Hi🙂 I'm 55 and, like you, I spend a lot of time on my skincare but I like makeup to be uncomplicated and quick to apply! I have tried the Madara skin equal soft glow foundation and I love how it looks on my skin.... Also love the Estée Lauder zero smudge mascara and the Dior lip oil🙂....These are the 3 items I need 😂
I haven't heard of the foundation, so I definitely need to give that a try! I'm heard SO much about the Dior lip oils, so I guess I better add that to the list too! Thank you for the tips 🙏

I can’t wait to try the Halo glow! Going to pick it up today. I crave dewy light coverage on my 47 year old skin so this sounds perfect.

Love Trinny BFF but I'm leaning more and more to my Clarins Detox BB cream one small pump does whole face or for a sheer look I use half pump, dewy and generous 45 ml tube.

Yep, barely there is my jam too. Three ideal to 5 max I cannot get my Thrive mascara to dry down. But definitely no budge I totally didn’t know the Benefit tints are for lips!! Must try!! ❤❤❤

@@SkinObsessedMary Right ? Maybe I’ll let it stand open a bit to dry out. I’ve heard some people do this with mascaras that are kind of wet. It seems a little counterintuitive, but I don’t know, I may give it a go. 🤣
Hi Mary, love your more natural look. You look amazing without any makeup. At soon to be 63, I have to have: brows( I have very very sparse ones) mascara , bronzer and a touch of blush, oh, and I do need a tiny dot of a color corrector and or concealer just under my eyes in inner corner to attempt to even out my eye troughs. I don’t even wear eyeshadows anymore as I think they age my eyes even more so. Thank you, Iam going to go purchase the Elf Halo Glow? And try it. My skin is almost too glowy, depending on which SPF I am wearing. Hope you and Invisible Gary, and your girls had a great Memorial Day weekend
Thanks Karla. I agree about the brow, so I got them done last summer and it was the BEST investment. So now I don't have to do anything at all. I'd say I'm due for a touch-up this summer.
Love those 3 items, Mary. I've yet to try the Thrive mascara - I tried ordering but there is no option for delivering to Ireland. I'll search around. I need a tubing mascara. Benetint i love and thanks for the rec for the new one - I'll look out for it. Murphy's Law that you misplace it when trying to show us!!🙂

Cannot wait to try the halo glow once my CT has run out - if it really is a dupe then it will be on my staples list!! have you tried the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint yet? It is a skincare product with a tint and it it GORGEOUS - absolutely beautiful - and my skin LOVES it. Would love to know what you think. It has totally replaced my beloved Armani luminous silk foundation! xxx

I need your help. Love your fabulous look but for some reason I don’t like a glowy face on me. What would you suggest to use in place of the ELF? Can’t recall that I’ve ever seen anyone else use only 3 products. What an innovator!
Awww....thank you! I'm definitely a less is more kinda gal.
As for non-glowy - it's really not somehting I experiment with. What I probably would do use a powder foundation. My favorite is Laura Geller NY Baked Foundation. I've done a few videos and absolutely love it. It's fantastic on mature skin and doesn't leave super glowy finish (though it doesn't dry me out).
Good video! I sometimes wear the MDSolarSciences Mineral sunscreen and it has a really nice blurring property...but I have have some freckles, and when I go out I like to put a bit of foundation to try and equal things out. I should try a tubing mascara, maybe they are easier to remove?..Anyway, I wondered if you've tried the RMS Uncoveup Concealer as a foundation yet. Penn.Smith uses it every day as her foundation. p.s. Have you tried the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter, I've heard it compared with the Elf. What do you think?
The RMS concealer is standing by....maybe I'll do a video on it because quite a few people have asked. I saw the Penn Smith video too. As for Flawless Filter, I haven't tried yet. The elf is so affordable, I haven't bothered. They say elf is the dupe (but I'd assume CT's will be more sophisticated). Have you tried it?
@@SkinObsessedMary No, the Charlotte is too pricey, but I do use the Photography Fluid by Niod, it's beautiful on, it has a slight glow and you can use it like the elf product. I wonder how it would look under the Flawless Filter or the Elf Halo Glow. Maybe you'd look like a disco ball, or maybe the glow would be subtle.
Can u please tell me if you recommend any clinical treatment that is effective because your face so tight and lift
I haven't done clinical treatments. I do my stuff at home - red light therapy, microcurrent and radio frequency - and sunscreen / good skincare is essential.

I kno its not relevant 2 this video,but awhile back u did a video & it was about some of ur favorite things,i cant find the video but thats ok,i was just wondering if u could tell me the name of 1 of the items u spoke about in that video,it was something u use in ur mouth or on ur teeth & i think u said u sleep in it im not sure,but u did say u think it helped align ur jaw & maybe kept u from clenching ur teeth at nite,can u tell me the name of the item & where i can find it? I would really appreciate it, 52 also & i love ur videos.
