I never understood about doggo's until one wandered into my life. Abandoned by someone there she was in by brother's yard. Who did she pick...the one who had never wanted a dog. Now I get it. They do love like God...unconditionally. Thank you for this song. I either smile or cry when I hear it and yes I fully expect to see her when I leave this earth. I lost my Beauty today, my sweet old 12-year-old pup today. She was the sweetest Dog you'd ever meet. I still remember when I was little and my Dad, me, and brothers went to pick her up. She was a rescue dog and was loved dearly by my family and me. I'm only 20, she is my fourth dog to pass, but she is my first dog to pass peacefully from old age. I was lying next to her earlier today, playing this song and crying. She'd lay her head by me to try to comfort me. Man, I hope God takes dogs home to Heaven!

ill never forget when i was volunteering for the local ASPCA shelter...i wasnt normally a dog guy but back in my 20s i ended up getting community service for a DUI charge cause i decided to sleep in my car after a night at the bar and the cops pinned me cause i had my keys in the ignition to keep warm. Earlier that day before i went to the shelter my dad passed away from cancer and when i went for my shift i thought i was ok but after i finished letting my section out to walk i sat down and just broke down cause i was so overwhelmed with everything until a german shepherd another volunteer was tending to got away from her and literally hugged me which of course made me cry even harder! After that moment i'm a dog guy all the way! I dont know why they love us but they do no matter what!

My pitbull Luna passed away on Sunday 3/3/24 she lived 12 beautiful years and as much I am grateful for her my heart is so broken.. I heard this song yesterday and love it so much.. I hope Luna is running free of any pain/aches, I hope she’s eating tons of ice/snow and getting all the cuddles,kisses and massages that we used to give her here on earth..

He was about 100yds from me and tried his best to make it home…found him about 100’ from the house,but we didn’t quite make it back to each other. One of the best friends I’ve ever had. Actually saved me from a rattlesnake bite once…literally jumped in front of me on top of it and tore it to shreds…got him on his foot but he was a brute. Miss you ol friend.

One thing I'd like to say to all of us on here who have had to say goodbye to our beloved puppos! I believe with all my heart and soul (because of what Ive read in the bible) that if we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, that when we get to heaven, all of our furry kids will be there waiting for us and they will be in perfect shape!! No pain, no blindness, no limping or any kind of sickness!! We will spend eternity not just our human loved ones who know Jesus, but we will be with our furry kids too. Now THAT'S HEAVEN!! So, yeah! I’ve been terribly unhealthy for the last 3 yrs and this song makes so much sense to me because if not for God helping me through each day I wouldn’t make it at all. I’m empty nester but have 5 dogs, a cat and 10 tropical fish. My animals are my family these days. It never matters to them what my mood is or if I’m only able to get out of bed a couple of hrs a day for days on end, they still love and seem to have adapted to my health issues. They are very attentive when I’m not well. How anyone could ever say, “ it’s just a dog or cat” is beyond my compression. I love y’all, Rambo, Yogi, Rogue, Rebel, Biggie, and last but not least Jinxy cat, but most importantly God.
The only reason anyone would say it's just a dog is because they're not invested. I became a dog owner 1 year ago my dog has been in our house for 2 years. We were selling our home and my daughter decided to rescue Bear a full blood American Akita. The first year we didn't cross paths, big house. Sold our home & moving out he thought I needed help. Well God knew I was looking for answers I knew I was looking for answers and so did Bear somehow. I never invested 1 minute towards a cat or dog. Bear caught my eye and basically said jump on it will be ok and together to this day he's my buddy. He goes to work with me and I feel he filled many voids. So to answer your statement the ppl who say the "hows and why's" haven't ever let a good ole dog into there soul. Best of luck with your health and Merry Christmas. We will be praying for you. I hear you. I have 5 dogs 6 cats. I rescue. Moved to North Carolina so many are dumped. I look for the owners on every website. Nobody claims them. They become part of our family. Costs a lot of money but worth every penny. Last dog I found was my redbone coon hound who I suppose was a breeding dog. Kept outdoors. Heart worm positive. She’s okay now. Two thousand dollars later. I love her so much. Named her Red. She’s amazing.
So two of my dogs went missing. One was gone 2 days, the other one for 3 days. I just got them back together. God lead us to wear they were. I love this song so much.

Love this sweetest of songs! My precious lab mix, Shelby, and my Good Lord are what has gotten me through several difficult orthopedic surgeries and the physical and emotional pain that has followed. At night when the pain was especially bad, Shelby would curl up in the small of my back in my bed with me, and as I prayed to The Lord for strength and relief, she would lay her head over my waist and cry with me. I honestly believe that Gods used this wonderful creature to comfort and love me. She is my constant companion and ever present joy! If you’ve never known the unconditional faithfulness and adoration of a dog, you’ve missed one of God’s most beautiful gifts here in this life.

Within the last 2 yrs we have lost all but 1 of our kids childhood dogs! Beevo Aussie 17 yrs, Shay 7 yrs seizures Boston, Winston English Bulldog 14 yrs! Each one remains in our hearts We have 1 left she is an Aussie and is 14 and blind! Even though the kids are grown and have dogs of there own Those 4 and my son and daughter have stuck together thick and thin! They would come home and be greeted with joy and excitement! Pak a Sak trips where a must and tears as they came with us to the vet to say goodbye and thank God for their good Ole dogs! Ours house is quiet no kids running in and out and only one Ole mamma dog who chews out whatever she bumped into. ❤
Our beloved dog passed away naturally at 18 years of which we shared the last twelve after having rescued her. I gave her the name Mango as a wish she would be able to heal and experience the sweetness of life. God did her this favour and worked on her so she had the happiest wild and free life in the last years. On May, 23rd, she did her last peaceful breath in her garden surrounded by her human pack. Today is her funeral and I will play your beautiful song in honour to the gift she always will be and to the grace the Lord has poured upon her and us. My soulmate had to leave but I know we’ll see each other again when God calls me home.

In 2017 I lost my Golden doodle to respiratory issues. Christmas Eve. I got her after I lost my lab to bone cancer after 10 years. Who replaced my first dog a standard poodle who died in my arms as my golden doodle did. I miss them all. I now have a palmeranian chihuahua along with my wife among other mixes. I told myself I would never get a chihuahua but God had other plans lol

I hear you. I have 5 dogs 6 cats. I rescue. Moved to North Carolina so many are dumped. I look for the owners on every website. Nobody claims them. They become part of our family. Costs a lot of money but worth every penny. Last dog I found was my redbone coon hound who I suppose was a breeding dog. Kept outdoors. Heart worm positive. She’s okay now. Two thousand dollars later. I love her so much. Named her Red. She’s amazing.

Love this sweetest of songs! My precious lab mix, Shelby, and my Good Lord are what has gotten me through several difficult orthopedic surgeries and the physical and emotional pain that has followed. At night when the pain was especially bad, Shelby would curl up in the small of my back in my bed with me, and as I prayed to The Lord for strength and relief, she would lay her head over my waist and cry with me. I honestly believe that Gods used this wonderful creature to comfort and love me. She is my constant companion and ever present joy! My cat was named lucky too. Found him declawed and neutered in 30 below wind chill in Chicago. He lived to be 18. Died in my arms taking him to the vet. He looked at me and then was gone. I have 5 dogs and 6 cats. My kids👍

Within the last 2 yrs we have lost all but 1 of our kids childhood dogs! Beevo Aussie 17 yrs, Shay 7 yrs seizures Boston, Winston English Bulldog 14 yrs! Each one remains in our hearts We have 1 left she is an Aussie and is 14 and blind! Even though the kids are grown and have dogs of there own Those 4 and my son and daughter have stuck together thick and thin! They would come home and be greeted with joy and excitement! Pak a Sak trips where a must and tears as they came with us to the vet to say goodbye and thank God for their good Ole dogs! Ours house is quiet no kids running in and out and only one Ole mamma dog who chews out whatever she bumped into. ❤

Best girl ever. Cancer and tumor took her from us. A beautiful white Labrador Retriever. Forever in my heart.
Our beloved dog passed away naturally at 18 years of which we shared the last twelve after having rescued her.
I gave her the name Mango as a wish she would be able to heal and experience the sweetness of life. God did her this favour and worked on her so she had the happiest wild and free life in the last years.
On May, 23rd, she did her last peaceful breath in her garden surrounded by her human pack. Today is her funeral and I will play your beautiful song in honour to the gift she always will be and to the grace the Lord has poured upon her and us. My soulmate had to leave but I know we’ll see each other again when God calls me home.

In 2017 I lost my Golden doodle to respiratory issues. Christmas Eve. I got her after I lost my lab to bone cancer after 10 years. Who replaced my first dog a standard poodle who died in my arms as my golden doodle did. I miss them all. I now have a palmeranian chihuahua along with my wife among other mixes. I told myself I would never get a chihuahua but God had other plans lol
