You are slightly mistaken. Yulan confirmed that Rosette is the ‘secret’ fiancé to Claudia when he confronts her. He believes that she might be acting as a false friend to Violette to harm her. However, it is made clear that while Rosette did partly become friends with Violette to keep an eye on her, she does legitimately like Violette. She also shows concern for her multiple times. In the manga, as of this point, Claudia has yet to announce a fiancé. Instead, he is conducting marriage interviews to decide who to choose, and Rosette wishes for him to choose her because it would benefit her home country. In Chapter 19, she tells Violette this, and Violette is supportive only for the marriage interview between Claudia and Rosette to go poorly.

I absolutely loved your review on Loving Yamada kun at Level 999! It's super cute, and I'm totally on board for season two ASAP. Regarding the age gap between Akane and Yamada, I believe Akane is in her second year of college while Yamada is in his senior year of high school, which is why they are 20 and 18, respectively. As for the anime, please watch it, Mary. It's so cute. In terms of Yamada's personality, he would actually be a kuudere, someone who is quiet, calm, and patient, mostly to their love interest. There are other anime similar to or like Loving Yamada kun at Level 999, such as A Sign of Affection, My Love Story, My Happy Marriage, Snow White with the Red Hair, Wotakoi: Love is Hard for an Otaku, Romantic Killer, Peach Girl, and Horimiya. I don’t know all the details, but Volume 5 will feature them as adults, and they have a son who has more royal features than the child of the current Prince which apparently causes some debates. Violette is apparently protective of her son, and is glad her mother is no longer around because she’s certain her mother would kidnap him.
