it.
lol
Your so right about the chemicals but being a nurse the air their breathing in and stirring up when cleaning is very risky for infection even long term
The walls need some pictures
Used to use ammonia and bleach, now there are diluted bleach alternatives. Michelle knows her stuff though. All the fumes from autos coat windows. Wood fires send in toxic soot to coat even the insides of cabinets. 😊😊❤❤
It maybe clean but that yellow painted walls, looks hideous
If this show is worsening people's OCD then it shouldn't continue.
He is not as dirty as some people but they should never have teamed him up with her. She is too judgemental and she totally overwhelmed him with her nit picky ways.
I have to agree with all the cleaners they use. Mix them and breathe them? No thanks. I would hate to see what their lungs will look like in a few years.
His apartment lòks great. He probably won't be as obsessive as her, but I hope he does a good job keeping it clean.
Just my opinion but maybe they shouldn't have put down light colored carpet in the young man's place just in case he couldn't keep up with his cleaning routine. (Unless his apartment required that color)
😂he can.clean only lazy boy 😂like me 😅im sorry
Im ocd and need my place clean but she beat me to it. I actually would enjoy her place.
He needs to get a nice day bed that would look so much better than the bed that's in there,I'm happy for him,I myself battle with depression.
She has no life, she is tied to her home.
Do you know her personal life outside of this tv show? No. So..hush.
Your place dirty huh...
Does he still have his cat?
😅
Mixing chemicals could kill them...
Rettet mal jemand die Katze
🙀
I wonder if these people work because they seem to spend a lot of time cleaning and not going out to work. Maybe they have mates that support them or maybe they do work and this program is just showing the cleaning side. I do hope they get out and interact with people daily though.
It must have been so overwhelming for some struggling to be told by this woman that she needs to clean 8 hours a day to have a clean house...
Both of these people have serious problems. Having depression doesn't mean you don't clean. That is BS. My grandmother always said too much of anything is just as bad as not enough. This is a perfect example of that old saying.
I notice at 1.58 Michelle has a dog bowl next to an animal cage, (clutter) which is all very well, but most compulsive cleaners wouldn't want something like this on show.
Such a cage is not okay for a dog 😮
I wish she was my neighbor
How these people earn money when all they do is cleaning all days???
Michelle is sweet but sick. It isn't a lot of work if you keep up with it. When you let everything get so far gone, THEN it's a nightmare and a LOT of work. The only thing I don't like about the OCD cleaners is they really SHAME the people they're cleaning for. Initially yeah, but not continually demeaning them over and over.
Michelle could make money cleaning others homes instead of not getting paid for cleaning her own place. Work part time and have the rest of the time for obsessing over her own flat. At least that way she would be a productive citizen instead of not contributing to society.
All I can say is I need an OCD husband.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Let's be honest the chemicals don't matter if they don't breed them in but the problem is why didn't you show make them wear masks
