Awesome dude! I can't believe that the one-handed-mode was blocking me to use peripherals. After doing that my Xbox controller worked as expected!

I don't believe that just one app with accessibility enabled was driving me crazy... The worst is that the accessibility icon does not even appear to me in the navbar, would never guess that. Thank you so much for your help!

Finally! Been searching for possible solutions, but the problem was very frustrating to describe. lol. I'm using a xiaomi mi10T and most threads would say it's an MIUI problem or Android 11 issue, but this is the only video I've come across that mentioned about accessibility features as the problem.
First of all, I had the accessibility menu turned on, same as in the video. I connected my ds4 controller to my phone via bluetooth and it works fine with other apps and i can navigate the phone screen using it too, but on the ps4 remote play app, I could no longer navigate using the dpad and even the buttons don't work. But when I turned off the accessibility menu, everything worked perfectly and I was able to use the controller on the ps4 remote play.

mine is redmi 9. Accessibility menu on or off ....the controller i have is still having pause moments even tho it's connected on the phone with bluetooth.

I have Redmi Note 10 Pro and the left and right stick and D-pad didn't worked when I want to map them.For me IT worked disabling options like 2 or 3 fingers swipe on screen for screenshot,double touch on power button for flashlight,I disabled them.And IT WORKS!!
My Redmi note 10 pro recognize my gamesir as keyboard, do yours recognize as controller?

I connected my PS4 controller,it recognized IT as a controller:)
@@callzz17 did you try to use the PS4 controller in-game aswell? I've had the experience that everything connects and looks fine, but then I never manage to control the game (redmi note 10 pro)

I am your second subscriber brother and anyone reading this i am living proof this is not cap! I had to turn off a screen Tapper and a cleaner app and my controller worked perfect ! Also bonus tip if you wanna save battery with less lag with the controller you can use a usbC adapter and plug your usbB in the adapter

It worked!!!! Under installed services I had a phone call recorder on and as soon as I turned it off my controller worked!

I have tried everything and neither xbox nor ps5 controllers work on my phone. Everyone saying it is a android 11 problem is wrong. I have tested my controllers on my galaxy note 8 plus or ultra which was running android 9. I have tested my controller on my wifes motorola running android 10 and same issue. I currently have android 11 on my s21 ultra 5g and same thing. I have 2 different ps5 controllers at that and both have the same issue. One controller was bought at the beginning of 2021 and i bought my second controller in august 2021.
Same here I have the a71 5G and all my accessibilitys are off and it still doesn't work. Was fine for 3 days and out of nowhere just stopped smh
I now have the galaxy s21 5g, since July, and up to two weeks ago my controller was working fine then nada. I am trying as much as possible to find a workaround, please hang in there.

Any suggestions on why some Bluetooth controllers like gamesir x2 that have worked fine up until this new android 12 update?
Android 12 is still in the "public testing" phase and will be needing some work done on its compatibility with each device. That is all i can figure out. Sorry for the inconvenience and lack of suggestions.

It actually worked. In accessibility, if there is some apps using it too, disable them if you are having problems with the controllers.

Why does yours have accesibility menu and mine only has accesibility and I chevked it and its alry turned off but still didnt work for my game none of them are on. That doed mean it didnt work on my device bro?
I am sorry to hear that it doesn't work for you, it won't work for all devices, only some. This is only a workaround and is not a permanent fix. If nothing else is working to fix the problem, I will recommend either contacting your local cellular service provider or the manufacturer's tech support for help. I feel bad that I can't be of any help. 😥

I updated my phone last night before I went to bed I was playing cod mobile with controller and this morning I went to play and it only lets me use the a,x,b,y buttons can't run shoot aim nothing
yes, I have a similar experience with cod mobile and it seems to be a connection problem with the game/app, I haven't found a solution yet but I am looking for one
For my case I have a Motorola edge and the accessibility option that was causing problems was "swipe to split" I turn it off and it solved the problem
I have the same issue with my galaxy a71 5g but all my accessibility features are off and the problem is still there. I do what else to do at this point 😔

Hey my ps4 controller doesn't work well with Mi Android tv running Android 11, my other tv with Android 10 works fine. I didn't have any accessibility feature ON on my tv. Please suggest me a fix for that. ASAP
I'm not sure what is wrong with the TV version of Android 11. I don't have a TV running on android OS. The only android devices I own are a Samsung galaxy s21 and a 3rd-party tablet. Sorry I can't be of more help.

Hmm, what os is your device? What features did you shut off? For me, it was the 'accessibilities menu' (person) icon and feature that stopped me from using controllers.

Just looked into it a bit more don't disable any already enabled 'Installed Features', those might not have any problems with this issue.
That said, it doesn't mean that nobody will have any issues within the Installed Features directory
Are you using Bluetooth or wired connection to your controller, if Bluetooth, try going to Bluetooth settings then click on the gear ⚙ icon next to the connected device and click on the toggle switch for device input. If wired, I don't know if I can help as of yet, I will attempt to try on my end

Enter the device's Settings go to Accessibility, then select Installed Services. You may need to test each by enabling one at a time after disabling all options. Please take note this does not work for all devices, but does for many

@@xxbullriderkillx9301 you can't actually disable the accessibility menu, only certain options within the settings...
go to [Settings->Accessibility->Installed apps/Installed services] and set everything you don't need/use to "OFF". will upload a video on how to enable/disable the accessibility shortcut(little man icon)
I'm using Xiaomi MI 9 on MIUI 12 and Android 11, my solution was to disable one-handed mode in phone settings. Anyway, thanks for the video friend, and I hope I can also help Xiaomi cell phone users!
