One of the transforming model kits was released in the US in a line of GoBots model kits, renamed to "Cy-Kill". These were strange model kits, all rebranded versions of other things that didn't look like their Machine Robo toy counterparts.
Actually, not very rare. Aoshima purchased most of Imai’s Mospedia molds when they folded. Aoshima do reissue these kits from time to time. Until a seller “Wise Guys Models” depletes their dead stock on eBay, there’s a warehouse of this (yes, still there in 2024).
@@CWLOUISLAW Is that the same as Wise Guys Hobbies? Never came across them before but they have an awesome assortment of models. Thanks for letting me know!
1/24 is such a weird scale for a human figure... Same with the 1/15 scale kits. I can understand the 1/12 scale ones though, might pick one of those up.
These must've been the halcyon days before model kits with knee articulation were invented. Seriously though, why does the model kit of the separate bike and soldier not give the soldier enough articulation to ride his bike? What's the point of it then?
I had never come across that! Yes it looks like crap. But now I want one haha My kind of weird crap. Thx for letting me know about it, I love still finding new things after all these years.
Saw a new high end one go up for preorder a while back and thought ah Dan would love that
If it was the Toynami one…I got it! Thanks for thinking of me amigo

That’s them! They have posted many kits in recent months after they acquired a huge warehouse of kits.
@@CWLOUISLAW its an awesome store that will get all my money.

@@JomasterTheSecond 1/24 is good for vehicles, humans are definitely just accessories at this scale. 1/12 is awesome for the cyclone.

Otherwise how could they get you to buy a third kit where he’s in a permanent ride position? Man they had us by the balls back then.
@@MantisNineNinesI didn't realize there was a third kit. My god. You really would've had to pick your poison then.
Dont get tricked into getting the Delta rex kit it's terrible. It looks very similar to this.
