Love him! 💚Discovered him last year, indeed he plays cheerfully but i'd say he was a hard f*cker if ya crossed him...the steamroller and himself would smoke you out! 🤣🎶☘💪
Yes, Christy the communist, who is happily flushing down the plughole, our traditions and culture, in his support of open border mass immigration and the proposed hate speech law's, that will have the native Irish as second class citizens in their own country.
that's what you might believe, there's actually an unimaginable amount of skill, nuance and variation to every phrase, he pulls out the invisible part of every tune. the kind of thing you could spend your whole life trying to emulate and never get there. the genius is that it sounds like he's making it up as he goes along
Micho is my great grand uncle. His grand nephew played a beautiful tune on the feadóg at Michos nephews funeral last year
Who was that I’d love to know of any relatives?
An irish legend

I was lucky to meet micho at his home when i was a teen. He was very gracious and played some tunes with me on whistle.
The legend that is Micho Russell will live forever in the epic Christy Moore classic Lisdoonvarna.
