Do we get half off if we quit halfway through?
Yeah Pip! Yeah!
Atleast let yourself get 2 tiles per 99? Love this
Edit. Maybe a tile/skotizo kc?
You say the iron sword isn't a great upgrade from the pickaxe, but it is! It attacks a tick faster, which is huge extra damage over time
I actually think you could have kept the 32 tiles considering how limited your tile count is to begin with
Agreed
Relax its limited to one episode. We all know pip
Yeah I was in agreement. Maybe the rules could state he gets those tiles back if he maxes. Still very extreme.
I definitely think he should add them back in. It would make more sense that his tiles match his total level
I think it would be funny if he could somehow have the 32 tiles randomly placed to where he doesn’t even know where they are lol.
The account should theoretically max at 2277 total. I was shouting at my screen why you've wasted your given total level 32 tiles. That is like maxing 2277 total within 2246 tiles instead of 2277.
A random legend has joined the chat
The mystic slayerMusiq, oooh! He is our master! He chooses who will go and who will stay
Hi and welcome to my comment.
Fair point
k thanx bye.
I'm gonna say it: I'm doubting if this is a realistic goal
He knows it is. settled does this stuff with a ton of theory crafting and it still takes alot. hes not even sure what monsters he wants to kill lol
@@Cjconway12 ya lol Settled would've said "I need to use 300 tiles to get the whatever to get me to phase 2" and would've been practicing fight caves on an alt using 50 tiles or something
@@Zm4rf It's more like "I need to use 300 tiles to get the whatever to get me to phase 2 of part 3 of the 1st step of the 4th incarnation of the *MASTER PLAN*(TM)".
On one hand the custom starting tile helps, and he's going into it with a different cost analysis than Settled, but he kinda also needs to unlock all the skills to train, and this also feels like even more of a recipe for burnout
@@descuddlebat It was also eventually brought to my attention that there was no farming, fishing, mining or smithing to be done in that city as well. Nor are their any knives for fletching, and the nearest cuttable tree is almost 100 tiles away.
So that's no woodcutting, fire making, fletching, fishing, mining, smithing, agility, herblore, hunting, slayer, farming, runecrafting, or cooking(the only level 1 options for cooking in that city is an imp which you DON'T attack if you are a tileman, since if it teleports on you, you will chase it to the end of the Earth).
That's a possible 1274 tiles he just can't get unless he spends 500+ tiles leaving his starting location to find a new home, or lamps the skills for 10000+ hours to get a possible training method.
(I don't know if there is a reliable form of crafting experience to be had from level 1, but am willing to assume there is. Otherwise that is another 98 tiles he will not be able to get without a serious investment.)
His choice of starting tile more than halved the number of skills he had to train.
Then again, there isn't really anywhere you can go to that has a large number of trainable skills from level 1.
Maybe you should do a tile for each collection log slot filled aswell? Gets you more tiles but still just as challenging with more zontent
Don't start to get to serious already. This is maybe the last episode, maybe on more tbh
i too like this idea pip
Agreed 😊
+1
@Michael B did you just compare this to Settled? Settled made multiple IM, spend years in Morytania.
I'll commit to subscribing when you commit to finishing a series
Glad someone said it
Same
@@Josh_from_TexasI'm damn pissed someone said it
Being a tileman is so last year zzz
My life was ruined when he stopped posting
I'd really enjoy seeing you add in collection log slots as tile unlocks, it would create lots more content and open up further possibilities for the account. As the account progresses, tile unlocks will slow down so much, adding a randomized element would keep things interesting.
I’m guessing 3 episodes tops before he drops this series too
This dude flip flops accounts more than skill specs dies
100% Pip burns out before doing anything big with this series. He gave up before getting anywhere good on his old tile man, and that was a JOKE for how easy it was compared to one tile per total level.
You should get 99 tiles whenever you get a skill up to 99, that way it can be super hype going all the way to 99
Super slow content though
I would wanna see how this run goes but I'm gonna wait until the future, since it seems like every series is dropped before it starts to get going.
Pip - "no one ever comes here"
Me - "where the fuck is here"
It feels weird being able to freely walk around my house after watching this.
ran out of tiles before I unlocked the fridge and starved to death.
Thanks John. 🙏🤟
I'm excited. But this is wild lmao. Hope you don't burn out!
This is actually so stupidly crazy
Yes, he did stupid ideas before and kept it with 1 a 2 episodes.
I love this dedication. I mean settled was crazy for going questing so much but you really push the limits brava.
I don't even play runescape, I'm just extremely fascinated that it's possible to play a game like this
Do any series ever get completed?
Man has 20 different series
Man can start a streaming platform with all the series
Suggestion: regain one of the 32 tiles if you obtain a 99
That's actually a pretty good one. Or maybe each 99 gives 10 tiles?
That is a really great ide. Love it.
I definitely think you should count the initial levels. By not using them, you're not getting the 2277 total levels that you can possibly get.
Yay a new series that gets half way done :D, so many creators half ass-ing after they are so annoyed by the restrictions they set on themselves :D
I'm digging this idea so I hope you've got a solid plan to work with
I like your content and admire your want to try an extreme challenge but something like this just isn't possible. If you don't use the mini game tele to the tzhaar fight caves then you need 500 tiles alone just to walk over there. Those 5 tiles to make cake thieving more easy feel worth it now but once you get near just 80 stats those 5 tiles will have effectively cost you likely a week of grinding. A challenge like this would be just as fun to watch if 1 level equaled 3 tiles and then it might be possible but as it stands this would take years to accomplish as is.
I love this content! maybe add collection log, combat diaries, achievement diaries, finishing quests, maybe even getting certain boss KC? to add some flare
Awesome idea man! That’s crazy out the box playing! Nice job man, keep it up!
Haven't watched the full video yet, but I hope this one is more entertaining for you. I loved the tileman series, but totally understand how it loses the magic. Hope this one sparks it up again for you!
Great stuff! Super excited to see where this goes
2 episodes
Bro loving this type of content can’t wait to see all the progress you’re gonna make in this series. Keep up the good work 😎 might even make a tile man myself
Enjoy the two episodes
i like this idea!! you make the video interesting too thats fun!
I like this concept more than the regular tileman. Very nice!
It's Happery!!! Wooooo!
This series is going to be abandoned after 3 episodes
Nice serie! Love it pip
Add the beginning 32 tiles when you hit 750 total
Gave it a like the intro. I really liked the original series, but I definitely see your point of it becoming too easy. Everything required just a few hours of woodcutting. I'm excited for this series!
I also play with a special restriction, it's called Job Man mode, where I have to go to work and can't play and when I have free time to do so I am too tired
It's pretty brutal to be honest
i hope im wrong, hyped for the idea, but 1 total for 1 tile i think youll burn at 1750 at most since you cant really unlock proper skilling methods to go much higher in most skills at that time. also i think you're good to use the starting 31 tiles since that fits the total level idea:p
It is not a well thought out concept imo. If he provided ways of obtaining more tiles by rng based ways such as (collection log bonus, quest/achievement diary complete bonus, random event bonuses, total exp goal provide bonuses) would strengthen his concept.
THE LEGEND IS BACKKKK
Dont know if you started doing this later but you can pretty easily melee flinch npcs by luring them to the furthest tile in their attack range, then stepping 1 tile away, and back in with the right timing its a lot faster than flinching for example to take down the skeletons in the catacombs without taking any hits from them, you could do it in that long straight stretch of path, before you're strong enough to kill them head on
that's a little too complicated for him I think
you should have kept the iron dagger for a +1 magic attack bonus
as a supporting comment amongst the common hate, i think its ok for you to stop and start series when you arent having fun! always remember that if you arent having fun the content is less enjoyable so just do what you like. this series looks hype as hell
This is actually too absurd, I don't like it but I'm glad you're enjoying OSRS
I give it max 2 episodes. Like all 20 other series
Dudes gonna quit this in like 2 weeks
cool idea! Looking forward to the series
This is only one episode serie, relax
If you set the XP cost of a tile to 50*1.005^N where N is the number of tiles already unlocked, you can achieve a somewhat similar curve without strictly limiting yourself to 2246 tiles. The first tile costs 50 XP, but the 2000th tile costs just over 1,000,000.
I don't know if it would be possible to put this into the tileman plugin though.
I have no idea how you are going to do this but im all in!
Good luck!
All in for one episode
@@Ruutger mate you’ve replied like 10x times
@@YaBoyTJD more
Interesting idea, good luck!
Hey pip. The sword is actually a decent upgrade from the axe and pickaxe, due to attack speed. Dagger and shortsword have a 4 tick attack speed, where the axe and pick have a 5 tick attack speed. That is a 20% increase in DPS from just hitting things faster.
This is CRAZY, but I think it's possible given enough time. Seems like the best option is to get Sarachnis cudgel and grubby chest supplies to attempt a melee fire cape.
Should call it "Total Level Tile Man"
Use prayer in the catacombs. Burying bones gives back prayer there
Uh....am I deaf or is there no audio in this video...?
Edit: NEVERMIND...I HAD MY ENTIRE TAB MUTED
Glad you are enjoying this series but I really enjoyed your old one
Adamant Scimitar from Bloodveld down there is a good upgrade down the line
good luck getting 50 slayer
thank you pip for being a good RuneScape RUclipsr we trust you now here at Jagex :)
I trust this series won’t make it past 3 episodes
Nice someone finally did it. When I saw the first tileman years ago I always thought the 1000 exp didn't make sense and total levels would make a better series.
The series if its even finished ends in like 3 episodes, 2000 tiles allows you to do next to nothing
@@aresgodofgaming2309 That's a good thing. Being too ambitious usually ends in series that never get finished.
What an absolute mad lad
Needed this
I give this 8 episodes before the quit
I like how you’re making the game harder on yourself to get back to the “basics” of nostalgia (the grind). On the contrary, Jagex is coming out with “new” & “better” content which ultimately makes the game wayyyyyy easier to gain levels/skill than it was 10 years ago… Comparing OSRS today to RS2 and even Classic, the leveling in normal game mode is at least 2-3 times faster/easier due to the current state of game play. Awesome content bro!
It's so big, I can flinch it!
-Regrettable lines with Pip
what a twist. This is going to be HAAAAARD.
You would think that after like 30 hours of stopping a man from reaching in your pockets, you would stop walking by him.
I think what really faded was the fact you left your Piptileman account for another account. Its not like you finished it to start something new.
addiction is when u do something despite negative consequences. dont not do the thing, just dont do it to the point u experience negativity.
Go for it man!
Great video, super cool idea for an account. Im really looking forward to the next episode
Pip Skylark and his shiny teeth are back! Rejoice!
HE DIT IT, HE'S BACK
“Why do these people hate hands” he asks, as he pickpockets this poor woman into bankruptcy
Getting the fire cape? Lol max total is 2277, so 2277 tiles. Well thought.....
the pickace has higher crush accuracy than the dagger or the longsword, and using crush against skeletons (weak to crush) would be more effective damage & xp/hour!
how the hell has it been a year since pip's first tileman video. It's been like 2 months dude please don't tell me a year has passed already
Comparing the iron weaponry without looking at the attack speed was painful. :P
I was thinking a 1 chunk tile man. You choose a random chunk then a random tile with a spot you gain xp from but you also have to complete the chunk before being able to use tiles that gain in each chunk completed.
Interesting idea, but this can't go anywhere at all, right? That's like 2200ish tiles if you maxed the account, I don't know if you could even get to a place to train every single skill before you ran out. A single quest can take more tiles than you can ever possibly unlock, right? Seems like this one is pretty much destined to end after two or three episodes.
I do say you should get the 32 tiles from the starting levels.
Maybe come up with 32 challenges that once you complete you get the tile??
You've wasted too many tiles already. Every tile is very very valuable.
Great watch, good luck with the series
hi dad
It's a great challenge. I think it can be done. But consider all the places you can tele to with the right runes.
this is literally insane lol. can you even get a fire cape with 2200 tiles?
I give this 3 episodes before it dies out again
If you wanna be able to do more later on you can do like every x amount of xp after 99 like a high number obviously
Man i was sweating after watching such an INTENSE BATTLE ⛏️
Glad to see you not completely abandoning the tile man. Unique starting spots and rules can really mix this restriction up.
Pip: this sword is barely better than the pickaxe
Attack speed that is literally shown on the stats screen: am I a joke to you
6:45 its called a MAGAZINE
I just don't see how you'll be able to get to fight cave levels and gear/inventory within 2245 tiles. Since training slayer seems to be impossible or extremely easy soft lock. All of the gear has to come from the caves without slayer an I just don't see if happening tbh. That said, I wish luck on this challenge, I want to be proven wrong!
5:35 imagine protesting numbers
insane gameplay
What the actual hell I've been Mandela Effected
That randoms name is Capt' Arrav I don't know who the fuck Arnav is but he's not real you can't tell me otherwise
Wanted to scream when he started using the pickaxe even though it's a downgrade from the dagger smh
killing hill giants then skotizo should sort you out kinda well for some gear and prayer lvls
If u want a bit more tiles u could do 1 extra tile every 1million total xp or get bonus tiles when u reach 99 in a skill :).
i would allow the first 32 tiles for your choice of where you start from and not thrown away
incredibly ambitious. even if you started with all the gear you would need. you will still need to like… go to one tree and chop it til 99 wc use that one tree to get 99 fletching and fire making to have even close to enough spare tiles to gear up and even get to the fight caves.
This might be the most limited Tileman series out there, at least that I am aware of. I wondering if it is even possible to do this?
For Pip, nope… not possible, he will drop the series before 1k total. It will be fun to watch for a few episodes though:)
Theres legit nothing for it, 2k tiles gets you nowhere. You can't max with 2k tiles.
hell yea bro
Btw, the axe and pickaxe have lower attack speed. The sword attacks faster with better stats
I see you like to suffer! Thank you kind sir, as it makes for the best entertainment! what a banger!
You're robbing that poor woman blind!
