Reminder, this is NOT the only Way or Build which can clear this. Its a good Baseline for starting out with Solo Legendaries, and we can always build onto that! The Strategies are mostly designed for New/Returning Players who want to get into Solos.

One additional insight I can share from my experience is this. While mini-tanks often self-distract after the last human killed, it's unwise to always rely on this. While they may do so nine times out of ten, there are occasions when they persist in the fight. Therefore, it's crucial to remain vigilant at all times.
Once i get solo Roosevelt Island and DUA completed, I'll do this one. The only thing i would try differently is in the first area, drop a decoy on that cone and run to the top of that tower on the right side and fight from there. It would be important to target drone enemies as they could make life very difficult. I've done this strat in a group but I'm wondering how it would work in a solo run. Anyways, your tutorials are great and I'm a new sub because of that.
Life can be so easy - great job. Many thx for sharing. We had to struggle with 4 at the right spot in the end, succeeded but it was really hard. 4 full striker btw.
As someone wrote here, you are definitely one of the best players I know. Maybe you really are the best. Although that's hard to judge. Sometimes I'd like to see duos with Roterblitz, Broken or Rammbob, etc.

One of the best players to ask, if you want to solo any legendary. I wouldn’t recommend him if you’re wondering what’s the best setup for your build, because he has a different opinion than others and very bold about it. I still love you, Toastey. Very informative video. Roosevelt will be next on my bucket list.

Thanks for the tutorial. You make it look easy and, from my experience, it is not. Drones are always my downfall in the first area. I get past them occasionally but it is like 1 in 10 tries or worse. How do you deal with them (other than just shooting them)?
Hey, thanks for the kind words! If you check in the later tutorials (tidal for example) or my speedruns, its mostly about full red and knowing spawns, so you can kill them quickly before they start acting up :p what i like do to aswell, if they get in cover, get ready to shoot the drones as soon as they are put up (its always the same position, a bit over their head, youll get used to it). That deals decent dmg to them, and they usually instantly put up new ones, and you can get them killed after 3-4 destroyed ones
You have some high expertise on your gear too, just for those who are newer to the game or returning. Level that expertise as high as possible, IMO
Yes, expertise on Weapons does make it easier (especially if you run multiple blue Cores). Expertise on Armor does not really change too much, if you have every Piece on expertise 20 that equals to around 150k armor you get from it, so it is for most people just not worth the cost. I was running this with an Expertise 12 Elmo, just to make it a bit more realistic for everyone (instead of using a expertise 25 one).

Hey, vector works aswell (what i was running before project resolve too) but the banshee or mp7 are just better currently

Thanks for the guide. Gonna implement this build & some strats to all the legendary strongholds. got the game recently, completed all the way through WONY. Started fine tuning and really grinding, totalled 268 hours in two months. worked up to heroic world diff and went back through every mission on heroic. tried DUA on legendary and was blown away by the gap between heroic and legendary. Kind of hit a wall after that since i’m still not super educated on maximizing builds full potentials. this guide helped a lot.

Hey, technically you could, however ninja bp is in 99.9% the worst choice, you loose soo much by not having a backpack talent. I would not recommend Ninja bp for any build, there will be always a better choice, especially in legendary where we need the best options (which on striker honestly theres only 2, in some cases memento and everything else striker Backpack)

They must have changed something, Since I just can't get pass the dropping of the decoy. I instantly get attacked. Tried like 20 times. They are just too strong.
The Decoy Method sadly is very inconsistent, and depends on the Positioning of the Decoy. Even with the correct Positioning, theres a lot of RNG involved, for example with rainy Weather or at Night they just focus you instead of the Decoy. There is sadly nothing i found to make it more consistent
@@toasteyxgod - I actually managed to get passed the first entry with a sniper build. Had to complete the 3 phases but was easy tbh. The rest I agree using your build is much easier.
I seen on the first part where he runs all the way to the fence on the right and fight from there.
@@mt6nin825 I mange to do this with a deflector shield build. Since I wanted to bypass the chunga's which come on the second phase. Only running to the centre does this.

I wonder if anyone has ever thought about putting a assault turret up there to the right where they jump up on the right
If you do they become super aggressive, so if you can't kill them quickly they will overwhelm you
Can a console player get it completed too? I only see PC players completing legendary missions.
Sure! It might be a bit harder with controller, but im sure you are gonna get it!

@@Papawheelie75 Capitol, and especially the first Room, is very hard. Maybe try starting with DUA/Roosevelt first, to get used to it? I would say these are a bit easier, and less dependend on Luck/RNG
what happens if you put every piece striker?
@@waynepolkey2876 hey, you dont gain any brand/set bonus from piece 5+6, so it is just completly useless in that regard(aswell as only having one Attribute on the piece). So you definitly want to get something like ceska/grupo/coyote (or lots of other good choices) on top of your 4 piece

bro cant get the memento to drop been farming it for month endless exotic caches summits countdown targeted loot sections of the map and missions still cant get it to drop its frustrating
Yea i can definitly see that being annoying. Your best bet overall would be challenging countdown (maybe with some people running with you), and buy exo caches aswell from that. Sadly theres nothing else to make it easier
Use a pack with bloodsucker on it in the meantime...countdown with friends who know you need it is fastest way...if on PC we have ppl that play all the time...ya can add me if soo...UBI is DontKillJohnny

I got mine yesterday on selected loot drops, doing Cps on Open world... Heroic with 3 directives. Good luck to you.
@@lucas.avilas i got it haha after almost 2 months of grinding to get memento i was. like let me try doing some heroic countdowns i got on the second heroic countdown i did now onto the next exotic the vile mask
tried it, same build, max expertise. get raed at first area over and over. Constantly flanked, nade and drone spam. Impossible.
Yep same. If I do get passed with decoy instantly shot in the back, and my the time I reach the main elite at the gate, I have zero health. And die instantly.
at this point, its not even about being good at video games. its about knowing how the game functions and how to perfectly play out everything so it can work.
not taking credit away, this is crazy... but i have no desire to even try this. Story difficulty was cheap enough with it taking an entire mag to drop 1 person.

Well, i guess you completly missed the Point, but thats fine (probably missed the Video of my Speedrun of this Mission on my Channel aswell). As you can see in the description, or as said multiple times in the video, this is a Guide intended for newer/returning Players who want to try their Hands at Solo Legendary. You are always welcome to make your own Guide without a Shield if you feel you couldve done better.
