It would be great help if you reply to my comment !! I'm 1st year bhms student . I can't decide what should I do after my last year ! Also I really love homeopathy . At first I thought it's worst field because everyone told me there's nothing in this field . But now when I'm in first year I can tell it was my destiny to be here .
I won't feel that happiness and satisfaction in other field .
The ones who speaks bad about homeopathy never actually showed interest in it . If you show interest + study smartly you can become best doctor in BHMS too .
Hey dear, so you have answered your own question. When you love your science so much, you should practise it once your done with your studies. Make the most out of your internship, start taking more interest in materia medica and organon. Later once you are done either you can take up MD hom, do your private practise, work with an experienced homoeopath, or take a job of MO.

I mean mujhe bhi Aisa hi lgta h ki is field me respect nahi milegi homeopathy doctors ko kon hi puchta h or society bhi pta nhi kya kya kehti h so main dar rhi hu admission lene me bhms me but mere parents mujhe forced kar rhe h ki bhms me admission le le or sath sath neet ke prep karti reh to kya ye karna thik rhega I mean can we manage both or it will hard and is homeopathy have future

@@himanshi-vp1fc see as I already took admission in BHMS I would tell you truth without any filter.. bhms course is actually very good only if you really have any interest in it . Or you have trust in yourself that no matter what people say I'll become the best doctor then you'll become ONE .
Take admission in BHMS only if you're interested otherwise it's useless just like society thinks .
If you're determined you want to become an MBBS doctor then take a drop only if you trust yourself enough .
@@himanshi-vp1fc In my whole batch there was this single student who made it to MBBS while in BHMS first year. But he was missing most of his classes etc. and if he wouldn’t have cleared and got admission in MBBS, he would have definitely struggled in BHMS. I hope this answers part of your question. Now comes what’s society will say! Well they always have something to say. So that shouldn’t be your concern, coming to should you do BHMS or not. You need to reflect and decide. No one can give you the right answer to it!

In UPSC Hom the vacancies for general category are like 10 and the no of students are 4000+ . One needs to be exceptional to crack this exam, for the vast majority Medical homeopathy officer is not a career option.
Well, I do understand your point, but the thing it is still a career option. In my own experience everyone who has worked hard and given their best efforts have cracked the exam. It’s all about where your interests lie, how diligent you are, and of course a tiny amount of luck. But, if UPSC hom, is not in the picture you can still apply for other job options like JRF, SRF, consultant doctor etc,

UPSC has an age limit of 32. It takes 9 years to finish BHMS, MD. We have very less no of attempts to Crack UPSC after MD
Yeah but you also have a good number of attempts to clear it. So don’t worry and go for it !!

There is no such preference just take the subject which interests you the most.

Base pay is usually 50-60k but with everything adding up, up to a lakh I guess. This is for a medical officer.
Working with charity places can range from 10k-20k
Other private clinics could be of similar range.
