Very cute. I was thinking about trying to make some of these to go with my cold processed soap gifts for Christmas and I have a couple of questions. Is the glitter what causes the air pockets in the top or is that just normal when pouring? My other question is does the mica settle in the top of the mold during the cooling process? I only ask because when I tried to make liquid soap with mica, it settled in the bottom. And one more question, can I use the same amount of beeswax if I can't find soy wax near me? Those baby ones would be cute for a gender reveal. Like maybe all but one person gets the pink and blue mixed ones as a gift, and whoever is chosen to reveal, would get solid colored ones for boy or girl. Or if twins, one person gets one color, and the other gets another color! I bet that baby powder smells sooooo good! :)
Hi thank you for watching The glitter hasn't caused air pockets for me , the mica doesn't settle as the wax sets very fast it doesn't have time to sink ... it will eventually sink tho when you use them in a wax burner.. thats just a natural occurance as the mica is heavier. I honestly can't tell you about bees wax as I have never tried it sorry. Yes thats sounds like a great idea and yes baby powder smell so lush x
This is a good question, i pop them in the microwave for a couple of minutes and then I wipe them with a micro fibre cloth, I wash them properly with hot soapy water also whenever they need a good clean

Sometimes the consistency of the wax goes really thick when pouring into the moulds right towards the end. I use kerasoy wax. I am adding fragrance at the right temperature. I just don’t know where im going wrong? 😞
Hiya if the temperature in your room is cold then it can cool down fast and get thick you can try pouring at a slightly higher temp if this is the case , or heat up you jug or pan you use to pour from before mixing your wax in . X hope this helps x
I melted all the wax in one go and weighed it out once melted for each scent x works out to be quicker that way I do want to get a machine that melts the wax and keeps it at the correct temperatures x
I work out how much wax I use per pack of hearts or per snap bar and the how much fragrance oil and everything else I use and find out the exact price it cost me to make my products I go by weight .. so I work out what 100g full make product would cost to make and then use that as my base x .. then obviously add on time etc x x x
I will do a separate video on them but when your buy your fragrance oil, the suppliers will have the clp information you need in my case, there's a link under every scent I buy which has the clp information I copy this onto avery and print my own labels at home, but there are company's that print clp labels for you just type clp labels into Google x
Hi Sarah. Just came across your video. Your heart wax melts looked so lovely 🥰. I have been thinking about making and selling my own wax melts. I haven’t started anything as yet. Feeling nervous about it actually but I want to give it a shot. Do you make your own clp labels or do you get them made from a store? I saw online there are a few places you can purchase them from. But I can imagine being able to do them yourself would save you money? Also, what do you include in the clp labels? Do you have to include the ingredients that you used? Where did you buy the clear wrapping from that you wrap the wax melts in and the box? Also, do you have to declare your side hustle to HMRC, even if you’re not making profit financially from it to begin with? Sorry for all the questions. Thank you in advance 🌺❤️
I suggest by starting with a kit , you can but them on Amazon , that way you can see if you like making them, yes I am registered, I can’t remember the exact rules u will have to research it but I believe u don’t have to declare your business untill you are 1k in profit, I get my cellophane from craft store or Poundland and I get my boxes for Amazon , my biggest advice would be not to copy, be unique that way you will stand out. I make my own clp’s. It’s tricky but cheaper and convenient … hope this helps thank you for watching x

This is so satisfying to watch 😍 may I ask what you need to start selling wax melts? Do you need any license to be allowed to sell them or get them tested like with soap? I know you need CLP labels but do you need anything else?
Heya good question, in the UK you do not to get them tested and like with soap as u are not using them on the skin etc, all you need is the correct clp. And obviously do you research and trial and error until you get them perfect x x x x
The clp information should be available on the suppliers website who you buy your fragrance oils from x Then u can get company's to print the stickers for you with the information and send them too you ... or I make them myself x

What is the fragrance ratio? I try to make my own wax melts and soy candles and it says ex. For 100 gr candle it is 0.08 fragrance... Is it correct? Greetings from Greece
It depends on what wax you are using it should say it on the description from your wax suppliers, mine is up to 10% so of I'm using 100g of wax I can use up 10g of FO
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question...When you paint them, are you dipping the brush in anything? spraying the wax with anything? how does the mica powder stick to the wax?
hi.. no i dont i just brush the mica powder straight onto them .. soy wax melts tend to have a slightly oily layer on them naturally so the mica just sticks to them.
I will make a video on this but the molds i only properly wash them with soap and water once a week in between i heat them up in the microwave or with a heat gun and then use kitchen towel or microfiber cloth to wipe over. The brush i just brush the excess of on a bit of kitchen towel and also wash with soap and water once a week. You must make sure there fully dry before using again.
Hiya it depends on your fragrance oil and your wax that u use so make sure u research on what ever wax and oil u choose but for the one I use, I add my oil at about 67° and I add maximum fragrance loads so 10% so for example if I use 100g of wax I would use 10g of fragrance oil x hope this helps

Hi Sarah, What about your personalized label…who do you use for the stamps ?
For my labels I designed them myself on canva and then I just print them out using a printer and label sheet which I buy from avery x
Maybe I shouldn’t have said label lol. I meant the stamp for the outside of the box.
@@lovelysanders5060 ooo hehe .. OK there was a company I found on Google, I will find there exact name when I get home for you if you like, pop me a message on Instagram and ill send you the link. If not they have tones of company's on etsy just type in custom stamps x
How much grams of wax did you use ? Couldn’t see thanks
Unless I missed it you didn't say in the video how much wax you weighed or fragrance oil?
To every 100g of wax i use 10g of fragrance oil x
Sorry if this seems like a stupid question...When you paint them, are you dipping the brush in anything? spraying the wax with anything? how does the mica powder stick to the wax?
hi.. no i dont i just brush the mica powder straight onto them .. soy wax melts tend to have a slightly oily layer on them naturally so the mica just sticks to them.
I heated to 70 and soon as i added the fragrance it solidified, any idea why ? I am using kera soy 4120 and using 100g /10g ratio x
Stupid question: how do you know how much wax for the melts. Easier on the glasses, right?
Is soy wax melt what what people used on sealing letters? Is it the same with wax sealing beads?
No its completely different the wax or glue used to seal letter is a very hard wax ... soy is a very soft wax x x x
Thank you! I'm really clueless about this sorry😅
How do you clean your molds and brushes?
I will make a video on this but the molds i only properly wash them with soap and water once a week in between i heat them up in the microwave or with a heat gun and then use kitchen towel or microfiber cloth to wipe over. The brush i just brush the excess of on a bit of kitchen towel and also wash with soap and water once a week. You must make sure there fully dry before using again.

@Sarah john who do I mix 3 or 4 different fragrance oils to make one ?
At what temp you pour the wax?
What are you wrapping them in .
Just cellophane that I cut to size
@@sarahbellessoywaxmelts thank you 😊
Great vid very relaxing, I have a couple questions what temp do you add the fragrance at? Also how much fragrance per ml of melted wax ? Thank you
Hiya it depends on your fragrance oil and your wax that u use so make sure u research on what ever wax and oil u choose but for the one I use, I add my oil at about 67° and I add maximum fragrance loads so 10% so for example if I use 100g of wax I would use 10g of fragrance oil x hope this helps
@@sarahbellessoywaxmelts thanks great info thanks much appreciated ❤️
what temp do you add your fragerence and pour at?x
I add fragrance at 67 and I pour once I have stirred the frangrace in for two minutes I dont recheck the temp x x x

How much wax and fragrance is needed for 1 of the 15 piece heart shape molds?
For the heart molds I use 100g wax and 10g fragrance oil this fills the hole heart mold x
Do you sell these to the US?
So I have a question, I’ve been trying to make these and they turn out great but when I melt them the mica just sits at the bottom, doesn’t dance around like it’s meant too, any ideas?
Unfortunately mica does naturally sink to the bottom its will dance around for a while as it melts but it will sink there jo way of stopping that ... if u want u just wake the mica up again by giving a little stir with a cocktail stick x x x
Very nyc awesome
Where do you get the clp labels please
I print them myself but when u buy the scent the information u need will be on there website, u can print them yourself if you have sticker paper and a printer or u can get company's to make them for you x
