listening to morganna reply to kasumi about her outfit has me thinking: besides for obvious marketing reasons, how are their rebellions similar?
I originally thought it was just because she saw Joker as a rebel and took after him subconsciously.
It was because of him that she realized what she needed to do, not just because he's a symbol of rebellion. Their outfits are based on what they think represents their idea of rebellion in their own way, including how much Joker had influenced Violet, so it makes sense her outfit matches his.
@@sparklingraine let's not forget that her support started as a deal for Joker to teach her to be more outgoing
I never got that conversation in my playthrough, but I did get the one where she comments that the Phantom Thieves' outfits are uncoordinated. Joker was the only one there when she first Awakened, so I figure she just took a cue from that, especially since she hadn't found her actual rebellion at the time.
Though thinking on it, the other Phantom Thieves were each aware of the abusive individual they were standing up against. Joker did not know Kamoshida or his history and stood up to his shadow solely to protect Ryuji, and Violet was literally unaware of the abuse she had suffered. Everyone else had been victimized by Kamoshida/Madarame/Cognitive Wakaba/et cetera and finally found the will to stand up to their abuser.
Instead they spend most of their early interactions bonding over being labeled; the criminal transfer student and the undeserving honor student, two people everyone avoided, gossiped about and constantly expected to fail. The other Shujin thieves also got their fair share of that, but I can see a case that Joker and Violet rebelled _specifically_ against their labels rather than the individual who forced that label upon them.
They're both prisoners of fate. There's so many parallels between them that I can't help but feel that she was intentionally developed as the 'canon' romance. I played Persona 5 Royal *first* - and from that perspective, she seems like the, by far, most appropriate choice.
@@nivyanIn early development, an alternative protagonist was planned, much like in Persona 3 Portable. It's likely that this protagonist was repurposed as Sumire, if I had to guess. Whether or not that's true is probably readily-available information but I'm too lazy to check.

Honestly, everytime I hear the reaper I get flashbacks to when I first played p3 as a kid... it was really traumatic the first time I faced him

Whenever Death would come in P3 I would make my party split up so Death would target them as bait.
I get ya but for me P3 reaper was terrifying. Recently I was replaying my p3p back and I realized that I get more anxious when the lights dimmed out and even worse when I'm the only party alone... 😱
Lol, I ve never meet the reaper in my first Gameplay. So I was playing my +new game in Mementos. Suddenly, in one level Futaba said "Joker, becareful... ". Something random that never occurs in my whole first Gameplay happened. The enemies where in red (normal, could happens), but I couldn't see very well because there were an intensive red aura (that's wasn't normal). I saw a demon treasure and I went to atcak them. But the reaper appears and catch me. (impossible because I wasn't there more than 10 seconds, and I didn't hear the chain's sound). I was level 40, but because it was my +new game I had Satan at level 99,and Maria and other OP personas. But the reaper made a insta kill on me. I lost all my progress after my last save, and it was a lot. I really felt in shock. By this event, I really get scare of the reaper when I hear chain's sound. Because I didn't know that the reaper was so OP and in one movement could kill you. (sorry for my English). I will come back to my revange. Also is easy to escape from him, just open the map and go up or down the floor. Is easy when I want to stay in some level of Mementos a los of time to farm enemies or random events.

I think it’s because joker is, to her, an ideal rebel or an embodiment of rebellion, while his ideal rebel is an antihero gentleman theif with a penchant for theatrics.
@@sophiaperez1090 considering what we know of her life and family before P5R it's probable that she already had that idea of what a rebel was supposed to be for her, seeing Joker in his outfit was more likely just the image that cemented the idea

Like Sumi mentioning the dislocated shoulder, haru commenting on it followed by futaba mentioning how much it hurts, then ryuji just ending it by talking about being grossed out

I would love that buuuuuut if someone (idk why tho) plays the spin off then plays royal, they wouldnt have the satisfaction of seeing the plot twist, ya know? Maybe the promotional stuff should only promote her codename of Violet, but in the game she is still Sumire

I have an idea for a fanfic story, though it might be a good hybrid of a sequel/spin-off for P5R and P5S.
Joker returns to Tokyo after being thrown out of his home, but was apprehended by a rouge branch of law enforcement seconds after getting off the train, separating him from Morgana, who runs off to Yongen-Jaya to alert Futaba.
Joker was then transported to a prison outside the city limits with a reputation that not one prisoner had been seen leaving and sent into an isolation cell, with two other inmates close to his age: Goro Akechi and an American Boy named Mike Powell in an Orange Jumpsuit, due to lack of traditional Japanese prison garments of his size.
Later that night, Joker’s, Akechi’s and Mike’s cell doors were automatically unlocked, which the guards came in a large horde seconds later. As they ordered them to stay in their cells, they were suddenly transported into the Metaverse and both Joker’s and Akechi’s clothes changed into their rebellious formes.
They then escaped along with the third boy out of the prison, learning that the warden himself had ordered the executions of the prisoners and cremated them after, even if they were framed. After escaping into the entry courtyard, they were confronted by the warden, who was a Palace Ruler of the prison and immediately took the form of a tank.
As Joker and Crow were about to go down fighting, Mike stepped forward and exclaimed that the warden reminded him of his abusive father who killed his mother maliciously just as he escaped his home; he then remarked that he wasn’t strong enough to face him, but he swore that he’d defy those who hurt others for malicious reasons.
His inner shadow then called out to him and praised him for his determination, before forging a contract with him. As his shadow said ‘I am Thou, Thou art I…’, Mike stomped his right and left foot hard, creating miniature fissures that glowed red hot with pent up rage. He then glared at the Shadow Warden, showing his eyes burning orange flames and gritting his teeth before clenching his fists and let out a bellowing roar, summoning his linked Persona: The Fire Demon, Ifrit.
The Shadow Warden was swiftly defeated by Ifrit and just turned back to normal, before he was kicked towards the gates with such force that they were ripped clean off, with numbers of cameras, reporters and militia soldiers waiting outside.
After answering some questions for the media, Joker, Akechi and Mike were given a lift to Public Security to be interviewed by investigators.
In short: Joker returns and wounds up reviving the Phantom Thieves for a third time, with the assistance of a globally renown enforcement agency who aids them in taking down key figures of Tokyo. Akechi and Sumire returns, who are officially part of the group this time after the former’s unknown fate in P5R and the latter being an official love interest to Joker.
Two new playable Characters are in the story too: Mike, who’s both an offensive role and has a unique Trait called Battle Cry, which has a rare chance to raise all stats on a turn. The other is Talia, a female fox who has an infatuation with Morgana and was made two years prior to the events of P5/R.
Zenkichi and Sophia returns too, but only if you have a saved file of Persona 5 Scramble/Strikers.
It’s just an idea and I doubt it’d be a good idea, but I just want to lay it out there.
I wonder if Kasumi can teach how to a standing split and stretching?
For a video idea, could you show all of the teams lines reacting to Maruki stopping them from using certain skills

Why don't Akechi and Kasumi never speak to each other? I can understand Akechi not replying to the other members, but why not to Kasumi?
@judasxoxo I mean it's obvious he only cares about joker. But I don't think he hates everyone else, they're just there.
He really only cares about Joker (not care about joker but like a "interest-care" in joker) and the rest of the team are just a background to him

This is exactly why Kasumi is everyone's kouhai. Too naive to resist, and is even younger than Futaba to boot! If only Atlus now knows her true identity is public knowledge, then they should give us a revised version of Scramble involving her as the new second in command of the Phantom Thieves, and the main character you control...

Not really. She's too shy and passive for a leadership role. Being a fan favorite doesn't make a character leadership material.
@@geekygamer7199 Though I could picture her character development in the game actually kicking in full-force because Strikers is essentially an expanded version of her character arc that runs on almost all boss characters, and saving them the way her allies saved her would show how she matured a few months after her character focus in Royal.

@@roseviaryn7353 If I could easily recognize this, Sumire's birthday is a month behind Futaba, so she's technically younger.

That’s the main drawback I have about her. The phantom thieves are always so courteous and kind towards her but she always looks so aloof and distant . It’s like she is nice cause they are jokers friends. I don’t know she doesn’t gel well with them.

Reaper only shows up if you stay in one place for too long
stay in the same floor for a little bit and he’ll show up to get ya
It takes roughly about 5 minutes in one area for the Reaper to spawn in
@@calxcalibur Reaper can also appear randomly on a floor of mementos from the start; Futaba or Morgana will warn the player of an exceptionally powerful shadow being on that floor.
