I think that - with "Punch drunk love" - this is the only Adam Sandler movie I can stand to watch, and watch again, and again, and again, especially for this beautiful finale.
If it's true her memory resets every night when she sleeps, what were to happen if she pulled an all nighter and didn't sleep? Would she retain her new memories longer as she stays awake or would they reset anyway?
So ive always kinda liked this movie... But the other night i got high (and i dont smoke like i used to bc it gives me super anxiety and i just dont like the way it makes me feel anymore and i cant function normally, therefore i only smoke really late right before i lay down for the night) and i over analyzed tf out of this movie. If you think about it, its really kinda super fucked up on adam sandlers side of it. I understand that you cant help who you love and most people would do whatever it takes to be with that person they feel that way for. BUUUTTT, "tricking/manipulating" someone to fall in love with you every single day for the rest of your lives in an attempt to give her a "chance at a normal life" kind of seems (i cant figure out the word for how i want to explain it) unethical i guess? Idk. Now that im not high i dont feel weirded out by the movie plot anymore. But when i was high, it sketched me tf out lol. Cant explain it tho..
Yes, i agree. Its messed up. But you gotta remember, depending on her mood today… tomorrow it would be played out. If shes mad today, she will be bitchy tomorrow. If shes happy today, she will be in a good mood tomorrow
