      Hey i was wondering if you have a build for using the Banshee?
      I love the gun but i dint know what gearsets i should use.
      sokolov hunters strikes combo maybe?

    • @ikia
      @ikia  2 месяца назад

      for using the banshee, any of the hunter fury builds will work fine, especially solo,
      here is the hf recommended folder from the build collection for a few ways to set it up :
      drive.google.com/drive/folders/1gWV2M7knrOaP5dr_kjDviq626wnookXB
      it also works well in groups with both hf and strikers, it is one of the top smgs generally.

    New capacitor has been amazing in my skill tier strikers setup. 4 pc striker with skill tiers and skill damage, memento, the sacrifice (or a Grupo/Ceska chest with preferred talent), crit chance mods everywhere. Absolutely insane weapon damage considering it's at skill tier 6. I kill heroic elites in less than a mag, and I have a drone and turret doing the same.

    • @ikia
      @ikia  7 месяцев назад +1

      agreed, it has been a pretty good buff to turret drone hybrid builds, been trying the new dttooc and +10% version a bit now, and has reinvigorated my interest in those kind of builds.

    May i ask why you prioritise burst over sustain? In Legendary content/Raids/Heroic Countdown i end up emptying numerous magazines of ammunition. Would sustain not be the more valuable parameter to prioritise?
    Many thanks

    I'm a returner who's not played much over the past many years, videos like these are such a treasure trove resource for me and I wanted to thank you for making it and ask a question.
    You say all weapons have 60% DTA in the chart, and I am assuming that it means damage to armour in this context. How is 60% DTA achieved under normal conditions with a striker build? That seems exceptionally high, or perhaps there's something about what the DTA "rate" is that I don't get.

    • @ikia
      @ikia  Месяц назад +2

      overall the 60% dta to 40% dth on average is just a number by guestimates and consensus, the real %-tage varies allot by content, difficulty and groupsize.
      as it can be very low for solo against blacktusk where it might to around 20% and as high as 95% for incursion, and still around 75% for countdown overall.
      it is in part based on experience with the game, as you have to keep in mind the health to armour ratios that the enemies have, and that one elite can make up for 2 reds, and purples are 55 armour - 45 health. and a named can push it either way depending on if its a heavy or not, with non-heavy nameds making up for 5-6 reds.
      and the way that the game does groupscaling, where it will spawn more and more purples and elites as groupsize goes up.
      it is also a value that can be altered if you want to mess around with it, by copying the sheet over to your own google drive and trying different values, there is no hard true value for it.
      but the 60% is just my pick for general play that i experience, which is some solo and some groupplay, and going into all the modes like summit, countdown and incursions/raids.

    • @jennyxj-9296
      @jennyxj-9296 Месяц назад +1

      @@ikia
      So if I'm understanding right, you're using DTA rate to describe the total ratio of how much of your outgoing damage is armour damage, rather than any stat the player has?

    • @ikia
      @ikia  Месяц назад +2

      yes, i use the term rate for stats where you can have different rates of that stat be active,
      so mostly for DTA/DTH, DTTOOC and HSD,
      meaning that that 60% dta rate signifies that i have set it to be 60% of the value of DTA and 40% of the value of DTH on a build. as a approximation to account for those stats not always being active, mostly to get more usable numbers out of it, as just using one or the other i feel gives skewed results.

      Thank you for clarifying! That's a pretty smart way of going about it because you're absolutely right about how it would skew numbers. Such a good resource for me to update from my like 4 year old high end dps builds. Definitely gonna be looking at your other sheets and videos.

    Thanks for the work you put in. I'm going to dig out my chameleon and try it. Not used it in years. Where do you get your reload time from, as I've found a lot of variances in figures and even if you take the data from the actual in game stat and look at a slo-mo video of the reload from empty, the times vary! I noted the ctar was actually notably quicker than the F2000 when using 0.25 speed analysis of the reload from empty.

    • @ikia
      @ikia  7 месяцев назад

      i use the ingame stated number,
      i have tried a few times to go by framecount and such to get exact number but was getting inconsistent result, so over time i gave up, as for most of my usage it doesnt need to be too precise, as it is more to compare between weapons.
      and indeed the ctar is weird with its number, as it is one of the few that is not the same 0.5 second difference between from empty and tactical reload.

    • @coolheadedbrit1248
      @coolheadedbrit1248 7 месяцев назад +1

      I used the Division Attribute data sourced spreadsheet that's been around and updated over the years. They have the tactical and empty reload times for the bare weapons.

    • @ikia
      @ikia  6 месяцев назад

      i know of that source, but i try to not use sources that i cant atleast somewhat verify myself, there seems to be a bit more wonky-ness than it would seems from such round numbers, it may be the behind the scenes value, but somewhere in the system they arent equating fully to ingame, and ingame itself is also just not always consistent with itself over several attempts aswell.
      and the only place the method i am using will differ is that it isnt the full reload from empty for things like strained and fasthands, but i am using it as a comparison tool and the numbers arent so far apart that it will make a significant difference in the order it comes out as.

    • @geekonomic

      I have everything rolled to weapon handling and crit damage. Try it. You'll be amazed how little difference the low crit chance makes with that kind of stability, accuracy and reload speed. Especially great on LMG builds.

      i tend to just use the elmo allot, and that is likely to continue, it is a easy fit into strikers and the weapon handling is pretty good,

    • @ikia
      @ikia  7 месяцев назад

      killer can be a good choice too, although mostly in solo where you aren't competing for kills, it loses a little of effectiveness in group,

    I owned a god roll m4. The best talent for it is flatline only?

    • @ikia
      @ikia  3 месяца назад +1

      for the m4 flatline does fit it well, but that is also build dependent, as for flatline you also need technician as the specialization, otherwise fasthands for utility or strained for damage.
      but keep in mind that the m4 is far enough behind that a famas or f2000 with 90% of the stats filled in will outdo the m4 since it somewhat got left behind in these rebalances.

    • @MrBiggieZee
      @MrBiggieZee 3 месяца назад

      @@ikia I'm playing with a build that uses technician specs. So the m4 is the only weapon that suits it. The kingbreaker was the choice b4 i got the m4.

      if you get a g36e or acr-e, give those a try, they outrank the m4 currently for flatline, but they will need to be either good drops or optimised to close to full to overtake a maxed out m4.

      i am going to do one with MMR's aswell, likely after lmgs and before smg and rifles,
      and the current picks for me are model 700, so not the m700 carbon or m700 tactical, but just the big model 700 as the highest hitter,
      and the sr-1 for a little more dmg then the white death used to do, but with 10 rounds and a fast reload, and with 2 stability mods it has no sway,
      for me that outclasses the m700 carbon/tactical and srs covert/a1 models, as they just do less and dont really add anything more in usability over the sr-1

      there have not been changes yet as i have been mostly just playing around with stuff and making these, but over the next few weeks i am going to go trough the collection and update things that need updating, mostly it will be just weapons changing to the new contenders,
      only a few builds will really get any real changes to gear beyond weapons though, mostly with intimidate now being viable for again, not much else has changed gearwise.

    This is a great comparison, but at the end of the day i think burst and sustained damage aside, St. Elmo's is still just the best AR in the game. While the damage numbers might not be the best of the best, the one thing it does bring is just pure utility. For solo play, especially when you're doing solo Legendaries and you're not quite as good with them just yet, the St. Elmo's will bail you out of a bad spot more times than you can count. I've tried DUA and Capitol Building a few times switching between a F2000 and the St. Elmo's and things just go a lot smoother when using the latter. I think this is always a bit of a fallacy when it comes to damage charts, as they often simulate ideal conditions. They don't take into account the amount of time you'll spend in cover waiting for health to regen. It's part of the reason i have just started using St. Elmo's on every AR build now. As boring as it may seem. For group play it's obviously a bit different.

    • @ikia
      @ikia  7 месяцев назад

      i will answer this question as if it is asked in good faith, just incase it is
      there has been a new season and patch recently to the game, and with it a rebalance of allot of weapons, this is a indepth look on ARs as they have had one of the bigger rebalances,
      and on a build because otherwise the discrepancies between mod slots will make some weapons look better on just burst/sustain tables.
      so this is using strikers as that build as that is the current general meta, to see how the ARs now stack up against each other for that build
