Late to this review. In the market for something different, lite and nibble for my runs. I got plenty of expensive headphones 🎧 and been using my Apple air pods and now I need an alternative for my runs that got good sound but sleek and less conspicuous. Thanks for this.
JBL is legit the best sound product in existence these are only 32 dollars at my local store and they sound incredible especially after changing eq truly destroys these other over priced brands I have high dollar ones and the difference isn’t worth hundreds of dollars
I noticed a huge improvement to my bass/sound quality once I changed my cushions out to the larger ones and got my EQ setup just right. Mine to tend to start working there way out but I’m wondering if I can’t get some memory foam cushions to help with this. Overall for the price and the fact you get a ton of battery life, I’m happy with my purchase of these!

I just got these earbuds and I had to check out your video. I've noticed that you can turn the earbuds off through the JBL app on your phone. You can't turn them back on without the charging case. To turn them back on you will need the charging case.
Oh, I wish I knew. My editing app just lost a lot of access to songs, so I can't find that song. I need to put the songs in the description of future videos.
I got mine during the Black Friday sale at A$80! dearer than everyone here. Mine are white, I didn’t use them for a while cause the sound is too soft and I didn’t know how to turn the volume up. It got a little better after downloading the app and made the adjustment. Even after adjusting, the sound is still not as loud as I expected, I have a few pairs of earbuds bought online, the sound is loud and clear. Can you please advise me how I can increase the volume. I must mention, I am quite hard of hearing and need to wear hearing aids. If the cheap ones at a fraction of the price have loud sounds I think these LBJ should have good volume control. These have a little more bass. But the main difference is how they fit in your ears. The beam fit really solid in most ears. As far as sound quality, they are very similar.
Got them yesterday for $26 in my local store here in Sweden feels very odd for this quality. They was about to give me a even lower price by mistake but i corrected them felt like i robbed the, xD Could as well have cost about 80

So the newest JBL budget Earbuds are the Beam and Buds, but these are better than past budget Earbuds because they get app support. Allowing them to get updates and gives you the ability to customize them.
The bass is good once enabled through the mobile app equalizer. All other functions suck. The ambient sound is so quiet I'm not able to have a conversation while wearing these. They dont stay in place when my ears are sweaty or when chewing food. The battery life isnt as good as my Samsung Buds+. The touch controls are VERY slow. Play/pause has about a 1 second delay. Activating ambient sound takes a good 2-3 seconds. There's no F-ing lid! WTF JBL. There is no option to change what a long press does. In all configurations a long press opens voice assistant. That's annoying. Over all these buds have decent bass. All other functions suck bad. I still prefer my Samsung Buds+.

I'll be honest JBL earbuds don't have the best bass. I'm someone who like more dynamic bass vs. Heavy hitting bass. But I usually feel I'm getting enough bass from there headphones. I'd try the JBL Tune 130NC next and see if they get that thump! 👍🙂

@@AtHomewithLucas Heavy metal sounds crystal clear and nice deep bass. At least on Tidal. Tidal has really high bitrate. All music is FLAC just different bitrate but FLAC is non compression format.

Not the perfect fit for me. The volume and the EQ settings depend on the device you are playing music on, so try different EQ for each. I like 'em though.
The headphones turn off when you put them in their case. They should be in the case whenever you aren't using them. If they don't turn off when put in case it's because the battery is dead and needs to be charged.
@@AtHomewithLucasThanks a lot! My experience is almost nil and the few headphones I have always had I could turn off completely. With these new ones I can not do it and when you put them in your box the battery is charged, even having 60%
So, if the Pro M1 has the ability to change the microphone to Bluetooth, then it should work. My S23 Ultra has camera pro mode, so I can set the microphone to Bluetooth and then record using the earbuds.
@@AtHomewithLucas I have a few. Edifier TWS1 pro couple of Soundpeats with different style, I have the Final ZE3000. And the Fiio UTWS5 with 4 pair of IEMs. The rest of them are wired.
Sounds like me lol I have a lot...I now use one pair for one device. I have one that only pairs to my kitchen echo one for my tv one for my computer and so on lol 😆 I just hate when you take out your earbuds to connect to a device then upstairs it's connected to my computer lol

Yes, the microphones will only pick up your voice, canceling out most noise.

Have you tried holding down on the button on the earbud? Should turn them back on.

Yes if the app does a 10 seconds back and 30 seconds forward. The earbuds only control what the app allows.

No, the magnets are much stronger than most earbuds with a lid, so they really stay locked in.
