不知道作者對兩岸的觀點是甚麼，但身為台灣人我真的看了很感動
第一次看到有作者這麼細膩的把國民黨/中華民國（仕紳）/台灣人劃分出來，這簡直就是把台灣一直以來的掙扎都透徹的解剖
國民政府來台迄今已經八十多年了，台灣的人民卻還在困惑於自己的身分而爭論不休；我親眼看到我的上一輩在小時候是如何崇拜黨國思想，思想沒在白色恐怖時代覺醒的他們活了下來，第一次看見這個小島嶼也有人民直選的時刻是多麼興奮，又在接下來的歲月裡學會批判政府和捍衛自己的理想，並終於從黨和大中國思想的陰影裡解放。
我從來沒去過中國，更別說被中共統治；我沒能看見中國在習近平時代前較為開放的網路風氣，提到兩岸也只能聽見叫得最大聲的小粉紅，對我來說、我成長的地方就只有這個小島，這個人又多又擠、談到政府就鬧哄哄吵翻天的小破島；而就像歌詞說的「死去的必須是你，留下的必須是我」，我不會說很高興國民政府撤退來台，但我認同在當時這是必然的事，而我們也花了好久和自己和解、劃清過去跟現在，我只想說，我還是很高興、能當個台灣人。
我觉得哪里都有它脏的一面，无论是大陆还是台湾，但是再怎么争执，千百年之后不过是一场笑话，最多是历史书上的一行字。或许还能遇到一个感兴趣的人，再去翻开它，研究这两个党派之间究竟发生过什么。但更大的可能是，这一切都会随之离去。

共以外的角色是國民黨（藍頭）跟中華民國在中國時期（戴眼鏡的）跟現在的中華民國台灣（穿帽Ｔ），配合歌詞「死去的必須是你，留下的必須是我」同時可以是共對民國說，也是台灣對中華民國說，作者細膩的表達了台灣人對於中華民國的身份不認同與割裂，認為自己是台灣人而非中華民國，但現階段又無法改名改國號，所以你可以在影片裡看到台灣打碎中華民國的畫（鏡子？）
大概就是這樣，希望能解答疑惑，儘管我的可能解讀不是最正確的
