Very nice. Very simplistic and straight to the point. Easy even if you don't have the skill or have never done this before long as you have the tools this video will help you
Nice one. Only thing I would say is pay attention to getting the solder melted on those 6 front support pads. They really do help give the Xbox Series X HDMI ports a lot of strength, resulting in less chance of ripped connection pads when the port gets damaged (unlike the PS5).
Great job 👏 If it was me, i will be not comfortable sending this back with out replacing the thermal paste 🤐, i known it's waste of time if you are working in a workshop 😬.
Customers gasp when you quote them for a repair. They dont understand the work involved to strip and fix then rebuild an item. They think everything is an easy quick fix.
I try the window and the b key and the window and v key and b key bet is not working for me keep seeing the black screen and the PC restarts over and over again please help me🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Hello Boss, I am Jeres Houngue from Benin. I've been following your videos for a year and a half now because I'm training in electronics. And sincerely you are the best and very generous in sharing knowledge. Thank you very much. I have a problem and I need your help, please help me. I have an HP Pavilion core i5 which worked well but recently, it systematically restarts in a loop at startup after just 2 or 3 seconds, nothing is displayed on the screen and no bios access. I realized that when I remove the RAM sticks, it no longer restarts in a loop, it continues to run, but naturally without starting the startup sequence. I tested with another RAM strip and the same thing, it restarts in a loop, so it must not be the RAM strips. It does not do any beeping sequence at startup, whether with or without ram. How do I do it or which of your videos do you refer me to?
I just sent mine into get replaced and now 4k won’t work. Could the guy have replaced it with an incorrect hdmi port and that’s why 4k doesn’t work? I’m not tech savvy so idk if it’s only the cord that matters or the port itself.
I have acer aspire 7 laptop , when i try to use while charging it gets off, but after charging then using, it works. Can you tell what would be the problem. On full charge battery drains in 4hr on normal use.
Alex from South Florida USA.... Long time viewer on RUclips TV app. You can not like or subscribe using the TV App as far as i know and my bet those using it does not count on the views? Very Glad you resolved the issue. I would like to put up a 100 dollars for a contest for the best design of converting an old TV .. the plastic housing on the big screen TVs into a soldering station with fume extraction. Do you think this would be fun? Anyone want to increase the pot for the winner?
I've seen plenty of HDMIU replacement videos for consoles from lots of channels. Yours made the most sense and seemed the easiest. Nice video.
Glad it helped!
Same here!
Almost all use the same techniques
Sorin makes it look so easy, I guess it's all about experience!
This is easily the best Series X HDMI repair video I've seen, you made it look so easy!

I am out of YT no posts for 24 hrs jail. Was that normal leaded solder that you used on the replacement port?

Do u know why port failed ? because XBOX have FIFA installed
Multam fain :)
Yeah, I’m taking this to a pro if my Xbox has problems.
You let go just a little bit too early while solder was still molten, port didn't stay flush with the board.
