You are staying at the nicest super fine with strong AC place and I was there too. You are getting a mouth rebuild. I had 28 caps zircon ceramic for 7k. 3 years later......no problems at all. My teeth were worn out like yours. I went to Oasis and I heard Castle was good too. I took Amtrak for 3 days on the train just to see the southwest. I had a great time, ate granola bars and drank powdered iced tea to avoid the train food prices. One month in Mexico. 1 week to get bids and learn what I needed. 1 week to find expert great honest dentist. 1 week to get the work done. 1 week to kick around and explore the town. It was 32k in the states done there for 7k. My expenses were 250 for Amtrak, 7k for the work, 1 k for food and rugs and cool leather stuff. I bought a set of antibiotics and the pharmacist wrote down the strength and dosages and what was stronger than that one. 2 years later I got the flu real bad. Took 1 medium strength one and it healed me up almost. Took another 12 hours later, fully wiped out the flu I had. My lungs were filling up with fluid, I was scared. That medicine in the states was 400 a bottle, I paid 12 bucks in Mexico.
You did not have 4in1 or 6in1 complete with Zircon crowns for that price, the cost of that complete in the US is $70,000. I live in Mexico and not only does my daughter in law work for a dentist in the US but my neighbor here is dentist and his brother is a dentist in San Diego. When you quote costs please give exactly what you had done and cost so people don’t get the wrong idea. Like I said in an earlier post, been there done that and can prove everything I say with the clinic name, managers name and name of the dentist. Turkey, higher quality than Mexico, state of the art equipment, own lab.
@ FER. $700 for cleaning? If that is for a standard cleaning and exam, find another dentist. If you are talking about scaling and root planing, which is not a “cleaning “ , that is a different story
I was literally in tears this morning when one of my teeth broke and the one next to it is bad also. I have put it off way to long but it's inevitable now I have to go to get them looked at...the tears were the 'cost' it would be ( and a bit apprehensive about going to MX alone) as I don't have dental insurance nor the kind of money I knew it would take to have the work done locally or within the states. I had seen your u tube a while back but today as I watched it again, knowing and after praying what should I do Lord, I mustered up the courage to start researching and again watched your u tubes. I have to thank you for posting the u tubes as it made my fears of the unknown go away and am in process of the first step. I sent an email after choosing the go to the one you went to seeing your results and hearing how well it went for you. Not sure if I will stay directly in MX during my procedures, but would like to. Do they help you find rooms there in the town? I looked at Airbanb's in Yuma, but would have to rent a car to go back and forth and would prefer to not have to do that or have the added expense of that along with the room! It seemed like where you stayed was a good place, and the food looked good too!! Again, I thank you so much and love your channel.
Thank you for your kind words! Praying it works out well for you too. If you call any of the dentists there, they may be able to help you find reputable places to stay =)
Sojourning Souls Just got back from Los Algodones! Had an amazing trip. Went to Sani Dental group, they paid rooms for 3 nights at Los Hacieta ( they r the owners of Sani Dental and the Hacienda) shuttled me back and forth from Yuma and I made an awesome new Christian sister while there!! Lots of dental work done and they were able to fix my broken tooth with no implants!! I’ll be making them my regular dentists now as I just sold my house and buying a RV to live full time in. Left Yuma this morning, 65 degrees... got back to my homeland, 33 and snowing, in flip flops!! Brrrrrr. Great trip and can’t wait to get back to the warmth within the next two weeks! Thx again and God Bless!!
Thinking about this and the warmth effort and honest of your video really was the thing which moved me to making my decision. Probably saved $15k and 10 years of paying it off. Thank you, your advice and story was very helpful. Gonna look for a donate button to say thanks (muchos gracias!) wish you both continued wellbeing and joy in your lives together, take care!
I have an appointment scheduled for February 24th in Los Algodones because of you!! Thank you so much for this video! My teeth are in bad shape and I'm excited.
Hello guys! If you are planning to get a great dental job while getting to know the 3erd biggest city in the world Mexico City, you can make an appointment with us, you can find us as google maps: Dentista General Coronas e Implantes Dentales. You can check out our reviews :)
Cam, thank you SO MUCH for your video journey. I was just served an estimate for my teeth: nearly $13,000. I don't have $13k and I've been in despair, not knowing what to do, because I NEED the work done ASAP. SO MANY people in my life tell me it isn't safe to go to Mexico for dental work (they've never had it done, so how would they know??), that there's no protection for me, if a Dentist in Mexico botches my teeth. But I hear SO MANY good things about Dental tourism in Mexico, doing my research online. Your channel is a godsend. Thank you for all the work you did, documenting your dental journey.
I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story. I just came back from the dentist and have been quoted $60, 000 just for work on my upper teeth. I understand costs are high in the USA, but how can it be this high?
I have small cavities and I need a deep cleaning and my wisdom teeth all 4 need to be taken out 8k without insurance but I have Medicaid and still have to pay 1k for all treatments
Hi, you should contact Dra Alexandra David in Armonia Dental ( Bogotá Colombia 3 hours flying from Miami) Less than 10 000 usd for a full arch procedure treatment in 72 hours with modern technology (denture on 10 strategic implants) The best technology actually with strategic implant from Switzerland (they only do in Colombia on the Américan continent at the moment but this technology exist for more than 30 years in Europe, Russia and India) Watch this video and listen the experience of the patient (first part of video is in Spanish but after the patient explain his experience in English, very interesting) ruclips.net/video/PItatT6JxDo/видео.html
You guys are absolutely amazing! My husband and I are looking to get his teeth fixed and we’re thinking about Mexico. You guys have helped us do much you have no idea. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for posting your journey and for all the information. Bless you guys!!💕
Wishing you all the best. It will change your life. Congratulations! I have a friend who lives in Mexico that has been telling me the same news for the past five years. Have a great trip.
Got 18 crowns done and 4 filings that came out amazing! thank you for this video: if not for this very first video blog i watched on how it all went down i wouldn't have went on to do more research on Castle. I'm 51 and have had a shitty smile for 30 years. If i knew about Castle i would have gotten it done sooner. i wish i could post a pic! Thanks again, i can't speak for anybody else but you played a major role in me deciding to even get it done at all! Thanks again. Your a good soul to take the time to film it and post it all. God bless you. the last thing i would have wanted to be doing was filming everyday the process AND I DIDN'T! lol Thank you for the time you took to film it all as crappy as you must have felt with the temporaries in. that had to be hard when all i wanted to do was go to sleep. Good luck with the baby!
I’m from Modesto and they want to do a full denture on my top and a partial on the bottom. I’m 30 years old and I’m not gonna do dentures. So I’m going to save up and go to Mexico to get a full set of dental implants. The price for a top row here is around 20 grand but in Mexico it’s 7-8 grand. So 14-16 grand for a new mouth compared to almost 50 grand in the us. Truly sad that we’re being charged 3 times as much
I need the full implants on the upper arch but I'm afraid. I've never been out of the country. I'm so screwed. It's genetics that screwed me. I have a partial now at 27
So true, I'm in San Jose,CA. I feel the pain when they gave me a price of $8,000, im like WTH! LOL i might aswell get veneers! If they want to charge me $8,000!!! Crazy! I brush after every meal i have, smile i ratted it a 8 to 9 on the dental paperwork hahaaa they are crazy with giving all kinds of crowns for $1,000 each, holy shhhh.
I was lucky and found a dentist that took medi-cal and I was able to get 4 crowns in front for free. It’s almost like a set of veneers. All perfect and everything. They’ve been working on my whole mouth and I have a few more root canals to go before I’m all done. I’ll still need a partial on bottom because I’m missing 3 teeth and then I need a bridge on each side on top to fill in the gaps. But atleast now all my teeth in front look good lol
They have an old guy with a walkie talkie on every other corner for security. It's the old West. Whoever messes with tourists ends up dead. You can see old ladies walking home at 10.30 at night carrying groceries and almost no street lights, nearly dark, smiling, cheerful with no fear. Safer than any American city at night. But don't go deep in to Mexico unless with a group. And carry lots of 5s for gifts to cops if you go deep in. The town is run by 5 families who want it safe and quiet. It's how America was before 1940 until welfare ruined this country.
I also went to los Algodones 🇲🇽 for dental work. it was $500. but would of been $2300 in usa. it's a great town, great vibe. I loved it, & am going back soon for sure‼️
looking for a dentist in Cancun. If you read this message - I know its been 5 yrs - would you recommend the one you went to? How is it after 5 yrs? Any issues?
Go to Turkey, less than half. $70,000.00 US,$30,000.00 Mexico, $7,000.00 Turkey. Top of the line materials, equipment, etc. Been there done that. First Class, includes Hotel. Less than half the town in Mexico.
You both are lovely 😊 Thank you so very much for your video. My husband is in need of major dental work and this helps so much! I am so great full for you. ❤️
Such sweet words! Thank you for watching, we hope your husband is able to move forward in his dental journey with more insight and guidance that there are options :)
Tijuana and Rosarito in Baja California are cheaper than Algodones (near Yuma). It's a bit of a racket in Algodones. Anywhere you go it's very important to get a good referral. There are quacks anywhere. I've been to both areas that's how I know first hand.
Hi there Sojourning Souls! I know I'm supper late commenting on your video. I just now came across it on here. First off, I want to say congrats on this major mile stone!!!! I know exactly how you feel and what you've been through because I myself have had dental issues my entire life as well. Since I was 7 years old, I remember being at the dentist. I've had so much work done at such a young age. When I was 16 (and the last time I've visited a dentist) I remember the dentist recommending me to a specialist saying that the amount of work I needed done was beyond his practice. At that very moment, I remember losing all hopes because there was no way I could afford paying a specialist. So I ended up not going. I started brushing and flossing (twice a day) and hoping that would help. When I was 26 years old, I came across a book called "Cure tooth decay." In this book, the author talked about the different factors of what contributed to tooth decay and how to reverse it with food and supplements. So I went on that strict diet for about a year and half hoping to cure and reverse my tooth decays. I even changed my tooth paste to an all natural one and started doing oiling pulling (which I still do til this day.) I started taking fish oil/vit D supplements (very important.) While this book did help me somehow, sadly it didn't cure/reverse my cavities and tooth decays. I then realized I needed to go to the dentist. You see, over the years, I've had extreme tooth pains (even abscess, which is very painful!) I knew that it would cost me over thousands of dollars to get all my dental work done here in the states. And I remember thinking to myself that its 2018, there has to be a way to get dental work done without it costing me a fortune. Thats ridiculous. Its like something clicked in my mind and I went online researching. I then came across an article of the top 10 best dental places across the country. Mexico was #1 on the list. I then started research dental work in Mexico. Of course I was very skeptical. But like you said, there were many testimonials from people. There is a specific city in Mexico that I had my eye on and I called the office to inquire more info from. This was all last year. Now this year, like you, I am planning my trio down there and FINALLY get all my dental work taken care of! FINALLY!!!! After all these long depressing years. I am extremely happy to say the least. Hope yours went well!!!
Oh your story! It pulls at my heart for sure. Please please please come back and let me know how your experience is! I truly recommend it for anyone in a situation like ours. It was absolutely impossible for me to even entertain the thought of getting the work that I had done on my mouth in the states as far as finances go.
I just arrived from los algodones. To get my teeth done. They are the best. And you cant beat the price a lot of people from the us. I recommend sani dentel they are the best and the biggest in that town👍
You have to get all your teeth fixed at once to get a proper mouth rebuild. You can't do 3 teeth then come back after you saved up another 5 k. I spread the cost over 4 credit cards. Then I worked hard and paid off the cards fast. I had an infected molar and they saved it. 150 for root canal, 100 for polymer rebuild, 220 for ceramic zirconia cap. If I had it pulled it would be 1k for a dental implant in mexico, like 5k per implant up here. So the expert girl specialist saved my molar for 450. I have all my original teeth and a zirconia cap on every one, really with tourist expenses it was 10k total and I have handmade rugs on my walls to remember the trip. It was the most fun vacation I ever had. Trust your instincts. Take a week to get bids and, learn your mouth, a week to find an honest older dentist, no kids under 40. 1 week to get the work done. You can eat a chicken dinner for 5 bucks. What's the rush to leave? You eat where the dental assistants eat.
Right on Bro, I agree with you. The only thing I would advise anyone is shop around in Mexico. Sani dental is a scam, I put a video out on this. Went to another dentist , same town. He was awesome, Algodones rocks for dental, avoid SANI
GLAD to hear that you got your dental work done in Mexico. It's a SHAME what DENTISTS/MEDICAL charge$$ here in the USA US little people have to prioritize between regular bills or medical bills & we put the medical/dental in the back burner because of the IN$ANE Prices....
@@toothrestorer6588 Well, yeah, actually. The dental practices for Mexicans are way cheaper, the most expensive treatments are implants (about 1k crown included), crowns (about 250 dollars the most expensive ones) root canals (about 100-200) Also, most dentists offer an option to pay as much as you can to start, it doesn't matter if it's $50 (which I did lol)
@@toothrestorer6588 In Los Algodones, the Dentists literally give free care to the people living there and make their money on Americans. It's better for them.
Dentist names would be good too. It would be nice for someone to create a review for dentists in Mexico. My extraction on Tuesday across the border it Texas was so painful. Make sure your scrips will last long enough for a full recovery.
they need to work on rebranding...its wrong that its called "cheap" dental work, as if its less then...the word should be "affordable" or "reasonable"; 2k isnt cheap , its reasonable.
How much were your round-trip plane tickets? Also, when you say "walk" - I use an UpWalker to get around & can't walk very far at all. I would have to stop & rest quite a bit - So, how far is the office from where you park & how much was the parking? Thank you so much for ANY response. - Susan Burns
So sorry to hear that you need so much dental work, but glad that you have found a way to get it done at 1/3 the cost that it was quoted to you. Best wishes and prayers lifted for you to get it done and your soul mate to endure the separation. I am sure it will be well worth the effort. There are some other RUclips bloggers that have posted videos of their experience in this area not just dental but pharmaceutical. Check LivinLite.net channel he has 2 videos of his work he had done down in Mexico.
thanks guys, I thought about all this a while ago now you confirm it to me, I call 3 places, one of them is Castle Dental, the lowest bet is who will do the work, thank you again
How much we're the motels in Mexico per day how much was your round trip flight. What is the name of the dentist office you went to. We're you happy with their work. Thank you so much for making these videos.
My sister has lived in Yuma and has gone to Los Algodones With her family for over 30 years I have been going down spending winters in Yuma the last 20 and have had All my dental work there my whole top teeth I have porcelain crowns one implant total $4000 I’m going back here in a couple weeks 2021 to get the entire bottom done which should be about the same I recommend Navarro dentistry right across from the purple pharmacy
For super cheap you can stay in your car at the Quechua Indian casino at jiht and drive the their parking lot close to Los Algodones and pay 6 bucks for the day and get the work done and walk back to,drive out or get towed. Then back to the casino parking lot and do it again. But the hacienda is worth it with the pool and they serve dental patient food, mashed potatoes and soft beans and rice, really good. I was there in August and it was over 105 most days, no problem, had the swimming pool there. Get all your shopping done before 12 because they close down after that. After you get out of the chair and the novicain starts to wear off, you get a fruit smoothie for 3 bucks and sip that slow for an hour and let the ice cold water go around your teeth and it takes the edge off as the novocane wears away.
Hello guys! If you are planning to get a nice dental job while visiting the 3erd biggest city in the world Mexico City, you can make an appointment with us, you can find us as google maps: Dentista General Coronas e Implantes Dentales. You can check out our reviews :) regards
Most dentists in Tijuana cater to Americans and will pick you up from the border and drop you back after. I usually stayed later so I could do some shopping.
@seanviv2 I'm presently going back n forth to Los Algodones, Mexico and was able to find an American Ivy league grad for $26,000 less than NYC, so far I'm in phase 2 and pleased, check it out...
I’m in the same boat I need 2 implants 7000$ just as a start,I’m sure I need over in 30k in work. I have looked into India to go for work but bone grafting takes 6weeks so I need to plan to live there, not sure if I can do that?
I got a quote for 48,000 in the US and I’m wanting to go to another country but I want to be safe! I have the best insurance to and they don’t want to pay anything for Dental!
I enjoyed your three dental videos very much. I am planning to go Los Algodonas very soon. I want to start with cleaning and possibly draining an abscess. Then a consultation for future work. Maybe a bridge.I will drive from Las Vegas to Yuma.
In the United States, dentists make more money than neurosurgeons!! Yup! You read that right. For a neurosurgeon to make the same salary as a dentist, he/she needs to work many more hours, sleep a lot less, be on call Mon-Sun 24/7, pay much higher malpractice insurance, many more years of residency...and the list goes on and on. Dental offices in the US are the “small businesses” with the highest profit margins. Dental office profit margins are even higher than corporate stores like Target, Home Depot, and Walmart!!! It is such a scam.
It always pays to do homework when looking for a dentist. I considered going abroad for dental implants but I was fortunate to find a dentist close to me who is doing my implants as cheap as going to Costa Rica. If you have complications it’s hard to travel a great distance to resolve the problem.
Can I ask his name and where he is located I have been researching FOR MONTHS maybe even a year by now all the while my teeth are getting worse.. would be much appreciated
Jason, please share the info for the dentist that you found to do your dental work as cheap as going out of the country? I would much rather prefer to do it closer to home, as you stated, it’s very hard to travel a great distance to resolve the problem if you have complications. Thank you in advance for sharing.
The "Cheap Dental Work" is what gets to me and is what turns people off of Mexican dentistry. Dentist in Mexico can offer 'less expensive' dental work due to operational cost and other factors. I am researching a plan to have implants done for dentures in Mexico myself. I consider Mexico a less expensive alternative not cheap dentistry , cause it isn't like it's going to be a couple hundred dollars either.
Your story is so inspiring I literally am going thru depression because of my smile. Dating is hard and I just really don’t feel attractive. And I don’t have the money . I was feeling down but I really have hope now.
Sha sha, I just came back from Los Algodones. I went to the same clinic as this video (Castle) it was such a positive experience I'm an advocate now. You can do it!
No, I contacted the office directly. They picked me up at the airport. They even picked me up at the hotel for my appointments. The price they quoted me ( online) was exactly what they charged me. It's really a breeze in Los Algodones, the locals are friendly and the town is really small. You can look at my google review (Paul) it's easy and great work! Good luck!
@@ShaSha-kq6th I thought I already responded to this, it must have went somewhere else LOL. No I contacted the dental office directly. They picked me up at the airport and took me to my hotel in Los Algodones. Then they picked me up at the hotel and took me for my appointments. Los Algodones is a really small town. The locals are friendly, you wont have any trouble. You got this. You can see my review about Castle on Google. Peace.
Thanks for posting this. Been looking into it. So nervous tho guys. Dentists give me horrible anxiety. When I was 18, I got dental work done and the dentist caused some infection in the right side of my jaw. They told me I would lose all those teeth and I was like fuck this I am outta here. Went in for a cavity and then over the week this pain builds up, top and lower jaw and I go back and my dentist is like oh yeah you got an infection that is spreading thru all your teeth. I had PERFECT TEETH man. Perfect. Long story short, my sister is dating a dentist we talk he has a gander and tells me that I didn’t even need a filling, I grind my teeth and that was the cause of the pain. The dentist drilled and filled a tooth but didn’t clean it right nor fill it right and shit spread and so I just brushed like crazy for several years. Didn’t help. Teeth are just crumbling away. I’m not rich. Have shit insurance. But can definitely afford 10K. I am doing this. For some reason. Mexican dentists don’t worry me. Don’t know why. But I wanna fly right now and get it all sorted out. You guys rock thanks for sharing.
So cool that you made a captivating report of us, Molar City! Los Algodones is also known as Molar City, the Dental Capital of the World. We have been guiding, for free, patients from the US and Canada for over 13 years. We provide with free scheduling on the top dental clinics, lodging assistance and transportation too! Feel free to contact us to collaborate!
ive spent during 2021 and 2022 paying almost 11,000 dollars getting my teeth done in Texas, and still no where near done, and still have pain in teeth I didn't get too. Also in the process of looking up Los Algondones.
Thank YOU for watching! RUclips videos I had come across from other people really helped my decision making, so I'm glad to see my video is helping someone else. =)
I love your video very informative than any other video I have seen so far. Thank you for sharing I'm looking to get full mouth upper and lower implants. So tired of the dentists in the states with their work and outrageous prices.
It was absolutely impossible for me to even entertain the thought of getting the work that I had done on my mouth in the states as far as finances go, so I feel you!
Any updates since your dental work done in Los Algondes ? I'm about to pick a place either there or Cancun /Playa Del Carmen BUT I CANNOT FIND ANYONE /REVIEWS OF PATIENTS THAT ARE 4 -5 YEARS POST SURGERY ?!!! I ONLY READ BAD THINGS. PLEASE HELP !!!
I need 6 crowns redone because they are very old. Here in the US that would be around 12k. I could go to Thailand, get those done for 2100, a hotel for @ 1000. Flight free since I have miles... so FAR cheaper than US. Thailand is rated number 6 in the world. I just watched a very detailed video about it on the YT channel ... 30 and a wakeup.
First of all; C O N G R A T U L A T I O N S on the birth of your little bundle of joy! 💖 I’m hoping that you check in here once in a while. I’d like to ask how your dental work is holding up? Have you experienced any problems?
I have a friend who has put thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars in her teeth, and now she just wishes she had had them pulled and had implants for the same price instead of all the work and all the pain.
Thanks For The Information!! 1st Order Of Business ...Get My Passport Renewed!! lol. Then Research Then Head Out There!! Thanks Again For sharing Your Story.. Best Health To You Both Even More So Now During this Pandemic.. God Bless. Peace Out!
Thanks for your vids and your openness. I've subscribed because I love your channel name and you and your wife have good vibes! I'm off to your next vid now... : )
How did you guys go about payment? Because I'm about to do exactly what you did. The funny thing is I was released from Rikers Island that day that you guys posted this video. I'm not a criminal I just took the time instead of probation a little shorter than the city bullet. But anyway oh my God I thank you guys so much for this video you look amazing my brother beautiful smile I can't wait to have the same. Blessings please tell me about how to go into this the smart way with payment. 🙏
Thank you!! Cash is always best/cheapest (they have ATMs available and most places accept US Dollars). You can use a debit or credit card, but since it's out of country, there is a small fee when used - I used a credit card for the entirety of the treatment - I prefer using credit when out of the country for security reasons, but that's just me.
I have watched all of your videos and scoured your page but what I cannot find, that would be so useful and helpful to other considering this procedure and dentist is a close-up before and after. Have you don't that anywhere? Please share as I have an appointment with Castle Dental next week for this same treatment. Also, any regrets or issues after the placement of the crowns?
We are working on part 3 now! There's been lots going on that has delayed the process, but we are excited to share all the answers to these great questions soon! How did your appointment go =)
I have an important question. I'm doing research on dentists in Costa Rica and Spain, but I have one big issue... How on Earth do you find the confidence to do it and go? I don't know which dentist to trust. If it helps, I'm deciding between Dr. Arnoldo Anglada in CR, And PROdental in Spain, they said Dr. Sevilles or something but the papers said Marco Marcos something, and other doc names. See? This is confusing. And I have to bring a toddler too!! FUN!!
You would have to call to see if a specific dentist would take insurance or set up a plan. I didn't run into anyone using insurance from a different country (i.e. a US dental insurance company), and it was my experience that payment needed to be paid in full by the completion of the treatment.
I just spent over $9000 on 3 root canals and crowns. The last two root canals I had on the bottom right side of my mouth failed and ended up having to be extracted. So that was $6000 down the drain. I’ve already spent over $16,000 on my mouth and my Dennis says that I need $10,180 worth of fillings and crowns and one more root canal. 😩😩 Juarez is closer to me than Los Algodonrs, both claiming to have a lot of dentists. Juarez is just across the border from El Paso Texas. I’m looking into it but I’m nervous to travel alone especially to Juarez.
I'd like to give you a tip for the next time you get a root canal done, trying looking for a good endodontist for the procedure, they specialize in this procedure so you'll have a better chance of it lasting a very long time
We are not all born with life time teeth. I took care of my teeth and corrupt dentist ruined them. If a dentist does not drill and fill he can not survive. So they say look at this xray and see this or that: well they say its cavities and we can only believe them. They are not all honest.
Welcome, welcome... this was about 3 years ago and nothing has changed since we've filmed our 1.5 year update and Q+A here: ruclips.net/video/50safT3HVWY/видео.html Give it a watch!
I'm in line to go , but when i go i will get 3 estimates from dentistas with the 5 star rating/reviews & if it is still to expensive I'll just straight up tell them that I need mpp not wpp . Cuz I've had a crown done in Rosarito Beach baja for 80 dls and in Norwalk Ca the dentist wanted 1000 dls this was in 2004 and it's still working
@@SojourningSouls like tipping the hygienist. I learned the government minimum wage is under $8 a day not per hour or day so I was wondering if it's acceptable to tip hygienist, X-ray techs etc. But now that I say it out loud the professionals probably get more than $8 a day hahaha
Because my jaws don’t line up, my teeth are under a lot of pressure and I have been chipping my teeth and Crowns. One option was exactly like yours… replace every tooth with a Crowns. I just got the estimate today and it’s over 32K. He said that he would do it for $26K. Taking about a week. Because of my age, I will be 70 this year, I am wondering if going through the pain and financial considerations is it worth it for me to do. Sure having a great bite would be nice, and smile… but at 70 years old is it worth everything? If I was in my 30’s- 50’s I could see myself getting the work done. I am retired now for a month, I could pay cash for the procedure, but I also like a bargain. I don’t know if I because of my age, should do it. And you know that every Crown hurts. They put tiny threads into your gums… and even with Novocain… it is painful.
I don't know much about implants, but I'm sure if you reach out to dental departures, you'll be able to find different practices that could offer you a quote! www.dentaldepartures.com/
People say they are nervous going to the dentist. With me, it was never the pain, it was the pain of cost.
haha, so true, and knowing that once you are in the chair, the dentist might discover something that is wipes you out, gets your nerves going.
Lol for real.
Preach!!!!!
J Mac what dentist did you use?
Can you give us the name of the dentist you went to?? Id love to know
You did not have 4in1 or 6in1 complete with Zircon crowns for that price, the cost of that complete in the US is $70,000.
Just had my teeth cleaned in the Philippines.. Dentist was great and it cost me $20 including the taxi fare back to my hotel.. Very satisfied!
Frank Hinde only in usa they charge 700 just for cleaning 🤣😂
Mexico. $7.50 for cleaning. U.s. dollars!
@ FER. $700 for cleaning? If that is for a standard cleaning and exam, find another dentist. If you are talking about scaling and root planing, which is not a “cleaning “ , that is a different story
It’s between 150-250 for cleaning here in the southern part of the US 😬
I was literally in tears this morning when one of my teeth broke and the one next to it is bad also.

I have a partial now at 27
Can someone please help me. I need 3 implants and san Diego quotes me $14,000.. I can't afford that and I need my teeth.

Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry is where I’m going to go in the future. The dentist is so wonderful. Dental work prices in Canada and USA are ridiculous.
Not touristic cities like Monterrey, CDMX, Guadalajara it’s still 50% cheaper than border clinics
What clinic in Playa del Carmen?

Go to Turkey, less than half. $70,000.00 US,$30,000.00 Mexico, $7,000.00 Turkey. Top of the line materials, equipment, etc. Been there done that. First Class, includes Hotel. Less than half the town in Mexico.
It's literally $400 per crown in Mexico average. Not anywhere close to $30k for a smile makeover in Mexico

Don't you need a passport to get across the border.

Hey Mumu - How has everything turned out for you? Your thoughts would be very helpful - thanks!
Thanks for showing the map and pointing it all out. I appreciate it.

This is dispicable that dental work costs this much. Dentists get paid too much and forced to charge too much money for the medication used
In the United States, dentists make more money than neurosurgeons!!

Stumbled across Costa Rica several years ago. For me it was the answer to the arrogant, over priced Florida dentists.

Any update?
So cool that you made a captivating report of us, Molar City! Los Algodones is also known as Molar City, the Dental Capital of the World. We have been guiding, for free, patients from the US and Canada for over 13 years. We provide with free scheduling on the top dental clinics, lodging assistance and transportation too! Feel free to contact us to collaborate!
ive spent during 2021 and 2022 paying almost 11,000 dollars getting my teeth done in Texas, and still no where near done, and still have pain in teeth I didn't get too. Also in the process of looking up Los Algondones.
After medical tourism the doctors in the US can apparently deny you any follow up care. I had a issue with that.
I had to fly back to Mexico for a simple needle aspiration as no doctor in my area would do it since the surgery was originally done in Mexico.
THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
MUCH for this video. Help me a lot
Thank YOU for watching! RUclips videos I had come across from other people really helped my decision making, so I'm glad to see my video is helping someone else. =)
Thank you for you video. It was great help.
So, thanks to this video and few others, I am going to Mexico in March 2024. I am flying to Cancun for crowns and implants. Vacation too!
Hi, I am looking to go to Cancun. Have you been able to go? Did you find a good dentist? How satisfied are you? Would you mind giving me some advise?
Also curious. Husband needs dentures and implants
5 implants including abutments & crowns, 3 additional crowns, added bone mass, plus a few additional problems, $ 3,524.00 + $ 50.00 for 3-D x ray.
With what dentist?
@@sparkygirl9083 Hygeia Dental in Tirana. Their clinic is located in the hospital.
How was your experience with Castle dental? Are you happy with them?
Cam. Don't leave us hanging. When do we get an update?
I hear ya! We've had a lot of background things going on lately that have taken priority, but we'll have Part 2 up in the next day or so!
God Bless. Peace Out!
Come back and let us know if you go!
How did your appointment go =)
Passport is also a thing he must have his passport already to plan so soon , I have to wait 3 months 🥺 but def going to lo algodones
Great video! Im sure if you go deeper in to mexico all that dental work will be a lot less.
When wanting a second opinion never let them know what the previous ones quoted you.
FUN!!
There’s a website that vets these dentist and guarantee great job in Mexico
@@JJ-iy7rkwhat is it?
Very happy for you!!!
Thank You !! Will clinics there take insurance or financial plans? Be well !
Juarez is closer to me than Los Algodonrs, both claiming to have a lot of dentists. Juarez is just across the border from El Paso Texas. I’m looking into it but I’m nervous to travel alone especially to Juarez.
I'd like to give you a tip for the next time you get a root canal done, trying looking for a good endodontist for the procedure, they specialize in this procedure so you'll have a better chance of it lasting a very long time
I like ur Smile!! U guys are awesome!! Thanku for the hope!
Some areas of Mexico hospital are free I whent for emergency one time I paid nothing only tips
Yay you found a solution! So happy for your family. My question is how did your teeth end up in such a state? Neglect, genetics, what?
Definitely a combination of the two, unfortunately.
We are not all born with life time teeth. I took care of my teeth and corrupt dentist ruined them. If a dentist does not drill and fill he can not survive. So they say look at this xray and see this or that: well they say its cavities and we can only believe them. They are not all honest.
Just found your channel. Wondering how you are doing now. Would you recommend?
Clean equipment always don't worry
Thank you! ❤
My husband and I are RV full timers. We are going to the clinic you used. Is it okay to tip support personnel?
Oh awesome! Who are you referring to when you say "support" personnel? And make sure you come back and let us all know how it goes for you.
Hey did U save 8000 Mexico what about air fair + motel? Is that included
Great question, check out our Q+A here ruclips.net/video/50safT3HVWY/видео.html
Wonderful Video Bro I am in Sacramento... would love more tips on where to go for low priced implants
I don't know much about implants, but I'm sure if you reach out to dental departures, you'll be able to find different practices that could offer you a quote! www.dentaldepartures.com/
Thank you for the video, I really felt like I didn’t have any other options smh
Did you get your dental work done?
