I saw some clips of the anime, but some were disturbing so I forgot about it. With your explanation I understand better & might try watching it now. It's easy to forget character names. You might consider making a list of names before recording in the future.
I'm terrible with names in general! I'm surprised I can remember most of the names from Sugar Apple Fairy Tale. I think the series is worth a read or watch because I feel like it is a solid work of social commentary, and I think it's going to head into a more epic storyline (of course, I could be wrong).
Helloo! I was thinking about buying the light novel to continue where the anime was left, but I found out that basically only 5 vols are translated. Do you think there are details that were not shown in the anime? Or should I just wait for the rest of the story to be translated? Thankss!!!
The Light Novels clarified a few details that I either missed or didn't pay attention to, but in general, the anime adaptation has been very faithful to the books. I'm looking forward to seeing if the sixth volumes has more details than the show. I'd say that if you love (or really like) the anime, you may want to pick up the Light Novels.
Always nice to see you reading more Sugar Apple. As a huge fan of the series I would easily take 30+ vols of this series 😭💕 (But I also get how all those vola can be intimidating for a collector too 🥲) Also, hoping the series sells well enough for Yen Press that they'll also print those last 3 sequel light novels as well 🥰
There are 19 volumes and I think it's still going, so we may get 30 or more! I am a bit concerned about the shelf-space, but I'll keep reading as long as the story stays strong (and it gets translated).
