yes, unfortunately. besides this glamorous picture that portraits in media - it has a very dark side and I hope that nowadays it's not like that. but imo modeling is one of the most unhuman industries. a lot of sick people works there and it makes me so sad that they use a young girls to literally exploit them and abuse.

In the 00's the industry was obsessed with super nerror bodies, and this type of body is more typical for teenagers under 17, so almost all the models of the 00's were terribly young. Irina Kulikova, for example, was a top model already in 2005, she was 13 years old, and closer to 19 years old, interest in her disappeared. Marcan was also 13. Only in 2018 the fashion industry up the minimum age requirement for models to 16 years old
